The location is very convenient since it is just along the highway especially if you arrive in Kalibo late in the evening.

Papierus Pensionne has a good strategic location. You dont have to worry where to eat, at the ground floor lies 7-11 convenience store and just walk around 30meteres and a stretch of Restaurants can be seen! These restaurants/canteens sell fruits too and their food tastes delicious. Rooms at Papierus are clean, neat and they have hot and cold shower. they provide toiletries too. They are called Papierus Pensionne because they manufacture papers that they turn their rooms into paper designs. They have a public area where you can relax. I think this is a family business and their kids manage the reception and provide us tips where to eat/go. They are nice people. I will surely be back here when at Kalibo. Thank you!
Close to Airport”
I have stayed 2 times already at Papierus Pensionne in Kalibo and friends have also made several visits. While it is a more basic facility, it ticks the fundamentals for me in that it is very close to the airport and cheap, safe and the staff were excellent. It is not a "resort" hotel, and I use it to stopover when flying into Panay as the flights invariably out of Manila are always late, and I cannot get land transport out of Kalibo. Or flying out to get the earliest plane, I use the hotel to stay the night before flying.

This is already my second time in Papierus Pensionne. They recently expanded and was glad to see that the front office is now brighter than before. There’s a 7-11 just a few steps away from the place. It is only 5 mins from Kalibo Airport. Will stay here again if we go to Kalibo.

We stayed here for 1 day after Boracay to go to Bakhawan Eco Park. the place is Neat and has exotic feels. You can spot the Pensionne easily as it's located just beside the main road but the rooms is actually at the back part. So no need to worry about the street noise. i love the guide book provided in our room. It has a lot of useful information of what to do or where to go in Kalibo. will definitely go back!
Very Satisfied Traveler”
Location is a plus for me given that it is only a couple of minutes away from the airport, and there is a 7-11 store in the same building! The surroundings and the rooms of the hotel were really clean and very well maintained. It has a hut where you and your friends can plan out your activities or just hang out. WIFI is really fast and can easily be connected to within the vicinity. The staff of the hotel was very accommodating and very pleasant. Lastly, you can enjoy an activity within Papierus wherein you can make papers! It is truly an amazing experience to be able to create one!

Papierus is comfortable and cozy. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The place is modest and for the price we paid, we got value for money. There is a 7-11 store right beside it, which helps when you need to buy emergency stuff. If your on a budget but dont want to sacrifice on comfort and cleanliness, this is a good choice.
A good hotel for the price”
Very very affordable but a clean hotel. Me and my husband are surprised, we weren't expecting for a good room for its price. We just need a place to stay from kalibo airport before going to boracay.. I can really recomend this. 😊 Cons, no food service.. We have to look for a place to eat, but it's ok atleast we was able to look around a very quiet city of kalibo aklan.

We stayed for one night because we were heading to boracay the next day. The room is okay. Im happy with the free wifi!! I think it is a good place to spend a night in. It is easy to locate just tell the tricycle "papierus near the capitol" and they know it already! I recommend this place if tou need to stay overnight in kalibo before going to boracay.

I was not expecting that the pension house was really nice! Its my third time in Kalibo but so far this is the best ive stayed for. The price is absolutely cheap but the accomodation is beyond my expectations. Keep it up guys and definitely i will see you again to my next trip in Kalibo and Boracay!
Emergency Booking”
I've received a message from my Mom that they were stranded at the bus terminal bound to Manila from Kalibo (I'm at work in Manila). Only one Terminal is operating and no slots left for them. Since my Mom is with my Senior citizen Auntie and a 5 yr old nephew, I decided to book a place for them to stay until the next day as they already reserved their seats (RORO). This is the most nearest place I found so I called them up to say I booked a reservation for my Mom. The staff who answered was very kind and helpful in giving me details how my Mom could get there. Knowing that the check in time is at 2pm, they even allowed my Mom to check in immediately which was 12 noon. It was extremely hot outside and they know it's not safe for the elders to stay outside. Their travel time has been suspended again and they had no choice but to extend their stay. The place was neat, clean and relaxing as per my Mom. They were able to relax. Kudos to your Team!

We decided to stay here because we had an early flight the next day. This pensionne house doesn't dissappoint us. I was expecting that the rooms will be old for the price,but it is not.It was well maintained.The room has a pleasant smell.The bed and pillows are comfortable.The fleece blanket is so soft.I had a good night sleep,just a grainy thing under the sheets when I used it.Their rest room is clean and they offer massage services.Plus points because we came from a Boracay trip and we need to have a relaxation for our aching muscles.Just a suggestion to arrange the things that stocked up in their yard near the bamboo hut.

Good location, just right across the provincial capitol and about 2.5 km from Kalibo airport. There are a lot of food establishments around. Excellent water pressure in the bathroom. Good value for money.

Very good place to stay although we stay for 1 night. It' just a small compound but it's quite place I sleep really well.Next time if I will come back in Kalibo I will choose this place again.
