Great resort with perfect location”

Perfect location at long beach

I did not arrange for pick-up and arrived at the Phi Phi Pier on a heavily rainy day. I called Paradise Pearl several times but the mobile signal is really poor on the island. I waited for about 10 minutes and finally found the hotel long tail boat. I was first assigned a first-floor room but the restroom door was jammed. Called the reception and they switched a second-floor family room with ocean view for me which was a wonderful upgrade. Pros: Great great great location at long beach with beautiful view and clean ocean compared to Ton Sai Bay; Dedicated decorations all around and quiet surroundings without too many tourists interruption; Very helpful staffs especially at the reception if you need any help. Cons: Not very convenient location, and need to take long tail boat (100B) to get to Ton Sai Bay if you don't want to walk for 20 min, and there will be no long tail boat service on a windy day or after 4PM everyday; Not a good place to stay if you are going for night life; Very poor cell signal around (maybe some strong spots somewhere); No free wifi around (not a con actually 'cause it's the same for most other hotels on Phi Phi Island) and you have to pay about 3B/min; No swimming pool. Overall, I highly recommend Paradise Pearl for a get-away vacation and I will definitely come back and stay here if I have a chance.

Perfect location”

Paradise Pearl Bungalows was a fantastic place to stay on Phi Phi island. The beach is fantastic and so much better than the main resort of Ton Sai, it is beautiful and peaceful with a fabulous view of Phi Phi Ley. Would 100% recommend. Great snorkelling straight off the beach, the water is crystal clear. Handy mini market on site and the restaurant has good Thai food. Staff were friendly and helpful. They also provided a complimentary pick up from the ferry and also dropped us back to the ferry by long tail boat.

Great place - wish I could have stayed longer”

Comfort, beaches and relaxing

Paradise Pearl is a place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Ko Phi Phi and the ocean. t is quiet and away from the nightlife of Ton Sai Village. The rooms while not new are well kept, spacious and very comfortable. The showers are huge (room for 4 or more) as were the rooms. I have stayed here twice, 14 years apart, and both times it was the highlight of my trip. Thai massages in the shade by the beach are such a great treat! Only negative was that Wifi was in lobby and restaurant but not in our bungalow.

Quiet and clean bungalow in paradise”

We loved our stay at Paradise Pearl Bungalows. The rooms were clean and secure, the bed was comfortable, the aircon cooled off the room quickly, and the bungalow offered a lot of space. On the property, the staff were so kind, the restaurant food and breakfast buffet options were amazing, and the massage spa was so wonderful. The private beach was nice, but there were a lot of rocks that I got scraped on there. I liked that the bungalows were away from the noisy town, but it was advertised as a 30 minute walk, but took us much longer. The longtail boats were a great option but a little scary at times. Overall, would definitely recommend this place to travelers to Phi Phi.

Perfect Beach Getaway”

I was a solo traveler that stayed June 8-12. The Paradise Pearl Bungalow's were absolutely gorgeous and 100% worth the cost. The staff were all friendly, the bungalow was clean each day, the food amazing and Long Beach was beautiful. I would definitely come back and stay again. It was a quick long boat ride into town or you could walk through the woods (~30 min walk). This path also split so you could walk up to the Koh Phi Phi Viewpoint (~40 min walk). While there weren't many other solo travelers staying here, it was easy to meet others in town or meet people who had come to Long Beach for the day. If you're looking for a nice peaceful beach getaway at a gorgeous location I would definitely come here.

Lovely setting but... ”

My girlfriend and I booked the Paradise Pearl bungalow a little bit of time before we arrived at Koh Phi Phi. When arriving in Tonsai Pier, we were bombarded with people asking where we're staying (which is normal) but not one person was offering a lift to Paradise Pearl. We were told to get a taxi boat to Long Beach... This is where things went wrong. It turned out that the tide was low and no taxi boats would go to Long Beach. This meant that there was a 40 minute walk ahead of us, bearing in mind that we had x2 20kg suitcases it would take a little bit longer. It ended up taking us 1 hour to walk to Paradise Pearl, there were no signs on the way and we had to trek up and down staircases, across the beach, through the jungle and then finally arriving to a downhill jungle trek down to Paradise Pearl. Luckily they do have Bell boys to help you with your bags but this was at the last point of our 1 hour trek. The bungalows are beautiful, the beach and the sound of the waves crashing is amazing for the price we paid, but if I had known of the trouble getting to the hotel, I would've booked somewhere else. On our departure, we had to leave at 7am to get to Tonsai by 8am, it turned out that the taxi boats font start until 8am and the bell boys start at 8.30am. I can tell you that getting the bags back to Tonsai was really difficult because of the lack of Bell boys. Again, great place to stay if you're packing lightly, if not, look somewhere else.

