Unexpectedly Great :-)
I've driven past this resort many times over the years & finally add the opportunity to book and stay there. It's been in Coffs a long time & has a bit of a rep for being a bit run down. In all honesty it is a bit, but it's not the Hilton & in fairness even the Hilton can't provide what this resort does. Despite being right next to the highway, it is very! quiet. Amazingly quiet even. The gardens are pleasent and relaxing with a nice outlook, especially from the higher cabins. We were in the 2 bedroom bure's and I we were very impressed upon walking in. You could comfortably live in these long term. The only let down was a fridge seal that was broken, which meant holding the door shut with a chair, but realistically for the price that is really nitpicking. They aren't spotless because of their age, but honestly who cares. It is a great getaway spot, in a convenient location for Coffs & beach access, a relaxing environment, with great value for money (although I think I might have paid a lot less than the standard rates with a deal). In short will recommend it to anyone :-)

First and last stay
The cabin was old and showed many signs of wear and tear. Smelled strongly of "shellac" (I think it was from the particle board ceiling). The cheap plastic folding door into the ensuite was broken. There were liquid stains down the door and wall adjacent to the door. Table and chairs were past their use by date. No information in the room about the facilities that I could see, unless it was provided through the TV. The location is right next to the Pacific Highway and it's night long traffic noise. Rooms desperately need improved sound proofing. Good restaurant on-site with friendly staff.

Amazing value for money!
The bushland setting and the value for money
Stayed here overnight and you can't beat the 79 dollars I paid for it. Nice cabin in a garden setting, comfy beds clean and comfortable.

Pit stop on the return leg to Sydney
Price, price, price.
Venue was easy to find, the cabins are a little dated and there was a fair degree of wear but otherwise bed was as comfortable as home. Two annoying things, 1) it would appear that the 1 face flannel per room policy is a thing in more than 1 hotel/motel on the road to/from Brisbane (had same problem in Port Macquarie earlier in the trip) and 2) we were woken by a ridiculously loud fire alarm set off by someone in a cabin a few doors down, fortunately we were due to get up anyway but it scared our little girls and my wife.
