Really Enjoyed our Stay”
Our stay Palm was fantastic, having been to Vietnam a few times we thought we would fly directly into HCMC, then straight to Danang and catch a taxi to Palm Garden to start enjoing our 3 week break. We wanted to be close to Hoi An, but also enjoy a "resort" that had a good pool and also a good beach. Palm Garden didn't dissapoint, the daily breakfast buffet was amazing, the room we had had great water views, the pool was excellent (water temp a little warmer than expected but not too bad...like most pools in Asia with all day sun) and the fact that it was a beach location topped it off. We swam daily and the water/beach was very clean. As Cua Dai beach is long (30Km's long) it makes for a great beach for morning or evening walks. Only critisms were - the beds could be a little softer (after all they are claiming that this is 5 star!!) - I think i may have gotten stung by either a little jeyyfish, but nothing anyone could do about that! Nothing fierce just a little rash. - Check in and Check out staff could be a little warmer
We stayed at the resort from the 16 - 23 August and absolutely loved it there. We stayed in a room with a garden view which was fine. The queen size bed was very comfortable and the pillows lovely and soft which was perfect for me as I always take my own when I go on holiday but on this occasion didn't need it. The resort itself isn't huge but designed in such a way that it feels pretty spacious. The pool though is huge and very clean, so plenty of room to relax on one of the many loungers. The staff at the pool/beach are great and provide you with a menu and a flag which you gently wave to attract their attention should you want to order something. The beach is equally gorgeous with many loungers and hammocks to relax on. There's an abundance of choice for breakfast: Vietnamese, Chinese and European, with an array of bread and lots of fresh fruit too. Other than breakfast, which we loved, we only ate once at the resort which was on our first evening and tried the seafood BBQ which was only ok, after that we ate in the restaurants across the road from the resort and along the beach. My favourite was situated on the beach and is the first of two restaurants on your right, a few minutes walk from the resort - their green papaya salad with shrimp was simply delicious! The resort provides a free shuttle service to Hoi An town, however, a taxi only costs around £3.50 so not a huge expense if you choose to return earlier. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Palm Garden and Beach resort and will definitely return next year!
Beach-front bangalowI recommended”
When I decided to stay at Cua Dai beach, the difficult question was which hotel to stay. Among the five-star beach resorts, I chose this hotel to reserve a beach-front bungalow at a reasonable price. I believe the choice was right. As my family took an early flight to Danang, I asked the hotel for early check in. Upon arrival, we were assigned Room 418, which was one of the 14 rooms in front of the beach. The view from the door facing the beach or the terrace was brilliant. We were very satisfied with the room. The bathtub was uniquely located in a place similar to courtyard and looked nice but it took a while to fill the hot water. Beach was beautiful and uncrowned. To spend a day there and the poolside was lovely. Spa treatment near the beach was amazing experience to ladies of our family at affordable price. It was convenient to take a taxi to and from the charming town of Hoi an though there was a free shuttle run by the hotel.
Hoi An = beautiful retreat location. ”
we stayed at the palm garden resort for 5 days. it is very easy to get to the town of hoi an from here -excellent value for a 5 star resort (and definitely qualifies as 5 star to us). every single staff member we came across was very helpful and always smiling. we enjoyed the pool (no swim up bar, but ordering cocktails from your sunbed is no problem) on the first day, which was lucky as the weather took a turn for cooler temps and infrequent rain, so make the most of the pool when you can! the spa was beautiful. we took a package where we had a massage, facial, use of spa and sauna and healthy cuisine meal afterwards. the whole experience was excellent, as the package was completed in one of the vip treatment rooms (i highly recommend this package for one evening, about 3-4 hrs). our room was large with 3 doors that opened to the garden. we spent a few hours just sitting out the back and admiring the beautiful gardens. room housekeeping was done twice daily. the bathroom was beautiful, with a bath tub and open style shower. i recommend visiting the marble mountains and meson valley. try and find a private driver who speaks english, it will make your outings more tailored and personal.
Best place to relax in Hoi An”
My husband and I took our 21 month olds daughter to Palm Garden Hoi An for 3 days, it turned out to be amazing. The resort is perfectly located on the beach, far enough away from Da Nang city and Hoi An city for those who want to have peaceful & relaxing environment. Great location for not just family, but also couples, and the elderly as well. There are plenty of things to do for kids, safe environment where your kids can enjoy and explore why you can lay back and relax. They can swim in private beach, swim in the pools, play football on the grass, volleyball on the sand, or enjoy feeding the fish (with bread from breakfast) in the little ponds next to Terrace Cafe(where they serve breakfast, and is astonishingly beautiful terrace looking over the garden) There are plenty of green, not just palms. Couples can enjoy privacy too. I wish the staff a little more friendly. Nonetheless, we will definitely come back. I'm actually too excited to plan for that immediately!!
Amazing! Best staff ever accounted!”
