Good location, near to resto and center. Staff are accommodating. The hotel can be improved by putting signage outside the hotel so it can be easily seen. Since the reception is at the 2nd floor, it will help to have some guide upon entering the hotel.

    In the middle of everything”

We arrived late in the evening and tried to find the hotel, which succeeded after a while. We were placed in the nearby annex, called Casa Fornaretto. This holiday house is run by the staff of the adjacent Palazzo Rosa and located near Santi Apostoli square. It is the middle of everything located near Saint Mark's Square, the Mercato, and the Bridge of Rialto. The nearest boat station is Ca D'Oro only 100-200 meters away. The room was basic but very nice. A positive thing was that the room had a small terazza overlooking the small backyard. A minus was that breakfast was not included, but there are cafes in the neighborhood. We bought some breakfast in the evening in shops and cafes nearby, and brought it to the room.

good place to stay for a night or two”

    very clean excellent location
    not include breakfast

Although this hotel is hidden in a back alley.I found it no problem in locating it.The closest ferry pier should be Rialto. The staff there are friendly and the rooms are in good size. The room rate isn't too cheap but when you consider it's located in the heart of the city,it's actually quite ok. The rooms are clean and with a small tv and fridge.Overall a very okay place to stay.

    Cheap but a bad experience”

The hotel is located in San Marco
The hotel is far from the ferry stop, you have to carry bags over bridges (at least 4 of them) and then when we got to the hotel they told us we are in another building thats another 3 bridges away. The second building has a very noisy passage and no air conditioning - According to the owner it is Venice regulations, but upon checkout he changed his story and saying we dont know how to operate an air conditioner - this after their staff kept us awak until 0130am trying to get the aircon switched on.

We stayed in another hotel in Venice few days before which was double the price of this hotel, and it was 10 times better - there are always reasons why a hotel is cheaper. The Hotel owner was extremely rude, telling me I dont know how to operate the aircon remote control. I got the idea that he planned the aircon being switched off (main switch or something) in order to save electricity - and then switching it on early the next morning to show that the customer is incompetent operating it. Will never eve stay with this hotel again. Pay a little more for a lot better. The room was very dirty, bathroom had footstep marks and spiderwebs. The doors have a standard square key, a shape you can be at a toy shop - so I doubt it would be very safe to leave your belongings in the room

    Stay in Venice”

Great great great location. Big room and very tidy. Air Con. Excellent restaurant on the doorstep.
Limited TV channels, no fridge in room.

The hotel is located close to Rialto / San Marco and the Grand Canal. Breakfast is simple but sufficient and staff were friendly. Pitty about the lack of refridgerator as cold water drinks purchased in Venice are extremely expensive. Would be nice to stock up from a supermarket and keep cold in the hotel.

Enjoyable stay at Palazzo Rosa Venice”

    Spotlessly clean and well-organized.
All access to the television was barred with no instructions to unlock.

We stayed in an annexe to the hotel. We were met by Samantha who was friendly, helpful and spoke English. The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable. The rooms were well situated, accessible to shops, retaurants and all features of Venice. The rooms consisted of a bedroom with kingsized bed, bathroom, kitchen and comfortable lounge. We enjoyed our stay, would return and would recommend.

    A fantastic place”

Brilliantly sitauted, well priced, fantastic value for money, polite, friendly, helpful staff
    really nothing bad to say

The hotel is brilliantly situated in the heart of Venice, almost equi-distance between the train station and the San Marco square. It's situation really does allow you to enjoy the non-tourist aspects of Venice (if there is such a thing). The staff were friendly, the rooms were simple, clean and more than adequate for any length of stay.
