    Thank you Palm Plaza”

I like the location, as its on the red hot spot with the great services of the workers. 24/7 they have been always on the move.
If they can help with more services, such as transport arrangement to be on time. Maybe some food in the hotel is a bit expensive.

My time in the Palm Plaza Hotel is one of the best ever in the Asian countries, as I already experienced some of the hotels in the Asian region. With a great service as I first approach the main entrance on the welcome and smiling faces of the person who open the door, really makes me feel at home. I like the English of those two girls at the reception desk when they greet me again with their smiling faces. It just make me really need to stay in the hotel, and now I confirmed with them that I do need a room in my 5 days of business work in Manila, even though it was quiet a distance from my business place. I like the room with all its services, which makes me just want to stay in the room all the time as I watched TV all the way long till I dozed off to my dreamland. Definitely, It was so sad for me to live the hotel during my check-out time, but I'm coming back to Palm Plaza Hotel in my next business trip in Manila.

    Like Palm Plaza Hotel”

very good location, good value for money

its my second time to stay at the palm plaza hotel. my first time was on a leisure trip with my officemates and this time with my husband and my 5 yr old daughter. still the same thing holds true. the palm plaza hotel has a very good location.... so many adjacent shopping, dining, recreational facilities for people of all ages... all these within your reach either a short walk or a short cab ride away. the rooms and facilities are fairly decent and the hotel staff are all very friendly and accommodating. checking in and checking out of the hotel, and even getting a cab is a breeze. i'd still definitely consider staying in the same hotel should we go back to manila.

    Good hotel, will come back”

Great location, big rooms, polite staff

No doubt the hotel is a little dated with its room decor, but can't complaint since the price was reasonable. Huge bed, functioning air con, ok breakfast spread. Do note that they had just offer the breakfast buffet upgrade for an additional 100 pesos (the breakfast deal on agoda is for the alacarte, not buffet). To me, the alacarte is good enough as I love the milk fish! Taxi from the international terminal was 300 pesos, but varies up to 400 depending on traffic. Lucky for me traffic was smooth. Hotel van seats up to 8 passengers and cost 1000 pesos, good option for groups. Plenty of food around, for good local dishes I would head to Bacolod inasal in the mall opposite (plz read my review on the restaurant as well). Just a heads up, there is a casino in Hyatt hotel next door. Happy gambling and happy staying in Manila, I will be coming back and will definitely consider palm plaza again!

Very nice, clean and affordable rooms!”

First, thelocation is great. It is located at the very center of manila. Next, it has very nice, clean and affordable rooms.

Me and my family always come to manila for my dad's medical checkup and it's about time to get a hotel room to stay. I remembered Palm Plaza back in College days in UP that I used to pass by. It seems a simple hotel from the outside but when i finally saw the room, i would say it is comparable to the other 5 star hotels around Manila. Also, the price is affordable. It is clean and quiet! Also, it feels like home! Not to mention, the great location of the hotel, at the very center of Manila, near the Robinsons mall, Mall of Asia, baywalk, many establishments, UP PGH Hospital and more. Me and my family will surely get back to the hotel again and again in the future.

    Great stay”

    Location, location, location

Second time stayed at Palm plaza, still my fav hotel in malate, location wise and the room size, ( mine is double superior room on 8th floor) , I would like to thank the receptionist letting me to late check out at 3pm without extra cost, ( selamat pó) :) like the bath room, shower area has a deep base, so no water splash every where while u having a shower, water pressure isn't great but it's ok , plentiful of power points in room to recharge Ur gadget, good city view, BUT!!! It gets really noisy between 12am to 3am, loud music from pubs and night clubs around the area, light sleeper should ask for room behind but no view though , Few things has improved since my last stay, 1st is unlimited free wifi internet in the lobby, ( used to be only free for 1 hour) hopefully in the future, we will get free in room wifi, free in room wifi is my 3rd most important thing I look for when I book my hotel!! 2nd is the all u can eat buffet breakfast (350 peso),it's not the best but some day they have really good food, you can check the food first. :) Agoda is still the cheapest online website to book hotel in Asia and their response for booking error is really fast, GREAT JOBS :)

Busy location, basic hotel but good for the price”

    Price and location

this is one of the cheaper hotels in the area and for me the location is pretty good; it's right across the street from robinson mall which is convienient for me as i go to fitness first gym inside robinson whenever i'm in manila. but the area is very busy and congested, which might me a turn-off to some. it should also be noted this is run-down area of manila with lots of homeless and beggars on the street. this applies to malate in general though, not just this hotel's location. the room is good but nothing special. the beds are quite hard. the price can't be beat though. if money is not an option you might opt for the hyatt which is right next door.

