Exceptional”
Our stay at Paradise sun hotel was very relaxing and enjoyable. The rooms were very well maintained and the property has a beautiful beach, so one could enjoy without the need to go outside the hotel. Also the trip to nearby island and snorkeling was provided in the package and it was truly a great experience, especially for our 15 year old son. We took a good decision of spending more time in Praslin than Mahe. Praslin with its pristine beaches is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The restaurant was also very good and it had enough options for vegetarian like me. Breakfast spread was good and enjoyable. The hotel is definitely on the expensive side, especially since our programme was not planned much in advance. However the time spent in the hotel was a memorable experience.

Needs more investment”
While dinner service and food was always really nice, breakfast was not good. Birds are able to fly around the breakfast area eating what they can (including the buffet at times) and the fresh fruit was left out for flies. Most staff had no interest in managing this better. We only ate the food that was cooked in front of us or covered. Even our coffee on numerous occasions was served when the milk had already turned. The roof leaks also in the breakfast area and the rooms require attention (we had termites in the dressing area and a cockroach one evening!) Having said all that, the excursion/entertainment team (John & co.) were very helpful and enthusiastic. On balance we will not be back.

Good, Solid 4 star with exeptional staff & top Management”
I have visited many hotels over the years and this is one of the best on the island of Praslin. The hotel is nestled between a mountain and the indian ocean with all the flora and fauna of a tropical island in the well maintained grounds. All the well appointed rooms look out towards the white sands coral beach. The staff and Management are particularly noteworthy. The meals are prepared to a good standard with various themed eveing meals. Breakfast are the usual affair for international tastes and afternoon tea is a real bonus after a hard day baking on the quality wood sunloungers. The freashwater pool is not large but good enough to cool you down should the humidity get a little high. There is a variety of nationalities visiting this property which makes for some interesting conversations should you wish to indulge at the bar in the restaurant which is sited on the ocean front. All in all, if you want good quality relaxation allied to a professional set up then Paradise Sun is it

We simply adored The Sun in Paradise! The Seychelles are one of the most beautiful places on Earth, and Praslin is truly the Garden of Eden. Staff at the Hotel were so friendly and helpful, our room was right on the beach as requested, the food exceeded expectations, and we were so sad to leave this very special place at the end of our stay.

The best hotel in Seychelles”
We stayed for 7 nights at Paradise Sun Hotel and this was the best vacation we had on Seychelles. Maybe the hotel did not had the best interior design compared to the others we stayed but they had an amazing team of very enthusiastic people who did absolutely their best to pamper all guests. This is what I will remember most - beautiful location and great dedicated staff. Keep up good work guys.

Perfect for a fun vacation”
The hotel is located on a very nice beach and offers many activities which allow your stay to be relaxing while never getting bored. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially the activities staff. They will assist you with anything you might want to do on the island or surrounding islands. The diving team located in the resort is extremely professional and knows exactly where to take you to see sharks, turtles... The food was OK but very diverse so we did not have to eat the same things over and over during our week there. The room is very confortable and not too close to other rooms so that you really have your privacy.

Very good hotel in Praslin”
we stayed at Paradise sun hotel for 8 nights. the location is wonderful the hotel is facing a beautiful beach with whit send and calm water. Most of the rooms are facing the ocean.The superior room is spacious with separate shower and a dressing room. the room is equipped with coffee emnities and small fridge,The restaurant is situated on the beach you walk on the send so you do not need high hills... the food is good served as buffet.. For us we lacked gym room

Nice hotel but there are rooms for improvement”
The hotel is very nice, rooms are big and cleaning is twice a day. The hotel is located on a beautiful white sandy beach and the view from the restaurant is amazing. However, despite that the web site states that there is free Wi-Fi in the rooms, there is NO Wi-Fi in the rooms at all. It's only available by the pool and at a slow very speed which was a huge problem for us as my husband had to work several hours a day on his PC and had to go early in the morning, when it was still dark to the pool for Wi-Fi. There is no free drinks during dinner which was very bad because the hotel is quiet expensive and for this price they I expected drinks to be included. There was no entertainment in the evenings except of music during dinner every second day. Good point that anything we needed was arranged immediately, even when our air conditioner stopped working at 10 p.m., we called the reception and got it repaired within 15 min.

The hotel is a beautiful resort located on one of the most enjoyable beaches in Praslin, the rooms are very big and comfortable and the staff is extremely keen on giving you the best service possible, much more than is officially required. I strongly recommend it.

Overall good, nice setting, excellent food, low value for money for non-Seychelles standards”
Nice room and view, clean but very crowded beach (couldn’t always find a sunbed), very good buffet dinner and a la carte options, beautiful setting. On the downside: in other destinations you get a lot more for the 400+ eur/night rate; besides the usual boat excursions not many entertainment options (water sports etc) Staff ok, but there is room for improvement. After checking in at a slightly less expensive (300eur+) hotel nearby, I can definitely say that I miss Paradise Sun:). Would recommend, but don’t come with high expectations, since the value for money throughout Seychelles seems different to other Indian Ocean locations (Mauritius, for example)

Great hotel with excellent staff”
It is a wonderful hotel surrounded by plenty of nature. The staff is extremely kind and helpful, and John, Aaron and Jimmy are taking a very good care to entertain the visitors during the entire day. Sylvette and Joyce are assisting guest with any request. The place is very beautiful with an excellent location. The food is delicious. It is a piece of Paradise.

Good hotel but not good value for money ”
First of all, hotel beach is really beautiful. Location is nice. Probably it’s the best part of it. We love the view. Room is not new but quite clean. Other than that. Hotel WiFi is really bad even in the room or outside. It’s really bad or we barely got the connection. Service is slow and take forever to come. I found it’s common in Seychelles in general though. We did half board but Food is just ok and they only have two restaurants. One for breakfast and one for dinner buffet. And we didn’t know we have to check out at 10am in the morning and we were asked to settle all the bill the night before we checkout . Its so weird. As they charge over 500 dollars per night. I think the Hotel or staff should try harder to make ppl want to come back again. When we go, the doormans outside didn’t even help us with luggages or say bye.

Excellent”
Hice hotel on a good location for travelling. There are restaurants, shops and exchange close to the hotel. Bus station is right in front of it. All rooms are with seview, just few meters from the beach. The furniture is littel bit older, but still ok. Stuff is very friendly and helpful. Dinners and breakfasts are good and sufficient. During longer stay the food would start to be a bit monotonous. Restaurant is open right on the beach (very romantic). Beach is nice with little bit of seagrass (but the stuff clean it every day) and sting rays, but they are not danger if you dont step right on them.

Amazing food, staff and scenery. Its not a 4 star hotel by UK/US standards however it is seriously value for money. My only gripe was that our room had a growing termite issue which the receptionists seem to know about but offered to do nothing about.
