Find hotels near Panyu District in Guangzhou, China

i stay at this hotel every year as part of my visits to the canton trade fair. the hotel is very new and very clean. staff is very friendly and helpful. hotel is a little bit out of the way in the panyu district and the taxi drivers always have a little difficulty in finding the place. overall i would highly recommend the hotel for anyone visiting the canton fair as they do provide shuttle bus service to the fair location. please note that this hotel has two sections...the actual hotel site and the affiliate apartments. the apartments are not nearly as nice as the hotel and you do have to walk or take a shuttle from the apartments to the main hotel lobby.

We arrived at the Royak Marina Plaza by Metro and it was a short walk across Panyu Square to the hotel. The reception staff immediately booked us in and we were allocated a room that met our requirements. After dropping our bags we retired to the buffet area where we enjoyed an extended evening meal and drinks on the patio overlooking Panyu Square. In the morning breakfast was also taken on the patio before engaging in the day's activities. The room, service and food met my expectations and the family enjoyed our weekend in Guangzhou.

This is a real 5 star hotel, with excellent service. Small thing we don't really like is that we have to pay RMB 30 for 15 minutes internet servic in the business centre. Cmon.. No free internet ? We stayed in the other 5 star hotel in Jinan city, and they supply a computer with a free internet. Oh yeah, this place is a quite bit far from city. Taxi will be a little issue. We have dropped into a taxi station with our luggage because they can't call a taxi. Very strange. Other that that, it was so perfect.

surprisingly, for the price, hotel is clean, modern and bathroom is clean! loved the shower & vanity area. bed is comfortable. we stayed in various hotels in china for business and this one, for the price is very nice. location is not great unless you have to do business in panyu. the room came with free breakfast but the menu is always the same. there is mcdonalds very close so that's an option. would recommend to business travelers.

This hotel needs to change its name to DAYS SUITS as we spent some time in despair feeling we where taken to the wrong location, taxi dropped us along with our LARGE BAGS ON THE MAIN ROAD OF HANXIN ROAD . W e went to the Vienna hotel . My husband went for a walk only to find the hotel out the back door of the Vienna staff denied knowing this hotel existed.. The DAYS INN IS A hugh complex with excellent customer service THE ROOMS are well designed for superior comfor, surrounded by clean restaurants and delivery services. Reception Mr Happy and along with Mr J ASSISTED US WITH OUR ON GOING SERVICE TO THE RAILWAY taking myself to the railway to obtain tickets and then the shuttle back to the railway. .

Very good price for a such city center hotel at the China National Day holiday. My room didn't have window but you didn't feel smelly at all. The room is new and spacious with large flat TV and desktop PC with fast internet speed. All the things is clean even the some cigarette burn on the carpet floor. Large bathroom and provide all necessary personal hygiene product. Definitely will check in again for next trip to Panyu.

Highly recommended for business travels or holiday seekers with small children who are not in any great rush. The hotel is located about 20 odd minutes by taxi away from Guangzhou City center and also has a cheap feeder bus service into the City center. Good and friendly service by the staffs. It's room is very spacious and clean. Has all the basic facilities inside room - LCD TV, internet, telephone, writing table, minibar, safe, umbrella, bath robe, room slippers. A very nice and spacious bath room with separate shower and bath, hair dryer, vanity mirror, etc.. Definitely worth a stay especially if you are not in any great rush to be within the City. Also, right across the hotel is a 7'11 shop and also a large local supermarket and within the compound area of the hotel houses a great deal of authentic Chinese restaurants serving food from a wide variety of dishes from different provinces. However, note that this is NOT a 5 star resort type of area, but certainly 3 to 4 star as for the restaurants surrounding it. Final point, room service might just be a bit disappointing so it's best to eat what you need outside or at the restaurant which serves good Chinese soup or otherwise get ready your instant noodles..Great Place, Great Stay anyway !!!!!!

I couldn't praise this hotel high enough. Staff were brilliant and spoke English. They shuttled me at short notice from the railway station and took me back again the next morning. Cleanliness was 110% and sleeping was v. good. Very close to the station. Couldn't ask for anymore for the reasonable price. This is probably the best report I have ever been able to give about a hotel. You can check my previous reporting history and I tell it as I find it.

This hotel was previously known as "Vagada Hotel" and is located near the Clifford Estates in the Panyu districe south of Guangzhou. I've stayed here previously and I do like the new building and facilities, however it seems the service has gone down since joining the Vienna Hotel group. My gripe from this visit is that I reserved a non-smoking room but none were available, and when I checked in, the woman at the front desk was not helpful at all, throwing my passport around, overall having a bad attitude. Breakfast was the same as before, a paltry selection of food.

Just minutes after I booked the hotel, I went into more detail reading the other guests reviews and I was terrified. I almost tried to cancel but decided that I wouldn’t do that without checking in first and seeing by myself what was going on. And so I did. Besides the fact that the hotel is indeed inside a shopping mall, the girls from the reception don’t speak a word of English, and the manager’s language skills are below 15 per cent, I have to agree that I was very well treated. The room was comfortable, was cleaned every day, the location is good, not so far from the subway station of Dashi, 5 minutes by taxi or motorbike to get to Chimelong Paradise and Safari Park. Also, with the help of “Google Translate” and an iPad and lots of gestures and images, I got all the information I needed from the manager. He wrote me in a paper all the Chinese names of the places I wanted to go to and when I checked out, he even helped me find a taxi (which is not easy in Guangzhou!) carrying my bag for the full length of the hotel’s street till the main road. The Internet connection was perfect and I even managed to watch a direct football match on the Internet without major interruptions or delays. The overall experience was good.

Out ofnthe way Hotel, large rooms, great value for money. Staff was excellent even though only had one person that could speak english, they would put person on the phone if needed. Went out of the way to assist me in buying train ticket! Worked it out and things weren't perfectly. Purchased online for me , picked up at station ticket counter. Suggest traveling with WeChat account in China, desk girl used that to send me copy of ticket that I presented at window for pick up with passport. Can't say enough about the staff help. There is nothing around hotel to see, lots of eating places on outskirts of Guangzhou

We stayed at James Joyce Coffetel Guangzhou South Railway Station for 3 nights with two adults and a 1 0 years old, the size of the room was ok, we got good value for money, breakfast was included. Service is friendly and attentive. The hotel was very close to Chimelong Circus but it's far away from the Guangzhou CBD. Need to take a bus to the nearby train station. Not many good restaurants in the area. Will stay again in future if the price is ok

A very good and clean hotel. However, services and staff are exceptionally bad. only one room key is provided to each room where guest needs to access the central lock. Since these are family rooms on the 4th floow, with only one key, members of family are very inconveince and cannot access if other members are out. Price had been increasing significantly since my last stay around one year ago. Overall, a deteriationg hotel and i wonder I will ever stay again.

First of all, Agoda said, have suttle from airport and bus go to canton fair. but, no. just only have expensive and not friendly car driver. He said, need 300 RMB to pick us up from airport.(FYI, this is discounted price. first price is 350.) And, still He said, need 100 RMB go to fair. Second, Breackfast meal is awful whatever you think, just only some of chinese bun, rice soup, 2 kind of fruit(they didn't sweet.), some of chinese food. really small and simple, and expensive. 28 RMB. And, Air conditioner is too loud. Also, didn't work at all. Front staff isn't good. so slow to work, and didn't say in english well. Please avoid this hotel. So bummer.
