A Hidden Gem! Unbelievable”
I can't say much more than if you are coming to Gili T, then Palmeto Village is the perfect place to stay. It's 3 mins walk (90 seconds cycle) away from North Beach, which has lots of restaurants and bars and is also 5 mins from Turtle point. Its about a 6 min cycle from the main pier if you need to go there for any reason other than leaving or to drink. The staff, literally could not be more helpful! From the minute we arrived to the day we left, they looked after all our needs, including ordering us food when we couldnt be bothered going out for the evening. Always smiling and willing to go the extra mile. The room itself was absoloutley beautiful, with fantastic aircon, wifi and a television with plenty of channels. We had Piera villa and loved it. Breakfast, brilliant every morning! Pancakes especially. Lastly, the pool area could not be more tranquil and peaceful in the most amazing setting. When coming back to Gili T i will most definately be booking here again! Price is also great for what you get. A hidden gem!

Beautiful Place to Stay”
Overall is delightful. I had a really good time during my stay there. The staff is really nice, helpful and polite. The place is clean, beautiful, serene and homey. Beautiful experience. Although, there are a few of mishaps here and there that I think I should point it out as a constructive feedback for Palmeto Village; One is the conditions of bicycles. As bicycle is the most major transportation in the island, Palmeto Village has to really keep up with the maintenance of their bicycles. Some of them are old ones with the chains are broken and dried up, so when we used them last time, the chain fell off in the middle of our way. Two is the condition of the private beach. When we got there first time and it's around noon, the lounger chairs are everywhere at the beach, some even touched the water, the umbrella is broken and it was a bit hard for us to put it up. The lounger cushions are some torn apart. Three is the fact that the TV Channels are not working.

Fantastic and so quiet”
With my friend we stayed 3 nights at the Palmeto Village. A very good choice when you first arrive on the island and you see all the hotels packed along the main Street and you read complaints about calls to prayer coming from the mosquees. Palmeto Village is difficult to find but once you get there you are in a quiet and relaxing oasis. The staff was very nice and helpful and you could use the bikes. Special thanks to the staff who gave us good advice for cooking lessons and massages. The hotel has also a private beach which is very nice too.

it's a romantic resort”
We super loved our stay at palmeto village! the resort is nice, they pay attention to details: design of the chalet, cafe and even the cutlery are unique. the staff is very helpful and friendly. they provide bike rental for FREE which is good, so we can explore the island by ourselves. they also provide free breakfast. we choose from their menu, and they prepare them fresh for us. i highly recommend this resort to honeymooners and those looking for a peaceful and serene place. for those who want to party, this might not be suitable for you. we will come back to palmeto village. good job!

Great stay”
We had a very nice stay here, 5 nights for our honeymoon. We loved the quiet location and with the bikes you are very fast at the beach. As we took a diving course at Lutwala Dive, which is a 4min bike ride, it was perfect for us. The reef Halik which is right in front of the beach in the north, is one of the best reefs for snorkeling and diving! And with swimming shoes, it's no problem to enter the water where some stones and broken corals are. The breakfast was really good, they also offer Italien coffee for 25.000IDR, but there was always a bit few marmalade. The room was perfect, very comfy and clean, but in the night when sleeping with aircon at 25 degrees it was a bit cold because they only provide a thin bed linen. The lights on the bike where not working, so you have to hold it in your hands and the bikes had some issues, but it was great that you can rent them for free with a locker. There was no food and sometimes no drinks because the fridge was locked, but that doesn't really matter, because there are really great restaurants close by! We recommend: Karma Kayak or Wilsons! There is no beach side that belongs to Palmeto Village, but can sit down in one of the bars like the Lutwala Bar, have drinks or lunch and enjoy the cozy seating area and beach there! All in All: great stay and the Manager seems open for feedback and is willing to improve this new boutique hotel! :)

Beautiful Paradise”
We loved Palmeto Village - it is beautifully designed and they are a conscious / ethical villa space - We loved that they had free refills and water in the fridge in glass bottles to reduce plastic and it was so quiet. The only thing was that there was limited hot water, one of us could usually only shower with the hot water and the other would receive a cold shower. It is also quite far away from other things so we had to bike ride for about 10 minutes each day to get to places - kept us fit! Would stay here again :) Thank you staff for making it feel really easy going and relaxed!!

Palmeto Village will carve a memorable moment for us. We checked in at late evening, and the staff were patiently waiting for us, as soon as we stepped in, we fall in love with its tranquility instantly. Since its just us in house guest for two days, this place were like a small neighborhood for us. Its our village, and it can be anyone's village.