Great location for shopping and night life”

    Clean and comfortable

excellent location! stayed 2 weeks in palm plaza hotel ,booked a superior twin bed , non smorking room through agoda, room rate are cheaper at agoda than other hotel websites, i'd a room on7th floor, room is clean , comfortable beds , bathroom is nice, except the water pressure is a bit weak, tv programs is good, small fridge in room and hot water boiler provided , u can make tea or coffee, the hotel wont provide appliances plug adaptor for use, they will sell u one for 100 php, its better go to robinson supermarket, u can buy it for 30 php,no in room safe, so u have to use the safe in front desk , wifi is fast but only free for 30 mins, also it's only can be connected at the lobby, receptionist are polite and helpful so as the door men and security guard and there is a police station just next door, so it's quite safe to walk around at night , lot of ppl complaint about the lift due to there is only 1 lift and slow, hmmm i have to say i don't have any problem with that, never one time i have to wait for long time for the lift, i don't really like the massage spa service in the hotel, 2 times i used the service, the masseur didn't do the 1 hr 30 mins massage, she only massage 1 hr 10 mins then she said finished :( 2 times same person, not happy here:(. btw there are must better massage places in the robinson shopping mall on the top floor next to the movie world, they have better service here :) location wise, excellent ! robinson shopping mall just one street cross to get there, fitness first gym in the mall is good and affordable for short term membership, lots of japanese, korean restaurants nearby, my favorite is one small filipino restaurant just two doors down from the eurotel hotel , nice and cheap food , lots of local filipino who works at the hospital nearby dine there, try it! most of the reviews about this hotel and surrounding area are pretty accurate and helpful so hopefully my review can be helpful to some.

    Convenient and Comfortable”

This hotel is very convenient to Robinson's Mall. It is just across the street. The rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly
It doesn't have many of the ameneties we enjoy,

I stay at the Palm Plaza everytime I go to Manila and stay in the Malate area. I enjoy the atmosphere there and the convenience of Robinson's Mall across the street. It is a very good value for the money. The food in the hotel is slightly above average. It is within walking distance to the bay and the national theater.

Spacious Clean Rooms and Great Agoda Rate”

Clean Room Freindly Staff Across from the MALL

We have stayed at Palm Plaza 5 times. Always a nice sized clean room. The staff is friendly. With Agoda's rate its a great value. Huge Mall right across the street. This is central Manila so expect lots of traffic and street noise but no problem sleeping at night. Its about a 20-25 minute ride to the airport. If you use a metered cab it's only 200-250 pesos ($5 to $6. The hotel shuttle and airport cabs will run you 600-1000 pesos, so use a well marked company named cab and make sure it is metered. If safety is an issue use the hotel shuttle - this is Manila remember so always feel safe. Its still way cheaper than USA cabs. Be sure to visit the Chefs Quarters across the street. The food is very good - try the lamb mmmmm - and they have nightly entertainment on the patio. All in all we stay here cuz its clean and affordable and good location. There are certainly some nicer hotels if you want to spend for the price Palm Plaza is always our first choice.

friendly staff and clsoe to Robinson's

palm plaza was the 2nd hotel that i ever stayed in manila, the location is great that its away from roxas blvd and noise, but not far to do business. room and bath was very clean and adequate, for americans a little small but worth the money. i would like to try your deluxe but never seen it advertised for booking. it is located close to robinsons mall which great for me, because i don't like going all over town looking for shopping, i also can stay in room and let wife look all she wants at mall only a short distance away. will be staying here the next time i'm in manila.

The Palm Plaza is centrally located in Malate with the large Robinson's Mall right across the road for your shopping and dining pleasure, and is in the heart of the entertainment district with a short trike ride to many nightlife options. Opposite large shopping mall and night life”

Reasonably priced rooms, clean and central

This hotel offers European standards and is operated by friendly and helpful staff. I would assess it as a European 3 star clean hotel. The hotel is situated in central Malate area and seconds from a large modern shopping mall. The area offers a range of adult entertainment and is ok for couples and single travelers. I do not feel suitable for families and retired couples. Malate is one of Manilas higher than normal crime areas so caution should be applied, normal safety issues such as not wearing jewelry and carrying large sums of cash, this goes for the whole of the Philippines due to the poverty and high crime rates. The breakfast at the hotel is over priced so I would suggest eating out and trying the many different food outlets.

Good location for shopping and nightlife”

    Location

Whoever needs to stay in Manila and wants a budget room can surely book the Palm Plaza hotel. It is situated just accross the giant Robinson Mall in Manilas Malate district. There is as well a buzzing nightlife with various bars, KTV and other establishments nearby. The Hotel itself is nothing special. Hot shower and air conditioning in every room. The Air con is noisy though. I would not recommend the food in the hotel. I ordered the "healthy breakfast" and instead of porridge i got a bowl of soup, no jam with the toast and watery juice. Better go out for food. Nevertheless excellent staff, very friendly and always helpful. Clean rooms and towels every day.

    Good location, great service

It was a really nice stay at Palm Plaza Hotel. The location is great, the service is wonderful. We stayed at Deluxe Room which looked so big on the picture. Well, get ready that it is just a picture. The room is quite small. The bed is huge and comfortable. The hotel advertises a free WiFi. Ouch! It is only 30 min per day which are free, you have to pay for longer use, and the rate is not that cheap at all - 100 pesos for an hour! Just get Globe phone card, activate unlimited 5 days internet for 200 pesos and use your phone as a personal hot spot for your computer.

Best Value for a short stay”

Location of the hotel, access to airport and malls and clubs. Air con and showers (hot and cold).

i've been staying in this hotel for more than a decade now. why pay hundreds more when for just around 30-40 dollars you have a comfortable sized room with air con and shower and a bed. just across the street from the robinson's malate and around the corner from pagcor gambling and the hyatt, it has a great location. just a few blocks behind palm plaza are the bars/ pubs/ and clubs malate is known for. just 30 min from naia, their airport service is safe and secure. friendly doormen, bellboys, and desk staff. the only thing is that their picture of the superior room on the 2nd floor isn't the superior room i got when i went through agoda. i reserved and paid for a superior room, but when i checked in, the lady in the front desk said the superior rooms in the 2nd floor had a different rate.... confusing.
