The best way to escape the busy city and crowded beaches..”
The place is a little bit far from alona but it has its own beach , danao. Plus it has its pool where u can also dive in. It is deep. The restaurant serves delicious meals. I like the Bam-I as well as Bangus. Very yum! You can find instagramable sceneries here..

Fantastic! ”
The staff was lovely! This was just far enough away from the craziness of Alona Beach. We had a great room with private bathroom and hot water! Steps away from a nice, clean pool. Steps from the restaurant with brewed coffee. Right on the beach. We booked a very cheap private boat trip for island hopping and snorkeling. Lots of restaurants within a short skooter ride. I was sad to leave!

Older style resort on the beach”
Older style resort, on the beach, has place to eat on site, but other option nearby. Rooms are basic, older kind of air-con, staff are generally helpful, and reception can book transport and other things. Swimming pool is nice and deep. Breakfast a little basic. Has a dive operation on site.

A pretty small resort away from the noise of Alona Beach.”
Really impressed with this well maintained and manicured resort. Nice quiet location with a nice beach view, pleasant common areas and a pool. Rooms are comfortable and cleaned daily. About 6 minutes to Alona Beach by scooter. Recommend going to the Pearl Restaurant across the road to even to just see the best sunsets on the island. Will definitely go back and highly recommended.

Just quiet.....in a land far far away .......”
Our resident driver Rene is a awesome. From pick up at the Tagbilaran Seaport to our countryside trip and to the resort. He very entertaining. He know when to open and closes his mouth to let us enjoy the scenery. He is very patient. If there is one reason to go back to panglao it is because of him....He can recommend places, eats, bars everything and anything about panglao and tagbilaran. NOW for the resort. Price of Food is not reasonable. When we went inside the our room (which bigger than I expected, thank you) we already have a visitor inside the bathroom. The night after it was different visitor so we have to borrow an insect killer. The resort is far from the main road. But very quiet, peaceful. Just too far from alona beach which is okay. I can recommend to friends who are more of reclusive type. Not good for part goers or wanted a different beach life. Transpor from the resort to Tagbilaran offered by this resort is Php 600.00 + 4% if you charge it to credit card.

The place is a little bit far but it was worth the trip. Very peaceful and good for relaxing. Clean room. Fast wifi. Pool was just infront of the room! The only problem was the food if they can improve it a little bit. I will stay here again!

Good place to stay as long as you don't want to be in the middle of everything, but it is still only ten minute trike ride from Alona beach happenings. Nice little pool and great staff.

Quiet Beachfront and Friendly Staff”
It's about 2.2km away from Panglao town center. It's great if you can ride a scooter / motorbike and just rent it while your stay. The resort has a beach front and is usually quiet unlike Alona Beach. The staff are very accommodating and helpful in our inquiries regarding tours and transportation.

Pool, Restaurant, Lazy Chairs by the beach
We we're disappointed to find out the beach was unswimmable but the pool made up for it. During lowtides in the afternoon, I encourage you to explore the swamp as you will see different kinds of sea water creatures. Our Villa was tastefully decorated too. Air-conditioning took awhile to cool. Eventhough it was on an isolated area, their restaurant had a wide variety on their menu. Try their squid sisig, it's fantastic! We will definitely be coming back!

Nice Isolated spot”
view, pool, rooms
We stayed here for a week. It was great for our son because they have a really nice pool. There is a kids section as well a nice adult pool (2m+ deep!). The staff were really helpful and friendly and we loved the environment. Our villa was very nice though the AC units were very old fashioned and the kitchen was mid renovation (we were early for the season). A few things to keep in mind when you deciding if you want to stay here: It is not a high end resort. It is nice for the price but it is not as groomed as some other places on the island. The food is fine for the price but it is not luxury fare. It is isolated. Alona beach is 5-10 min drive away and nearby there is really only Leneo Resort nearby to walk to. That said Leneo has great food and is only a bit more expensive than here. The beach is very shallow. It has a beautiful view but it is not good for swimming off of. Keep in mind Alona isn't great either though because of all the boat traffic. For Diving go to Equation diving just past Leneo on the beach (to your right) Carole and her crew were great and was also giving better rates on some of the tours available for the island. All in all we were very happy with our time here and would recommend it to anyone not requiring the full resort experience.

The food is really delicious. Their swimming pool is nice.
Our stay went good. The room has value for money. They have nice staff. The beach is not good for swimming. They offered us sea tour but their boat is not in condition which stopped 3 times while we are in the middle of the sea.

Great Pool with kiddie pool and 8ft spot for diving
Their service is great. They help us in everything we need - even contacting a tricycle for us to visit Alona Beach. They have a great room for a small family like us - nice pool. Though the beach is not good to swim because of the sea grass like.

We thought this place was great!”
Economical, natural beauty, small but roomy
we love this place and plan to go back again. it has the natural beauty of the philippine landscape, not fake like some of the bigger hotels. the employees were great too very friendly and helpful. food was great. really nice layout with a great private beach. nice pool area too. room rate was the lowest in area but well worth more than what we paid. hotel is secluded and "off the road" so privacy and quietness was a plus.

Nice place, quiet and simple”
Staff very nice, location good if you want to just relax
the location is nice, away from hussle of the cities. staff very friendly and accommodating. rooms were clean and cleaned every other day. menu at restaurant/bar was adequate. pool and grounds were nice and clean and well kept. there is a dive shop right beside the villas. the driver we had for tours was very nice and welling to do whatever we wanted to do or where ever we wanted to go. the dolphin watching and island hopping is now one tour. be sure you understand all the cost before leaving for the snorkeling, it was a bit confusing. alona beach is near by with many restaurants and small shops. dive shops here are more expensive so compare the prices. it was a nice relaxing place to be mainly because there was not many people there. if there had been more maybe different. many beautiful sunsets to remember.

Dirty, unsanitary and health hazard!”
My husband and I booked for 4 days and 3 nights in a room facing the ocean. The sink has broken pipes where the water drops directly to the floor, the shower was broken and the tiles had a lot of mildews you don't want to touch anything inside the bathroom. We were supposed to be moved to a second room but the airconditioner was not working and we refused. We were moved to another room and was terrified with the almost hundreds of beetles and insects at the bathroom ceiling. We were again moved the 4th time and this was already midnight after we got back from our dinner at Alona. Alona Beach is quiet far too. The room looks nice but deceiving. This time there were many mosquitos and the faucet water was rusty. The food also was not good. The beach is dirty. Most websites are really deceiving. I don't recommend this so- called resort.
