Great view but.....
View, friendly staff, lovely pool
Lovely view & friendly staff, but rooms not mosquito proof as slats on doors on windows and no fly screen. Large huntsman spider in room. No staff on premises overnight, safe in room not bolted down so therefore not secure

The reviews do not reflect this hotel!
The rooms were quite nice. The pool was nice.
First off let me advise I love Bali and its hospitality.. We arrived to find absolutely no one in sight. After 10 minutes we found 2 girls sitting on the floor in the kitchen up about 5 sets of stairs we asked to check in and were walked to a room and left there. No name was taken nothing was explained we were stuck. The hotel Itself was quite good for the price however the service was rubbish as it was non existent I asked for a scooter and the girl said ok 1 scooter walked back out 15 minutes later and she was sitting on the kitchen floor again. They had zero English we had to speak to someone else on their phone to organize transport to another hotel that actually had some service. So all in all the facilities aren't bad, you will need a scooter if you want to do anything. But the staff service was non existent and on an island where if you aren't familiar you will be asking for help, you will not get it here.

Ok but not that great
The view from the restaurant/upper pool area. Sitting area in front of the room. AC
Started with the staff staring at me and not saying anything about my room. I decided to eat something and then had to request to be escorted to the room. Food was mediocre. I rented a scooter from them at a higher rate than that which is offered in town + gas, (though they promised it was equivalent) and i still had to pay for gas (layer it was "not included"). The brakes weren't functioning properly and it made that squeezing/rubbing sound that brakes make when they are in serious need of repair - it had no mirrors. The bedding had fleas upon my arrival, when I asked them to change it the response was "no there aren't". The attendant proceed to shake the sheets, lift the mattress and say "see no fleas" (I had seen and killed 4-5). I had to request them to be changed twice during this encounter. Overall mine experience at a "3 star hotel".

DISHONNESTY FOURBERIE AND UNSUCRUPULOUSNESS
After a small altercation with the staff (a man) urging us to leave earlier than necessary, he lied in front of us (we talk indo) to the boat company organizing hotel pick up in order for us to miss the boat back to Sanur. We managed to pick up the boat but leave the hotel with a great feeling of sadness as we suffered from such a nasty behaviour.

Quiet Relazing retreat
Cosy boutique hotel, great food and friendly attentive staff
It was a really nice retreat. We had a room that was blocked by foliage and it was a cosy corner just in front of the pool. You would probably meet the resident gecko in the room but its a thatched roof so its inevitable. The hotel is on a hill and you would have to walk a distance from the main path to get back up. Highly suggest renting a motorbike to get around. Hotel staff are able to arrange motorbike hire and tour packages for you as well. Its very convenient. Great place to star gaze and watch sunsets. The infinity pool looks out to the bay and you can see Mt Agung on the other side of the island on a clear day. Only downside during our stay were the noisy family staying next to our room. Kids would be up at 6am and cannonballing into the pool which was just outside. Just our luck I suppose. There was a slight stench outside our room (smelt like baby puke or a rotting animal) but we were not too fussed about it after the air con was switched on and mosquitoe coil was burnt at night. Big compliments to the hotel chef. Our dinners were really tasty and serving sizes were adequate. The Fish Lilit, beef rendang and Pepes were very tasty and flavourful. Hotel staff were very attentive and looked into our requests very quickly. Note for light sleepers, bring along eye masks as the room is quite bright in the day. There are only louver windows and it doesnt block out much light. Overall it was a great retreat and I would go back again.

Disgusting Dirty and out of the way
the view and the pool
Awful There is a very steep and long drive which you can only get your luggage up by yourself and with the staffs help who could not have winged more even thou I tipped them all generously. The rooms were to say the least average but it was a cheap hotel (should be listed as a backpackers) the aircon barely worked the fan didn't at all. We went with My Brother in law and his family which included three small children. They had no hot water, towels with holes in them and excrement on them it was putrid. The food was awful and my sister in law ended up very ill from her meal. They had an extensive wine list but only had three bottles of wine all of which were opened and off. You could not even get a soft drink after 8pm because all the staff were gone and didn't turn up till around 7.30 there were flies all around the food prep area just the thought of it makes me ill. We paid for eight nights and stayed for two. It was that bad. I would not recommend this hotel to families at all it is best suited to surfers who don't mind roughing it a bit. I would never go back and never recommend it.
