Worth a visit”

My stay in Palma Beach Resort was very comfortable. Reception staff plus the restaurant staff were very friendly. Check in & check out was very quick. Specially I would like to appreciate the breakfast layout it was very nice and healthy.

Nice weekend getaway”

The hotel is a nice affordable weekend getaway away from the big city stress, the buffet breakfast was very nice and plentiful, the staff there were very helpful and nice. The pool area is nice and the lifeguard is there to help even with the setting up of the pool umbrellas. The beach was nice and quiet, very calm water. Points to improve: though we arrived late (around 10 PM), the receptionist did not tell us where everything was and the resort is quite big so we had to call up in the morning to find out where the breakfast and the beach were. The room did not have any towels upon arrival, had to call housekeeping and I must say that within 5 minutes someone was at the door with the towels!

Needs to improve ”

Over the years we have been staying at Palma beach as it has a great location and has a lot of activities. But the lack of maintenance really puts it a level down for me. The room itself was below par for a premium resort with old furniture, smelly rooms, cracked table and balcony glass and the list goes on. We stayed here during the eid break and the price for a suite was high compared to all the others. It is a shame, I hope they improve.

Acceptable”

The amenities which were stated and in the photos were not the same with the appearance and layout of the room. The room I booked was a Suite beach front which has 2 beds, 1 king size and 1 queen bed (as stated in Agoda). However, when we came there we only saw 1 bed. The Palma beach hotel was insisting that it was the room that we booked for, which they call as Double Room beach view, and they don't have a 2-bedroom villa in the resort. The Executive Suite that they have according to her is the same with our room, but costs a little more since it was newly renovated. The pictures were also deceiving, since in the photos, I saw that the villa has 2 floors, and the upper floor has a balcony which was also stated in the amenities. However, as per the resort hotel, the balcony is the space in front of the room. I called Agoda during check in to complain these, but I was not given a sensible option. I was only given the option to Cancel the booking with full refund or be provided with an extra bed. Cancelling the booking is not an option since I have planned for this a long time ago. So I chose to be provided with an extra bed, wherein I was provided with a SINGLE folding bed with foam. I am very much disappointed with how things turned out which was way out of what I have expected. And besides, we have encountered a lot of problems during our stay! The receptionist was very rude and not helpful, lacks customer service and always replies with a NO! The air condition in the living room is not working and my guests were using paper plates as fan. How embarrassing! We called the Maintenance but just gave us the reason that it was hot outside that's why the AC is not cold. During the night, we also had problems with the AC inside the room since it stopped cooling and was making a very loud noise, hence we were not able to rest and sleep well. The overall experience was not a very pleasant one.

Good Enough. ”

It was good. The pool is not that big but good enough for a not a swimmer like me. There is this kiddie pool with big bucket that pours unto you when it fills up and I find it fun coz the water is cold. The Spa is ok with swimming pool inside. But you have to pay 65 to use the pool. With 65 AED you can use the sauna and the pool for the whole day. The beach is near the mangrove so you can catch fishes. They have a bowling area too. Picture taking is great coz there are a lot of Egyptian statues around the place.

Wonderful Place to Stay”

The room was excellent. Very clean and spacious. Poolside was excellent but beach area is not ok, however for overall rate, i could say perfect for family and friends outing.

Value for money!”

It was a great experience. The beach is absolutely gorgeous, food was great, excellent room service and great value for money overall.

Pleasant stay with family”

Pros: - One can Bar BQ from right outside the room - Reasonable water sports - Reasonable and good quality food - Decent breakfast - Splash pool for kids and amazing big pool for adults Cons: - Swiming pools are not temprature controlled. Big turn-off for kids as that is the main attraction and activity for kids. In all honesty, its a great value for money resort but due to all the swimming pools not temprature controled, kids get bored as they have nothing else to do in winters. Hence dont recommend going in winters if you are staying with kids.

Nice stay but slightly noisy”

The check-in was smooth and the staff were very friendly. The room size and cleanliness was very good. The food was good and the prices very reasonable. There are motorized water sports in the area so it could be slightly noisy.

Relaxing environment”

We always come back to this place because it's so relaxing. Amenities, place and room is nice especially the rooms in sea view. We will always come back to this place if we want to relax and enjoy.

Decent Resort with a Nice Location”

Everything was above average but the facilities like the sauna and steam had to be paid for as it is run separately and not part of the resort. The availability of dishes at late hours for room service is to be improved.

Everything was perfect couldn't ask for more. A little not too clean but yet the location and everything was too good to overlook the cons.

the hotel its nice but there is only about checkin time if we arrive to hotel at 11:00 am they say the checkin time its 02:00 pm

A totally unpleasant experience”

Dont rely on the booking which you have done, I have booked 2days ahead and paid for suite sea view (ground floor) and was given a double room at the first floor (cheaper) just because all suite sea view are fully booked when we reached. The manager himself is also not aware of the room pictures shown on sites and was insisting that the room at the top is same on the ground and having same price which is defenitely erronous. You have to get what you have booked and paid for. Beach is also small and dirty. Note that there are no lifeguards on duty. The bathroom is very incapacious and even one person will be having hard time using. Nothing for heating up food. Mostly families are staying so dont expect for a peaceful night.
