Relaxing beach resort”
The resort it's even better than in pictures. Staff is extremely polite and helpful. They can help with renting a motorbike/car, booking trips and taxis. If you are looking for a resort where you just want to relax in front of the beach, this is the place, the sunsets from here were amazing, with the sun just going down on top of the hill with the Big Buddah. Breakfast was very nice, the selection of pastries and homemade bread, not the mention the homemade jams (to die for). I would say that the restaurant on site was not the most authentic thai cuisine, so we always opted for the restaurant nearby, on the beach, super cheap and nice. If you really to buy a couple of things, there is a 7eleven 7mins from the resorts, you can walk to it, but you are far away from everything. Highly raccomend if you have lready visited the touristic places and you just want to relax.
We visited Panwa Boutique Beach hotel February 2019, after a detour away from alternate accommodation which proved to be awful on arrival. The staff are extremely helpful and took a lot of time to assist us in resolving booking issues experienced using Agoda. The hotel itself is in a sublime location, with great beach access, clean rooms and a quiet chilled out feel. It's perhaps not the newest hotel on the block, but it is beautiful and kept sparklingly clean. Definitely recommended!
Nice hotel. Great service. good breakfast.Value for money. ”
Service from staff is very excellent. I got room with nice view. recommend!!! really value for money.
Room was ok; Staff was very friendly and very helpfull. Also breakfast was basic but sufficient.”
New Year's eve dinner was finished before the countdown because no people. I think many customers cancelled last minute. The food was good but for us there was a misunderstanding; my wife can't eat mussels but all the rest of the seafood is no problem. The staff onle served her meat. But in general we were satisfied.
Paradise setting , stunning pool and beach”
Beautiful still modern hotel with large rooms , Located on a quite beach where you can have dinner at a restaurant on the sand , magic setting and very clean ,no crouds and very romantic. The pool is first class and very clean . We had a motorbike so getting around was easy and lots of scenic places to explore in the area. A 5min ride takes you to shops and restaurants in the area ,10 min to the aquarium, you can go to some close islands in a long boat , highly recommend. Staff are very helpful and the reception and manager speak good English . Booked 3 nights and extended and stayed 6 , we did not want to leave , Thanks we really enjoyed our stay. Micheal Gualtieri
A cut above the rest”
Lovely resort on a quiet stretch of beach south of Phuket. Visited in high season, the beach and area around was very quiet. Idyllic. Hotel was more than I expected, a cut above other mid range hotels. Brilliant staff (all), mainly good wifi, good pool, excellent breakfast, cleanest beach in a populated area that I have ever visited, no polystyrene food containers or plastic bottles etc etc, nice beach view room with good shower, full bath, balcony, comfy bed, good TV and air con. A couple of local beach fronting restaurants next door that serve good food at a good price. The Beach Restaurant serves excellent food at street food prices. Downside is poor swimming at low tide as very rocky but there is a great pool so no bother. Taxi service is hit and miss, wouldn't take me to Patong as I was solo and two is the minimum. Similar re trip to Phuket, booked for 11.00am waited until 11.30am, no service. The hotel should provide this service rather than outsource. Obviously this issue only affects solo travellers. The cost of airport transfer one way at 900thb (42.3 kilometres = 21.33b per kilometre) is high and compares with 212thb (22.4 kilometre = 9.46b per kilometre) journey by taxi from Dom Meuang to central Bangkok. Leaves you thinking you have been exploited. A shame that this is the last transaction at the hotel and is the lasting memory. For transport reasons I will NOT revisit this hotel. I really think the hotel should run a shuttle a couple of times a day or so on a free basis or they risk return business not happening. Quiet is good but so is the opportunity to visit town. Excluding transport issues I would have rated Panwan Beach resort at 4+
Beautiful, memorable stay”
I was travelling with my daughter. We had booked two spacious sea-facing rooms and they were beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to organise all our sight-seeing and activities through the resort. A beautiful place to come back to.
Great hotel with private beach”
The private beach was definitely the feature that I was looking for and received it. The water was not so clear but okay. Panwa is very quiet, perfect for people who are not into parties and night life. Hard to get transportation though. Far from the city, transport is more expensive than in the city. The Deluxe Beach Front room is soooo beautiful; 1 living room, 1 bathroom, 1 bedroom all with windows to sea view. Staffs are great. Food is great. Swimming pool is great with sea view too.