Arranged for 18 of my guests to stay at this hotel when we recently had our wedding in Hoi An. We chose to have our wedding at another resort locally, but notwithstanding this the Palm Garden staff were so helpful and went above and beyond to ensure that our special day ran smoothly. They organised the resorts beautiful new mercedes to transport us (we weren't even staying there) for our wedding and even organised beautiful, elaborate flowers for the cars. They also arranged a day room for the groom at a very very reasonable rate and ensured that canapes and nibbles were provided throughout the day (something I couldn't get from the resort the wedding was being held at!). I would recommend this resort to anyone, the rooms are great, the staff are super friendly and efficient, airport transfer is very reasonably priced in comparison to taxi's. The restaurant food is also really yummy, we brought a few bottles of wine in and they didn't charge us corkage either. The pool is beautiful, on a good day the lounges fill up quickly but the staff are more than happy to shift the lounges around and pull out more if they need. Highly recommended!
10 nights of relaxation”
Excellent. We had previously enjoyed a short stay in the Hoi An beach resort strip, but this time we were here for 10 nights for a resort style holiday and we were very very happy with our choice. Palm Gardens offered and delivered all the resort features you could ask for, dining, drinking and sporting options with regular shuttle buses into the ancient town. The size of the resort and proximity to the beach and alternate dining options meant you could always find a quiet spot to eat, drink or snooze in comfort. Although it was very busy being local holiday season with many other asian guests we were always able to find space and solitude and got the late check out we had asked for. The breakfast buffet offered seemingly every choice imaginable and the choice of other bars and restaurants was impressive. There are also a couple of dining options opposite the motel which are also recommended. The staff were always friendly and polite and were keen to improve thier english. We were warmly welcomed by the duty manager even though we arrived at 11.00pm and also upon return from retail and cultural activities during our stay. Special mention to the guys at the beach bar for their attention during happy hour (also great value) Thanh Tuan, The Dat and Toan.
Lovely hotel, fantastic staff”
We loved our stay at Palm Garden Resort and ended up staying 5 nights. We were upgraded by the hotel to an ocean view villa as the hotel hadn't received our initial booking. The villa was fabulous with its outdoor bathtub and beachfront position. Our air conditioning didn't work too well, but it didn't particularly bother us as it wasn't too hot during our stay. I'm sure they would have fixed it or moved us if we'd notified them. The grounds of the hotel were lovely. The food in the hotel restaurants was really good. Unfortunately the restaurants were lacking in atmosphere at night as most people dined in Hoi An. We found this a little disappointing as the hotel really seemed to be making an effort to attract diners with special offers etc. We booked a car to go to My Son sanctuary one day and were upgraded to a Mercedes, complete with cold face towels and chilled bottled water.. a nice touch! Any issues we had, whether or not they were related to the hotel, were promptly and plesantly dealt with. The staff really were exceptional. We can't say enough about them.
Me and my family stayed for 9 days at this very good Resort. It was our second time here and we can confirm that The Palm Garden is a very nice place to stay with your family for a relaxed vacations. Beach, swimming pool, room, SPA, Kids Club, gardens, breakfast, launch, dinner...yeah, just relaxing! The only, only bad thing to a full 5 stars experience is the very low speed internet that the resort offers. Even the small restaurants across the beach have a reasonable wifi connection. But not in the resort. Yes its time to review the infrastructure guys! Overall Conclusion: Highly Recommended!
Great room, great service”
The Palm Garden Resort was a recommendation from a friend of mine and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others. The staff were very friendly and attentive, the room was gorgeous, and they went out of their way to make us feel special on our honeymoon. The restaurants are both very reasonable with good food if you are inclined to stay at the beach or the pool for the day. Although it was low season without many people around, there was still a full buffet breakfast every morning, and fresh good quality food. If I was heading back to Hoi An I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
We stayed 4 nights in a Deluxe Garden View room and loved it. The beach is gorgeous - pure white sand and warm water, with food and drinks delivered to your deck chair - what more could you ask for? The pool is also good and very large, though the pool's water temperature is too warm for such a hot climate (we found this was the case at other Hoi An resorts too). No trouble finding a deck chair, even though the resort was completely booked out. The large, green gardens are beautifully maintained and give a feeling of spaciousness, so you don't notice how busy the resort is. Breakfast was good, with plenty of options. Our room was big, with a good bathroom and a HUGE bed. Not sure that I would call this resort 5 star - it feels more like a 4 star - but we certainly had nothing to complain about for the price we paid and we enjoyed our stay immensely. I had two massages at the resort and both were good - thank you Van! You can get a cheaper massage across the street at a local place, but I very much enjoyed the spa experience at the resort. There is a strip of shops and restaurants across the road, so you can try different local places (unlike some of the beachfront resorts closer to Danang, where you are isolated and have to get taxis everywhere). You can also take a short taxi ride to Anbang beach or Hoi An town for more restaurants. Food at the resort is very average and overpriced. Staff are efficient and attentive, though not particularly friendly. Overall we had a great stay here and would recommend it if you want to be at a good beach (with no hawkers bothering you!).
Perfect beachside location!”