Good beach, good value for money”

Landing from a 2 hour boat trip from Phuket we were quite happy to jump right away on a 10' free transfer long tail boat to Pearl Paradise resort situated on the so-called 2nd bay and skip the village altogether thus escaping the hedonistic cohorts of revellers. Our stay started with a slight disappointment as our booking through Agoda had led us to believe that we had got the upper category M1-M2 cottages in front of the beach whereas somehow expectedly we got the M5-M6 cottages a little further away. No big deal as the cottages, while lacking sophistication, offer all the necessities to be expected and more including TV, hot showers, free bottled water and huge beds. Our family of 5 particularly enjoyed the vast little populated relatively clean sand beaches and the transparent sea where fishes are never far away from being spotted. The constant traffic of long tail boats, the only mean of transport on the island, was slightly annoying but it was less of an an annoyance than feared possibly due to the conspicuous absence of jet skis during our stay. Another plus was the permanent sight of the grandiose Phi Phi Leh island and the availability of tours - although one can barely imagine what kind of circus touring Phi Phi Leh together with hundreds of long tails and speedboats filled to the brim could become (and in spite of that snorkelling was great!). At all times of the day, the resort restaurant is available immediately overlooking the beach offering decent cheap food as well as a very good fish-grill in the evening (unfortunately I hold it that there is no fresh fish on the island since all fishermen have reconverted as taxis!). Price-wise PP is probably an excellent quality-price option as we paid per bungalow per night buffet breakfast included, this at the peak of high season.

Paradise Indeed”

great location, incredible view, clean and nice rooms

our stay on phi phi was just unforgettable. and we were very happy with our hotel choice. it is situated away from the loud and crowded ton sai village and allows to fully enjoy the incredible beauty of the island. the beach is 1 min away from the bungalows and from some bungalows there's just a great view to the sea. if you also want to enjoy the night life or visit some nice sea food restaurants, you can just walk for 30 mins along the sea to ton sai. the walk itself is just a pleasure. the long tailed boats that will bring you back to the long beach in the night time will cost per person. the beach itself is clean and relatively quiet. it's also worth to take a long tailed boat to the shark point, which is 5 mins away from the beach and snorkel there. you will see beautiful reefs and plenty of colorful fish. the luckiest ones will also see reef sharks.the rooms of the bungalows are spacious, clean and nice with everything you need. staff was helpful and friendly and was serving us with a smile.

Amazing Location”

Friendly helpful staff, amazing beach, amazing sea, out of this world views...

Originally booked this place for only two nights after much research on Agoda and beyond...was immediately delighted with the location and the beautiful grounds, views, access to the white sandy beaches etc. Had what I consider the best room in the place (P1) for two nights then booked an extra 7 nights in A3 which is basic but great views still and right now considering staying another 4 nights to finish the trip off. Saw some people on this site critical of the staff, have to say if you come with a calm and polite attitude you won't have any issue. The many staff are young, friendly and super polite, especially when dealing with some trying and pedantic customers. Breakfast has a good variety and the view is superb by any standard. If you rise early you pretty much have this end of the beach to yourself and the warm waters are filled with friendly tropical fish, especially if you take a bit of food out for them. It's a boy's own adventure walk over the hill to the township of Phi Phi (sign says 2km but I think a bit less)which adds to the fun, or you can shell out for the 100 baht longboat ride each way. The distance from the main noise and chaos of town is a real bonus for this hotel. Absolutely no noise but close enough for some market shopping or restaurant visits. If you are on this site right now looking for a tropical paradise drop out or a honeymoon destination then room P1 for as long as you can book it is what you need to do....do it!

Great place in the best spot!”

Paradise Pearl was a gem in the middle of Phi Phi. It is "hidden" at Long Beach, which, in my opinion, was the prettiest of all the beaches in the island. It is a quiet place, with no parties, loud music or fire shows, which fit me perfectly. Room was massive, had a very big balcony with a great view. The whole place is very well taken care of. We can have our breakfest served just by the beach. We can travel to the town by taxi boat or walking, which takes around 25min (that's what I did). Wrapping, Paradise Pearl is a great place to rest and have piece of mind, if that's what you're looking for.

Absolutely fabulous - what a location!”