I booked a sea view hotel but got a room without the sea view, although in the sea view building. The hotel bumped us to a beach front room, which was so amazing we decided to stay a few more days there. Staffs are very friendly. Food is great. Beach is fantastic. The transport: Since this hotel is kinda secluded and far from city, the transportation costs a bit much.
Great view, peace and quiet”
Overall is very good. It is a great place to relax with a beautiful beach and swimming pool. Location is far from main road so you should go by own car otherwise you have to pay extra for car rental to go other places.
Very nice hotel and extremely friendly staff”
We had a great stay at the Panwa Boutique resort. The location is just perfect. Also the breakfast was very nice and so was the staff. One minor point was that on day 3/5 a very big group of gentlemen arrived who actually took over the hotel. The hotel was just not set for this in my opinion. The group was drinking at the pool and being quite loud. As a result the other guests avoided being at the pool. My 3 year old daughter was swimming in between drinking and screaming guys what made it rather uncomfortable. they were also playing their own music loudly. I recommend renting a car, like we did, as the location is rather remote, which in essence is a plus. However if you want to get around easily a car would be ideal.
Great hotel for the price”
Great hotel in a peaceful area of Phuket, lovely setting & a great sunset view from the hotel pool. Near to the hotel (walk 2 mins along the beach) are a couple of great Thai restaurants set on the beach. We went there every night for food, would definitely recommend this hotel.
Wonderful services in a very quiet and peaceful resort. ”
The resort is located in a area that is away from any city or fast paced area. The rooms are modern, hygienic and spacious. The staff are friendly and polite and attempt to take care of all one's needs. It's a great resort if you want to get away and relax.
Resting your mind and soul”
love it here at first step. Staff at reception is very kind and giving us a good attitude. kids are fun, peaceful - private , staff is all great attitude. Love shower room is huge and kids love it to enjoy after the sea. for me , price is reasonable n good to have quiet time with family.
Not such a bad place for a chilled out Holiday.”
Panwa Boutique Beach Resort, well I am not so sure about the boutique part as it is getting to the stage where it needs some refurbishment done in saying that the location for a relaxing chilled holiday is superb the staff are lovely. Some ideas from me to management, ceiling fans above the beds would be a good idea save money by having the guest turn off the air con helps one get to sleep better as well, the spa is just way to expensive hence why no one goes there, a shuttle bus service into Phuket Old town twice a day would assist you as you are a fair way out from any shopping. Overall my family had a superb pleasant stay. The beach restaurant right on the beach loved it great food and so cheap we tried a few other places to eat and the beach come out on top, great for sunsets as well
A venue for peace and quiet”
Nice quiet hotel, with limited facilities. Needs some upgrading structures looking tired. Shower in room lacks any power needs pump on system to rectify, internet poor which was disappointing as that is an easy fix. The selection at breakfast was limited perhaps due to the seemingly small number of guests. Staff friendly and ever eager to please
Such a great service, good location and very nice atmosphere here. This area is suitable for those who want to relax and chill because it's not crowded at all. Panwa Boutique Beach Resort has made our family trip the most enjoyable and memorable. Thank you :)
Clean room and nice staffs”
The room is clean and staffs are nice. It is a very good place to relax. Location is quite far from the city or any other popular tourist destinations. It is beach front hotel but it is quite rocky, prepare swimming shoes if you would like to go swimming.
Very friendly and helpful staff with good restaurant facilities. Only down sides are no lifts so if your disabled or unfit lots of stairs to climb. And watch out when the tide goes out the beautiful beach becomes rocky and the sea vertualy inaccessible. Little bit out of the way but that's what we wanted although we did hire a car and we're able to get about a bit. Hotel has its own cars not sure if there is a charge though. Overall hotel is value for money with a decent swimming pool and shaded areas on the beach and the view from our 4th floor balcony was breathtaking. We would go again 😎
Very nice hotel”
Some of the facilities looked a bit 'tired' ( two examples ) ie the plastic pool beds were discoloured and many slats cracked so they sagged when sat on, the lock in the room door, the surround was loose both sides, inside and out, the sliding doors to the bathroom were very difficult to close/open ( needing lifting to slide ). Just two of several points too many to mention. Having said that, the location is super, the hotel is still value for money, the staff were superb.
