Excellent”
i would go again to this place if im going island hopping and i would like to go to the beach. it is a little bit far from the airport . transportation cost from airport to the place is quite expensive. you have to hire a van for 600 to 900 pesos and /or a pedicab for 250 to 300 pesos. the staff and the owner are very helpful and accomodating. there are many ants though that went into my room since there are plenty of plants around.

Acceptable”
The place wasn't properly maintained considering that it's operating for less than 7 years! The swimming pool water was looking murky, hence we never swam. When you go to the non air conditioned rooms your view will be a huge piggery (hence the stench!). Most of the Filipina staff are friendly though. Sadly, as a family we have decided this will be our last in this resort.

Good budget option 10 minutes from the beach”
During the week this is a very calm, quiet resort with a nice pool and friendly staff. On the weekends it fills up with a lot of families, which makes it louder and busier, but also fun, if you like high-energy. Good breakfast, easy to find, and nice dorm rooms. 10 minute walk to the beach.

Hidden gem”
We stayed for 7 nights and were very happy with our choice. The huts are big, clean and unique. The breakfast was included and although only 2 choices, was tasty. Unfortunately, the food & drinks menu was very limited. If this was improved, the resort would be excellent. Not many places to eat close by (we did find lovely little place down the hill and to the right called 'Yuken Mari' which is set right on the beach and the food was great). A further walk along the beach and you will find some resorts to eat and use the water sports facilities. Previous reviewers have commented that the pool was dirty, but that was due to the beautiful trees and vegetation that makes this place so charming. It was clean every morning and the water was crystal clear. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Hiring a motorbike is highly advised to get to the nearest convenience store and Alona Beach with many restaurants and ATM's. Wifi not consistant but this is common in the Philippines.

All good”
White beach just five minutes a walk. Great breakfest (had just americans) restrooms ok, bed is comfortable, no aircondition but its better (especially when u stayin with asians). Can book a tour or rent a motorbike. Pool table and swimming pool. Wifi is goin well but only at lobby. Buy a mosquito spray. Personal is helpfull but not really all of them. If u wanna party, need to take a mototaxi to Alona, this is a quiet part.

Was nice place to stay, the room was big and cozy. We didn’t have WiFi in the room. The Pillows were a joke and the toilet was some dirty. The farm beside, the animals were noisy.

A Cozy Rooms”
The toilet of the room was not that clean and the toilet haven’t a cover for sit down. Also the pillows were really bad. A pros thing was the room very cozy and comfortable. WiFi was just in the common area and no in the room :( The crew: was depending their mood the way to answer us.

All in all a lovely stay!”
Very happy and friendly hosts! They were singing all the time and were very kind. Breakfast was included, you had the choice between American and Filipino breakfast. By scooter it was just a few minutes to come to dumaluan beach. You have to pay around 50 pesos for entry. The only things that made me angry, were the pigs and taps that made noises the hole night just next to us. And I didn't like Charing a bathroom with your neighbors... The rest was perfect!

Staff not friendly at all and food ”
We stayed one week and the staff is not smiling at all, they were nice only one morning when the manager was here. When he was here, everybody was smiling, waving, saying good morning and the breakfast was served very quickly.....the other days, no smile, no waving, breakfast served when they finished to discuss on Facebook.... One morning, there was a customer asking to cook more the eggs because they were almost raw, the waitress refused saying the eggs are cooked like that in the resort.....What else to say.....The swimming pool is dirty, very dirty, there are always 5 employees there and nobody cares about it......... the food is chemical sausage, ham, it's cheap but the quality is very cheap too...bottles of water 50cl at 50 pesos.......Normally you can eat until 9pm, we tried to eat at 8:15pm and they answered the kitchen was closed....Karaoke is until 7pm because afterwards they watched TV and they don't like to be disturbed......There is also one of them who take care of the farm behind and at 6am, he starts working so if you are lucky, he wouldn't do a lot of noise.....It's a pity because this resort is beautiful and could be something really better with a better staff and a better food....

VALUE FOR MONEY IT IS!”
We stayed for 3 days and two nights in their suite just by the pool and it was really huge. The air conditioning works well but there is also a fan that you can use. We ended up using the fan as it was quite cold at night since the room was surrounded by trees. There is a safety box in the room where you can keep your valuables. The staff were so accommodating to our requests. We called to check if we can do an early check in as we arrived earlier at Tagbilaran Port earlier than expected and they let us in. We rented their motorbike for 1 day but asked for a few hours extension as we have not yet consumed the gas we bought and they were okay with it. As I work online with a Canadian client, I had to stay late at their hall to use their wifi and the staff stayed until I finished which was already very late at night. We asked for mineral water refills several times but they'd always give us sealed bottled water at no extra fee. The breakfast was just so-so but for the price we paid, it was more than what we expected. The pool is actually bigger than how it looks in the photos. As for the location, the resort is far from Alona Beach approximately 15 minutes by motorbike but it is very near to White Sand Beach and less than 10-minute motorbike ride to Dimuluan Beach.