1.Location on superb, quiet beach 2.Delicious breakfast buffet with a wide selection 3.Nice bungalow-style rooms in quiet, pretty surroundings

Our stay was wonderful! The resort is right on Long Beach, the best beach on Phi Phi Don, and directly faces Phi Phi Lay. Breakfast was excellent with a magnificent view. The 20 minute walk to town is over rocks and hills, so it's not for everyone, but we enjoyed it. This distance keeps Long Beach relatively secluded and very quiet, so we were pleased. Hire a "taxi boat" to pick you up early in the morning (we left at 6:30am)from the hotel beach and you'll have the most spectacular, major tourist locations all to yourselves! We were the only ones swimming in Losamah Bay and Pileh Bay, and shared Maya Beach with just a few sailboats. You'll love Koh Phi Phi and this hotel.

Great Location”

We loved our stay at Paradise Pearl Bungalows. Great location. We booked a bit late so didn’t have the best room so would recommend booking in advance to get a bungalow looking out to Sea. The staff are friendly, I had food poisoning when we arrived (from elsewhere) and they were very kind. We went on a boat trip organised through them which was one of our best days of our trip. Would highly recommend and is far far nicer stretch of beach than the main port area in Phi Phi

Our frontbeach bungalow was perfect! 5m to the beach, stunning view of koh phi phi lee island. Perfect spot for a couple, family, group of people who want to don't stay inner the busy koh phi phi. You can grab a taxi boat to go to the town for 100bahts/people or walk there for about 25min. Just try to avoid boat paradise #5 for a day tour (not the best experience for us in Thailand...)., except that, everything was amazing!

Bungalow deluxe on the beach ”

I can say I've been in better hotels, but this one was the most relaxing room I've ever been. The room was big also the bathroom, the decoration wasn't fancy very Thai but super clean. The place, well it was almost on the beach. I woke up every day listening to the sea and opened my curtains to see the view from my bed. A dream. The room had everything you need. The breakfast is average. You don't have a pool but why having a pool in Long Beach. Another part I really enjoyed was the masseuses they were the best I had in the last few years. Certificates everithing I did it every day. The price is pretty much the same everywhere so do it. You didn't have the crapy music going on night and day just the sound of the waves. So so nice. Will book it again for sure. If you're not a party people this is the place. The long boat taxi isn't expensive if you want to go to center of koh phi phi and it is very nice and fast.

Stunning view”

When we got to our room I was at first disappointed with the outdated room. But them I really appreciate the proximity of the bungalow to the beach and also the room in itself is very accommodating with lots of storage and it’s still very clean. And then there is the view. Long beach is the best beach on Koh Phi Phi. It’s so pretty and especially for the sunset. As soon as the day trippers are gone you get the place all for yourself. It’s just paradisaic. Yes this hotel is more money but man! It’s worth it.

Great location with little kids”

We had the front bungalow K1 and it was excellent for staying with our 2 little children (23 months & 3.5 years). Beach was directly in front and restaurant right next door so very easy for the emergency toilet stops etc. We had a large king size bed and additional single bed and that slept all 4 of us. Kids top and tail in single or 1 child fitted in with us in large bed. The beach was swim able with little kids (with adult assistance) but great sand play (shady). It took around 30-40 minutes to walk to Ton Sai. 3.5 year old walked the whole way. Our younger child fell asleep in a quality hiking back pack. Can't really take a pusher on the track as there is 1 serious steep climb up tree roots. Long boat also available if you aren't able to walk it. There is another beach on other side which can be an out of wind option about 30 minute walk in other direction. Breakfast was suitable for kids to eat and also other restaurant meals. This beach is much quieter than Ton Sai and would recommend it if you have young kids. This is not a party area and everything winds down by 9pm. Only down side is there is a lot of boat activity out the front. Otherwise perfect. Staff were friendly and massages great. We loved it and the kids were sad to leave. Hope this helps other travelers make the decision.

The beach

Very nice place! We had originally just booked two nights, but decided to stay longer. Restaurant serves excellent food and is very nice for both breakfast, lunch and dinner with beatiful scenery. You can also order take away to the beach. The beach is very nice and not so crowded as others. We were first shown a room in the back of the area (dark and with no sea view) and quickly changed to a "Beachfront Bungalow". It costs a bit more, but it is worth it! Big and spacious room with our own terrasse. Internet was ok. Just five minutes by longtail into the "city". Little shop by the reception were you can buy icecream, food and drink. I can highly recommend "Paradise Pearl Bungalow"!

Nice calm hotel in paradise”

We were lucky to get a good price on Agoda for a bungalow with seaview. One of the best bungalows probably. Everything was nice and clean and we had about 10 meter to the beach. Wifi was not good in our bungalow so expect to have problem with that. The service is good. There are towels and towels for the beach that you can use. There are shampo in the shower. The water is nice and clear (carabean blue) and nice snorkling in some places. 30 min walk to town or 5 min long tail boatride for 100 bht per person one way. Everyone should visit Phi Phi island and stay at least 3 days.