Staying at Palmeto Village was wonderful and offered a relaxing place to call home for a few days. You can take advantage of all the island has to offer and come back to the peace of what feels like your private resort. The bikes make it so easy to get anywhere you want on the island. Cottages are great and well appointed. Highlight is the staff who are so focused on making you feel at home and making things easy for what you need or want.

Staffs are very kind..the host gave a lot of recommendation about what we can do and where to visit or even place to eat local food. At the time I also had a chance to meet the owner of Palmeto Village. She is a nice italian lady. I am sure will come back whenever I visit Gili T again.

It feels like home”
The location of Palmeto might be a bit far from the main street however the staff here is very friendly and very helpful especially their manager, Atun. She is there to help you if you have any problem. I don't feel away from home staying in Palmeto. The room, design everything makes me feel so relax. will definitely go back to Palmeto if i go to Gili Trawangan again. And the banana pancake is a must order dish for breakfast!!

We loved our stay at Palmeto Village. The room was lovely and big and the pool was perfect, we even came back after dinner in the evenings and had a dip in the pool under the stars! The staff here are lovely and attentive and any issues they would happily resolve. We really appreciated the touch of the free bike hire too!

Perfect romantic gateway for couples to rejuvenate their relations”
Palmeto is beautifully quiet place surrounded by palm trees all 10 bungalows are great compact to ignite your desires, serene view of a pool with pretty nature around, open air bathroom, free bicycles are great way to wander around, couple of great must try food joints like vegan pituq very nearby, breakfast only they serve and it’s made per your order, great all boys staff humble and attentive, main beach is far from palmeto but with cycle it’s fun to explore! Great place loved it

Customer Service was Superb! ”
Such a nice cute little resort and the most amazing staff that tend to your every need. They're very personable. The only thing is that it is located about 30 min walk away from the harbour where the night life scene is so you need to take a horse cart. However, it was not that big of a deal for me and my friends since we got a bit tired of the noisy and packed harbor scene. Palmeto is perfect since it is quieter and peaceful. Loved this resort, would definitely consider coming back!!! The value is so great!

We had a very pleasent stay at Palmeto. It is located inside the island, but Palmeto has free bicycles that you cant use, so it is very easy to get around. We stayed in their double room, it was small but had all we needed. The complementary breakfast was very nice and you get a lot of food! The staff was extremely nice and helpfull - especially one of the girls in the staff, can't remember her name at the moment, but she was so sweet! One morning she sat with us for breakfast and gave us tips for what to do on the island and just talked with us about everything. All in all we had a great stay at Palmeto and would recommend it to others!

WOW! What a hidden paradise!”
This place I would reccomend to everyone. Gili T has a very busy strip which we hoped we were not on and was pleased to find this delight nestled away from everything but still close by for all needs. The moment you step through the gates of this heavenly walled village homing a few delightful cottages all with gorgeous decor, 4 poster bed, stylish furnishings and a beautiful bathroom, you feel serene and at home. The pool is located inbetween the cottages and is long enough to swim or to chill. With a decked area not only from the cottages but around the pool also. Blooming with beautiful tropical flowers you can truly see the attention to detail the owner has put in. The staff are so helpful and go out of their way. Breakfast in the morning is delicious and well prepared too. Included in the room rate is free bycicle hire which is an added bonus as it's the best way to get around the island. To top it all off this tranquil paradise is ridiculously affordable.

Romantic small hotel”
Palmeto village is recommended for honeymoon couples, we were here with some friends. We enjoy its cosy dwelling quite place. They have friendly and helpful staff. Although it is located far from harbour but they are offering free bikes. It takes 30 minutes to centre of Gili Trawangan. It is recommended to bring small touch since the road is less light. You can explore Gili nature, catch up sunrise and sunset within walk distance to the beach from hotel back road.

Palmeto Village Stay - 3 nights solo traveller”
Booking late, I was able to get a comfortable room at Palmeto village for a very reasonable price for my stay. The hotel location is a little way from the main part of the island, but overall still within riding distance on the complimentary bikes and quiet beaches nearby, as opposed to the bustling main beaches. The staff couldn't do enough and the rooms themselves are very, very cute once inside the complex. From the outside and surrounding areas you do wonder how they have managed to make it so lovely inside. However once inside, the pool and proximity of your room to the pool is great. Very relaxing rooms with wonderful balconies and beds. All the necessities required for a quiet stay. The staff (especially Tarzan!) can't do enough to help you during your stay. Would recommend as a value to money option for solo travelers or couples.
