Superb Property”
We stayed there for 3 nights. Property is located very near to the main market and exactly opposite to the Victoria garden. Rooms are clean and tidy. A little issue with the bathroom bathing area. Staff is friendly and helpful.

I booked through Agoda.com for 2 Adults and 2 kids [4y, 6y] on the same day, once I go there they are not aware of my reservation. Unfortunately, I have reserved a Double Deluxe Room, which is not enough for us. Finally, I had to pay an extra amount to change it for Triple Room. But the only option of making the payment is cash. No room heaters, which is the most important in the Nuwara Eliya Area specially with young kids.

Hotel is good value for money, very central location. However facilities are very basic, can improve in that. There was no wifi in the room, which was very upsetting. No fridge in the room Too many stairs with no lift But staff was very helpful

An Overrated Hotel”
It was certainly not a pleasant experience as the property was overrated – it was more of a building than a hotel. The essentials required in a Deluxe room were missing, difficult to reach to the hotel management as mostly there was no one available at the front desk. Despite a very cold weather, there was no arrangement for heaters, fireplace, TV with bad cable quality, no telephone, no tour, lousy breakfast, restaurant serving Pizza only, only 02 hotel staff with limited access, etc.

Room was huge but very very dirty. Loads of bugs and spider webs, ceiling is obviously grey and torn. No amenities provided except a grey looking towel. Noisy at night, neighbouring rooms were partying at their balcony till late and we could also hear people talking/walking at the corridor. The only good thing was the hotel staff - Robertson tries his best to help all the guests and he was the only staff available over the 2 days that we were there.
