Good location, modern motel”
enjoyed our stay at the palms motel, just a few minutes walk from the main shopping streets of nelson, also some of the main attractions. also very handy to major supermarket. the room was quite spacious, the motel was relatively new by motel standards and everything was modern and clean. a friendly receptionist assisted with information on how to get to the local attractions and restaurants nearby.
Great location, Clean and comfortable”
We booked a 3 night stay here in a 1 bedroom apartment and enjoyed our stay. Great location within easy walking distance of everything and a supermarket on your door step which is useful for a self catering style apartment. Only saw the staff at check in and check out who was very pleasant. We had a bit of rain there and the motel had umbrellas available to use which we were very grateful for. Overall a nice experience in both Nelson and the Palm Motel.

The Palms Motel in Nelson was easy to find which I found a real benefit as I had only a vague idea of where exactly in Nelson's city centre it was located. I had to interrupt the hosts via the night bell following a drive from Christchurch and they made me feel that it was no trouble to them. The room in which I stayed was very comfortable. Thank you, Palms Motel.

The place is only 100 meters from the city centre. There is a grocery right outside the motel. We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment. The room was very clean and spacious. I would stay here again when I am back in Nelson.

Was greeted with a warm welcome , Helped me with all my questions such as how much would a taxi cost from here to here :0) Told me the best places to eat in town and informed me of full menu's in my room place guide ! Loved the big bathroom Sky T.V it was lovely staying at the palms Helped make my Sister's birthday amazing and a great time out away from the stressful life living in CDB christchurch at the moment will stay at the palms again in December

nice motel, close to the city centre. a short walk to the saterday market which is worth a visit. clean and tidy rooms for a comfortable stay. it has a good range of room sizes and costs which are suitable for families. nice swimming pool for the summer months. in each room they have a great guide for eating and tourist spots to visit. great service with a smile.

Palms was pleasant and comfortable, staff very helpful and polite, the only point my partner and I were disappointed in was the inferior quality of the bedding, in particular the sheets which were perhaps not even cotton and not at all comfortable.