We had a wonderful 8 night stay at the Palm Garden Resort. We had a deluxe ocean view room which was so close to the beach we could here the waves from our bed! The room was nice if not luxurious, but I couldn't really criticize. The staff were very good as was the breakfast, and the selection. We ate in hoi an most evenings, also we tried a couple of restaurants outside the front of the hotel. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and if we are ever in hoi an again I would most certainly go back.
Palm Garden _ Hoi An”
The Palm Garden is situated about 30-40 mins from Danang Airport. Looks big, earthy and natural. Large entrance. Recepetion and staff did not seem as attentive from where we stayed in Hanoi. We stayed in the beach front Villa which was amazing and worth the extra dollars. Seperate outside bathroom/showers and bath in open styled attachment to the bedroom villa. Food and beverage prices were quite cheap compared to Hanoi. Large King bed but pillows seemed a tad uncomfrtable. No Australian T.V channel which was a bummer cause the footy finals were on at the time. Stayed 3 nights and found with low season was very quiet. Nice for the first couple of nights but we had to explore more in town after that. We tried the Qi Beauty spa and got a massage and facial package. Very proffessional and attentive but unusual at the time. They had a male worker within the changerooms that looked after you and opened your locker, undressed you and put a robe on you. You cant be shy cause that's seems to be part of the service. Massage what ok, facial what great and just what we needed after lot's of sun. Packages are cheap compared to other countries, $49 for facial, 30 for massage. All meals were great at all the Restaurants. The Western restaurant nearest to beach had , Pizza, pasta etc. If you dont like too much cheese on your pizza, let them know cause there is alot of cheese. Breakfast was included in our package with a great selection. Tip, get there early if you want the freshest food. Other than that, food is close to perfect. Staff were nice but a lot of them had very basic english skills and could be frustrating if you let it. I'm sure in high season, the place would be crowded with buzz and atmosphere for lunch and dinner. Palm garden is not most expensive or best resort in Hoi An but if you have a family or not looking for a complete 5 star resort, it definately will tick all the boxes. Great value for money.
I would highly recommend the Palm Garden Beach Resort as it has a laid back setting with beautiful gardens and beach. Lots to do for our children (3 and 4) and a quality food selection for children and adults. Prices are reasonable (2 dollars for a Heineken and 6 dollars for a club sandwich). Food was tasty and breakfast buffet was second only to Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise or Palliser Calgary. Spend the extra and get the beach front bungalow that opens up onto lush golf green like grass (Perfect if you brought a frisbee or bocce ball) that meets the clean sandy beach 20 meters away. Good solid waves 1 to 1.5 meters high for boogie boarding. Ask for 403 or 402 bungalow if you have little children as there is a small playground between the two units - easy for supervision.
A great place to relax”
We stayed at the Palm Garden Resort for 4 days. The hotel is beautifully located on a long, clean beach, great pool. Rooms are good sized (we stayed in an Ocean View room), nice bathroom. Hoi An town is 5 km away, there is a hotel free shuttle to the center (4 times a day), and taxi available at all times (~$5 one way). We enjoyed our stay, and will definitely come back.
Try to arrange your stay during full moon”
We enjoyed three nights at Palm Garden and found the premises wonderful. It's large enough that you can find private space even when there are a lot of people staying there. The pool is gigantic and the hammocks by the pool and the beach were fantastic. The resort had a great breakfast spread every morning, and Palm Garden isn't too far from Hoi An town that you can't visit it easily.
Palm Garden Resprt at Hoi An”
This is my first time in Hoi An. Palm Garden Resort had been recommended by a friend. I enjoyed my stay there. The hotel has a very good beachfront location. I went in Nov so didn't get to do any sea sports. Me and my travelling companion are already talking about going back there in summer. Generally very good service and amenities and facilities (Spa/Gym/Cooking class/Language class etc. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. I especially liked the bathroom - very spacious/modern/clean.
Great place! Nice beach and pool”
Palm Garden is a great hotel near Hoi An (free shuttle or $5 cab ride). The beach is really nice and the pool is perfect for kids 3+. They also have a baby pool for really little ones. A large portion of the main pool is only .8 meters deep which was perfect for our daughter. There are also a few restaurants and cheap spa options right across the street.
Luxury all the way - what more could you want?”
We stayed at this lovely resort for 5 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. It is a beautifully designed resort where rooms all feel private. The paths and gardens are dotted with flowers, trees and garden ornaments which light up at night. The pool is huge with a lovely spa. The attendents here were amazing - constantly looking to see that people had towels, chairs, drinks. We had a Vietnamese massage each at the Palm Spa and went back for a Harmony massage in the pavilion which overlooks the ocean and beach. Fabulous!
Beautiful hotel in a great location”
We were extremely happy with Palm Garden Resort right down to the hotel pick up from the airport. Our bungalow was spacious and the outdoor bathroom was beautiful. The pool was lovely with plenty of sunlounges as was the beach. Breakfast was great each morning and the day spa was also great. We could not fault the resort.
Free Wi-Fi in all rooms!
