First hotel in our Hanoi tour and it had set the bar high. I can actually say that it’s the best hotel we’ve stayed at. We have availed the stay with free breakfast. This is a must! Breakfast is five star! Hands down a great way to start your day. We stayed in Paradise Suites for two nights and we came here straight from the airport. We were lucky enough that there is an available room so we were able to check-in early but we just paid the succeeding fees which was okay as it came with a free breakfast already. The room was very clean and big. You just have to ask the lobby for room service if you want to have your room cleaned. The Paradise Suites Hotel offers free transfers to the beach with free bottled water and beach towels. They will drop you off and will pick you up on your preferred time. They also have the Halong Bay Day Cruise option if you are looking for one, although we have not availed this. The staff here are very kind and accommodating too! Very great customer service. And lastly, the location is near all the restaurants and the Harbour. All in all, I would definitely recommend this hotel for you stay in when you’ll be exploring Tuan Chau Island. We will come back for sure. Such an excellent stay!
It is comfortable
The room is beautiful and comfortable
My stay was great! Very friendly staff so willing to help with anything and the hotel is beautiful. We really enjoyed the rooftop pool it had a beautiful view!
This hotel was gorgeous. We stayed during the off season, so the cost was great. However, because the hotel is in a tourist only area, there was very little to do outside of get on a boat to cruise the bay. They were doing construction and offered us an upgrade to a suite for the inconvenience (which there wasn’t, we never saw construction), as well as free breakfast, which was great. If you are planning on take a cruise around Ha Long and only need a hotel for a night, I’d definitely recommend staying here. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and it’s right at the end of the pier, if you want to catch a ferry to Cat Ba.
Big rooms! ”
We stayed here for a night after going on a cruise on halong bay. Rooms were really big and clean and had a boutique kind of feel. The set up and staff are like you're in a resort - extremely friendly, professional and helpful and they have a buggy to drive you around. Only things we didn't love was that the rooms Aren't near the pool/beach at all - you need to get driven there and back, and that a tour bus woke us up in the morning parked outside playing really loud music at 7am. We enjoyed our stay!
Enjoyed the Hotel”
Our room was on the Serviced Residence part of the hotel. The room space was just right for my daughter and I and the room was very comfortable for the value of money spent. The Staff was excellent in helping with cruise booking and transportation back to Hanoi. Breakfast had variety of delicious buffet. The hotel has 3 parts: The Paradise Suite, The Paradise Trend and the Service Residence. The restaurant is across the Paradise Suite. The distance is short between the parts of the hotels and restaurant. The staff and hotel comfort made our stay at Halong Bay very nice. We would surely stay at the hotel when we come to Halong Bay again.
fantastic hotel and great staff, immaculate
Quiet paradise in Ha Long Bay”
This hotel is beautiful. We were upgraded when we checked in and well taken care of. We had a small incident while on our vacation at another destination. We had tried finding the mediation on our own at the pharmacy but they either didn’t sell or were out of stock. After explaining the situation to the front of house staff they went out after shift to 3 pharmacies to find our medication and we had it in hand before the day was out. We stayed here for 3 nights. The buses come in and drop off the people to the boats, then the boats leave keeping the harbour very quiet. There are good places to eat “1958” and “Hana Egg coffee and food”. Of course the day cruise is well worth the price and after a day in the bay with 1000’s of tourists, we were happy to return to our hotel and not have to sit on a bus after. Breakfasts were well prepared and offered in a buffet style. Be prepared that staying here you will not see the bay from your rooms because of new buildings. Highly recommend!
Great but pressure sold at the front desk on arrival”
The location is lovely, the buildings are nice. There's a lot of unfinished buildings around, which makes it a bit dusty and noisy. I bought 2 rooms (one for my son, and one for me). When we arrived she pointed out we were in the older part of the hotel, due to the low rate we paid (it wasn't low for the area). She told me we might be happier in a suite (she'd sell us better rooms). She then pointed out the rom differences. We were anticipating the worst as we made our way to our lower quality rooms...but they were lovely, clean and worth the money.
