Just returned to the UK from a fabulous week at the Palm Beach guest house in Summerstrand. As a solo first time traveller to this area i was made to feel so welcome by Candice and ALL of her excellent team. Nothing was to much trouble and they certainly go above and way beyond what you would expect. I would not hesitate to return to the Palm Beach and highly recommend it.

Great location, very helpful staff”
We stayed in room eight for a week whilst attending a family wedding. The room was huge, with a separate living area and a balcony which overlooked the sea. The staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable on the activities to do around Port Elizabeth. Parking is within the secure hotel compound so no worries there! A good range of hot and cold items available at breakfast. Next time I'm in Port Elizabeth I'd love to stay there again.

The guest house is located right on the beachfront in a great location. We stayed in the ocean view room which was spacious clean and had all the facilities you would expect. Also the shower was amazing really powerful. The breakfast is really good hot food cooked to order and a selection of continental breakfast. Also the coffee was really nice. The breakfast room is really clean with some really cool decore. The pool is small but functional and provided a nice reprieve from the sun. The staff onsite were all really friendly and efficent, check in and out were a breeze. The place is also very secure and there is parking to. I communicated buy email with Candice the owner. Before we arrived and she was so helpful and polite and answered all my questions. Even when we arrived we had a small issue with the safe and she made sure it was fixed immediately. All in all a great place. And would reccommend.

Beautiful location, right on the beach. Large clean suite with a nice balcony with ocean view. Walking distance to grocery store and various restaurants. And a lovely full breakfast was included, with eggs, bacon, sausage, fruits, cereals, etc. Would definitely return again!

Sehr gute Lage ”
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen. Das Frühstück war gut und lecker. Sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Apartment. Das Personal könnte etwas freundlicher sein. Außerdem benötigt die Ferienwohnung mit Meerblick einen neuen Teppichboden. Dieser ist verschmutzt. Im Bad sollte eine Duschwand anstelle eines Duschvorhang angebracht werden und auch die Matratze ist schon sehr durchgelegen.

Sehr nettes Guesthouse ”
Ein kleines Guesthouse an Rande von Summerstrand, daher sehr ruhig gelegen. Sehr nette Betreuung durch Winston. Auch das restliche Personal sehr freundlich. Zimmer sind sauber und schön eingerichtet. Netter Pool welcher aber nicht beheizt ist daher war er im Januar etwas kühl, aber man könnte ihn benutzen. Frühstück war in Ordnung. Strand direkt um die Ecke. Es gibt ein sehr gutes Restaurant in der Nähe (De Kelder) welches fußläufig sehr gut erreichbar ist. Weitere Restaurants am Boardwalk sind auch in ca. 2 km Entfernung.
