Great place to stay, well worth the money! ”
-Reasonably priced for Phi Phi. -Staff helped us with our bags from the port, after we requested it. -Room was lovely and clean, modern interior. -Great views from the balcony. - Staff really friendly and helpful. -Bed comfortable although a little hard. -Only con to staying here was the steep steps to climb up to your room, we were on the top floor, so lots of steps to climb. We didn’t mind it as it was a good workout, however people less able may find this a struggle. -location good as close to the centre and beaches and very close to the viewpoint, but still set back enough not to be disrupted by the hustle and bustle of Phi Phi.

Lovely Experience”
Stayed 8 nights in the superior ocean view room in July/August Pros: Extremely sweet lady at the front desk, beautiful view, strong AC, we never saw a single bug in the room, well decorated and homey rooms, and 2 free bottles of water for every day of your stay. Con: The cleaners should replace toilet paper when they clean the rooms. We could’ve just asked for more at the front desk, but we just kept forgetting.

Good value for the area. I stayed in the garden view room. Room has excellent A/C and bed is comfortable. Staff is friendly. Avoid this place if you’re unfit or frail. There are many steps you will need to climb. Personally I liked the workout but I couldn’t do it if I was 70 years old. I enjoyed it so much that I extended my stay.

Great little place to stay on the hill. Not far from the famous Viewpoint. Away from the noise of the beach parties held at the hostel properties. Staff changed sheets and tidied the room every day at request. They were all friendly and welcoming. Recommend Papaya Phi Phi highly.

Coolest view of the ocean on both beaches. ”
I loved loved loved the view! With big windows. People in reviews complained the climb up, but hey you can't get a view like that without having to go up! And it's good exercise, I didn't mind one bit. It's off the party scene, but you can here a little bit, but not so much that it bothers. The walls how ever were paper-thin, so you can here your neighbours talking really well. Shower pressure was really bad. But it's been a really dry season (my stay was in march) and the hotel is guite high, so it's understandable. Nice staff, really sweet lady at the reseption. Again the view is so coool! Woukd recommend this 10/10.

Pros - lovely staf - clean and big rooms with a nice shower - amazing view - cheap minibar Cons A lot of stairs, especially when it’s hot.. But if you want a nice view you have to walk up some stairs anyway!! We stayed in other places in Koh Phi Phi but this was definitely our favourite. We booked for 2 nights but immediately after our arrival we booked another 2 nights here!

Great view from the balcony, we were pretty high up but if stairs are not a problem for you, is totally worth it. I guess you can also request a room that is a bit lower down. There are little cheeky monkeys visiting you in the balcony, don’t let them in and don’t feed them!!

Pleasant Stay with beautiful Views”
Good hotel with some good views. Quite place, but little far from pier. Staff is excellent and very much supportive helpful. No Hot breakfast possible in the property. Luggage transfer free of cost by hotel to and from pier.

Location is good - great view, quiet - don't hear party noise. It takes only 7 min. to get to the pier. Really hard to get upsteirs on the day heat. However, climbing up to the room is a great fitness.

Nothing bad I can say apart from the gruelling walk up every time but it’s worth waking up to that view everyday as well as watching the sunset from the balcony/room. Perfect for couples as well definitely recommend.

Beautiful views- worth the climb!”
The perfect basic place to stay while in Phi Phi. Close to the lookout entrance. Near wonderful restaurants. Less than 10 minute walk to the beach. And fantastic views from our balcony (even the ‘garden view’ looked out at the town and beaches). Definitely worth the climb. But NOT suitable for people with walking or breathing difficulties as there are a lot of stairs even to the lobby.

Nice place, clean, they give you lots of bottled water in the fridge, have a balcony, safe, shower is decent, air con is very good. Our room was the on the highest level, so had amazing views of both coast lines. HOWEVER, we had to climb 214 steps (yes we counted) every time we wanted to return to our room, which can be exhausting in the heat and not welcomed after a long day. We weren’t aware of this when booking so maybe this review will help someone out. If you’re ok with this, then book here. Just pray for a lower floor.

It was what I expected. Happy to have a balcony and be close to everything. The stairs could be the deciding factor as it has quite some steps, mix that with the hot weather? We were fine but if you're out of shape, then might be good idea to look elsewhere. Otherwise I'd recommend.

- You need to climb a lot of stairs but it's a nice excercise. - Beware of monkeys during breakfast time. - 10 mins walk to the beach and 15 mins to the port. - The same breakfast every day (yogurt with müsli, small bagette and a jam, tea or instant coffee).