Only slight ‘issue’ is the beach being 2km away - but there is an electric car that will drive u back and forth. The staff are amazing (and so beautiful) and one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in ! Thank u!
Very good ”
What is not mentioned in agoda is that the pool and the seashore is 1.5km away from the hotel. But the hotel provides the electric cars transportation 9-11am, 1-6pm. The room was very good though not exactly like in the pic (e.g., no carpeting and it's sad, the floor is cold) but very comfortable and beautiful. The stuff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is located near the ferry station but almost no facilities around (e.g., no pharmacy).
Beautiful Hotel with professional staff”
We stayed 2 nights seeking relax and we definitely found it. Despite the location (nice but lonely), the hotel is at a walking distance from the 3-4 beach bars/restaurant currently open in Tuan Chau (a lot more to come in the next years). The Room was not too big but it could accommodate the 4 of us (1 extra bed and 1 baby cot). Nicely furnished, clean and with a huge very king size bed. The Pool is a bit far, but just ask the reception and in few minutes a caddy will bring you there. Nice pool nearby the beach (absolutely desert, not mush where to swim, but with shower!). Pity that everywhere around was under construction (anyway quite). Breakfast was great the first morning (in the smaller restaurant) but a bit too crowded the second time (just opposite the hotel). BayChai/night market/kids playground/cinema is 100kVND away (worth a visit) and HaLong abt double price. Overall good value for money and nice to spend a long weekend in (even if you don't go for a boat trip).
This was one of the best hotels that we stayed during our 3-week trip in Vietnam. We stayed there for the convenient access to the 1-day cruises. It's too bad Tuan Chau island does not have much happening. Other than that, the hotel is excellent, so is food and service. The only surprise is that the hotel's private beach and pool is very far away. You will need to borrow the free bicycle to get there. The pool is lovely except that the surrounding hotels are still under construction. You just have to learn to ignore it. The beach, on the other hand, is less impressive to swim in. It's just nice for picture taking since you can see the Ha Long Bay in the background.
Dear Chi, Thank you for taking the time to share your review. We are glad to hear that you had a great time with us, and thank you for understanding the construction happening around our leisure area. We are finishing that expansion project soon, and have planned some exciting additions in terms of leisure and entertainment. We already have regular electric-car service between the beach and our main buildings, for those not willing to borrow a bike - although it is quite a nice place for a ride. We would love to welcome you again soon! Yours, Ettore Z Director of Quality
Excellent starting point for a cruise”
Elegant and perfect interior, excellent service and spa. We also enjoyed a wonderful dinner! Ideal starting point for a cruise through Halong Bay. We were brought to the pier by their Golf car free of charge.
Great stay! ”
Rooms very modern we stayed in the trend suit originally for 7 nights but had to cut our trip short, hotel very understanding and helped as much as possible. The hotel offer some great excursions and day trips, we indulged in the spa and the hotels own cruise. All of the staff done such an amazing job and paid extra attention to the details, I'd like to give a special thanks to our tour guide on the boat/waiter MING who made our day extra special by answering all the questions we had and running us through the history of Vietnam, his English was perfect and we understood everything he was telling us for that I'd like to thank him. Such a relaxing stay with no pressure what so ever, great for a quiet escape.
Ghost town in low season”
A bit confusing because when you book online it’s with one of the 4 or 5 hotels in their chain that are right next to each other. Makes the check-in a little akward. The room was really nice, bed was great. Just wouldn’t recommend staying in Tuan Chau unless you have to for a cruise. You might aswell go directly to Cat Ba. There was nothing to do while I was there and regretted booking a night here. Maybe in high season there is a bit more to do as all the businesses will be open... but doubtful.
Lovely quiet hotel, good location for Halong Bay boat trip”
The hotel was lovely, modern and clean. The staff were very accommodating. It is right next to the marina where you can go on a day boat trip to Halong Bay. The spa was great we had a massage with 50% off at happy hour. The area is very quiet only a few restaurants so we only stayed 2 nights. But over all a really lovely place.
New, clean established. Classy and well manned
