Value for money, Better than Expected!”
This is the best value for money resort i have had the pleasure to stay in; and i have been to many island and beach resorts, including pulau perhentian, pulau tioman, gem island, pulau lang tengah, tanjong jara, and gold coast sepang. None come close the value for money that Pandan Beach resort offer. The beach view is breathtakingly beautiful, but what surprised me was that there no people at all on the beach. Privacy at the beach is great. You could spend at RM700 per night(including boat ride fee) to not-so-clean island resorts room OR you could spend RM150 per night for a very clean and well maintained family room here at Pandan Beach Resort. For the cheap price, I expected a run down resort. Man i was so wrong. Trust me, you wont regret staying here

fantastic stay, great priced, great location!”
my stay was great. it started out a bit bumpy as my bus driver from kauntan dropped me off about an hour and half away in merang..not marang but i arrived safely the next day with no problem in change of reservation last minute. i was wildly surprised how accomdating and amazingly nice the staff was. it was like i had a personal assistant to alleviate any headache that could of come up. they even offered to drive me to dinner and the market anytime i needed. the location was fantastic, big beautiful empty beach along a nice road to have a run along. great place to get to redang and perenthain islands as well again they will book all that for you as well. great and wonderful staff!! so helpful and gracious. not only that but i booked a backpacker room and after backpacking asia for 4 months, this was a treat. own big queen bed, clean bathroom, ac, kettle, water and coffee. fantastic. all is all wonderful and would recommend!

basic, relaxed, enjoyable stay”
overall was a good experience. its very near to merang jetty. surrounding of the area is very quiet. you would need your own transport to get to nearby places for food as there isnt any restaurant inside the resort. the owner was very helpful and drove us to nearby restaurant. beach was perfect! room was spacious and clean. only problem was probably the sewage problem which caused the toilet bowl area to stink. management should look into it.

Long stretch private beach, crystal clear blue water, peaceful environment..We love everything about this resort. It's a small resort, family oriented resort. They don't have restaurant onsite, but there're small local restaurant nearby-walking distance. They can arranged small fishing trip, bbq, island hoping..but you'll need to inform them earlier. Perfect place to hide out from hustle and bustle of the city. We tried fireflies watching tour with them, and it was amazing! The cheapest in town! Less light pollution in the area give a starry dark sky, good for the stargazers. Will come back for our next trip..:)

The room was very clean and cozy, owner was very helpful and responsive, he even fetch us to Merang jetty the following morning. Location wise it's very distant from shoplots so for those who do not have your own transport it's recommended to have your meal before you come here.

Relaxation, Sweet, and Home-like”
It was one of my best travelling experiences. Our flight was 8 pm and we called up the hosts to pick us up at the airport. They turned out to be a very friendly and helpful couple. Since their resort is still expanding, they don't have dining places for guests,however, they are willing to take us out and introduce local food to us. We spent a relaxing and joyful day by the beach and it was one of our best trips ever. We really enjoyed being around this cute couple. Hopefully everything will go well with them and their gorgeous resort.Will miss you staff

Exceeded expectations”
The resort was a little hard to find but that was it's only real fault. Rooms were clean, the beach was lovely, many little comforts in the rooms (kettle, coffee, Disney channel on TV) made us think we were at a three star hotel or better. A truly excellent value for the small price.

i stayed in this resort for 2 nights with my mom. we went to the resort from bus station of Kuala Terengganu, and the bus driver dropped us at this resort. we lived in a small but clean house and we had a great time on the beach. the staffs there are very nice,driving us to Friday market and for dinner.

Nice accomodation, beautiful situated at beach”
We booked this resort for one night, before going to the island from Merang. This is a perfect place to stay, also for more nights. Situated directly at the long and clean beach. Good swimming! The staff was very friendly and helpful! It is situated some km's from Merang and has no eating facilities itself. Since we had no own transport, we were brought to and picked from a nearby restaurant for dinner. Nice local food.

Great stay -Excellent staff and amazing beach!!”
We had a great 3 night stay. We had no car and the owner was extremely accommodating getting us to a restaurant each night for dinner. He definitely went above and beyond our expectations. Most places to get a bite to eat were a couple of kms up the road, but there are also small basic restaurants right near the hotel. Either way it's all within walking distance on a barely used road which runs parallel to the main road, so you're not walking with the traffic. The chalets are extremely comfortable and this made for a relaxing stay. We took a sea view chalet which put us away from the main road and towards the beach. The beach is stunning, a great beach for kids to swim and play as it's very calm and safe. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to experience quiet town life in Malaysia by a beautiful beach. FYI. If you don't have a car the public bus running from KT to kuala Besut will stop On the main road right outside the resort if requested.

a nice village house stay ”
it's a big wooden house w big out side balcony, its not easy to maintain this wooden house, appreciate it, but those city folks like shining concrete/tiles room will not appreciate it... the extra point is the perfumed clean bed sheet even my wife love it, but the lighting is too dim esp toilet, its a hard feeling dull night, fortunately we got a nice movie to watch, its only <10min drive to merang jeti. u can try a fry seafood 5min from resort, w coconut drink

Small Town Great Resort”
On our way to lang tengah island and spent 2 nights here. Beautiful beach was steps away. Had no complaints with clean rooms, cold AC, clean working bathroom with cold/hot shower but a lot of mosquitoes outside the room. They provide bug sprays and mosquito coils. A family owned resort very friendly staff and helpful with local info. Has an outdoor cooking/BBQ facility.

I was going up North to K.B as already late in the Evening in K.T, i found this, so i pack my own breakfast and it is out of town When i reach already 10pm and the Person In Charges drive out to give me key The place really so comfortable and cosy with nice smelling in the room, it is quite and got a very nice clean beach The Place full of tree and a very nice place to have a vacation here

The resort a little far away from the airport and the city,airport to the resort's one-way fare,but the boss Wan and his wife to the airport to pick me personally.They drove me to the restaurants,city,famous attractions and show me round the resort,help me to bought a phone card.I am glad to get to know them.
