Really nice place with good location, great pool and spacious and private rooms”
For now, the best location in Phu Quoc in Ong Lang! No direct neighbours. You can cycle or walk to the restaurants and shops in the area where most resort are. Pool and garden are great! Bungalows could use some final touch and upgrade, however, they are more private then most of the others place in Phu Quoc. There are some 3 bungalows rows, some of 2 and 2 stand alone. We could choose whatever room we wanted. The matrasses on the platform are not ideal I think, however, we did not want to leave because of the really good location and friendly staff. I we wanted we could also choose a stand alone bungalow with a normal bed. They went out of their way for us and we had some good laughs. The nice and kind manager just started and is willing to improve the place even more. Be there before it gets really expensive, because it has so much potential!!!

Got falsely charged for two small bottles of water”
The Paradiso Phu Quoc Resort lies outside the city center 8 km to the north. The Ông Lang beach there is quite beautiful and quiet, in the surrounding there are several restaurants and bars. The resort itself has a large garden, a clean swimming pool and nice rooms. The staff, however, tried to overcharge us: Small bottles of water were supposed to be provided outside the fridge for free while the water in the fridge isn’t free. In fact, there were only two bottles in the fridge. So, we took those bottles (not being told whether those where the free ones or not) and later on had an argument whether to pay for them or not. Given the price per night for the resort, it seems quite ridiculous to argue about two small bottles of water (40k VND / 2 USD). We don’t mind paying for what we drink but we do mind the way the owner tries to rip off the guests. The owner should revise its policies in order to avoid struggles with the guests.

Amazing value, ideal quiet resort”
So pleased to have booked here, the bungalow was charming, spacious, light and very well maintained. The pool was lovely, the staff so helpful and hard working. This was an ideal location for us, close to the beach and Ong Lang village, perfect for exploring the north of the island. It was exceptional value for money compared to more expensive resorts and the personal service provided by the staff was above and beyond. Just wonderful!

Paradiso is a gem thou location is not perfect but The staff are so so so amazing and kind and friendly and would help you with everything they can. Paradiso is a beautiful resort embedded in nature, on a great, quiet location. Although a motorbike is welcome to discover the island, you have everything nearby: beach, delicious food, shops,... Seriously enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

Luxury bungalows in a very peaceful setting”
Paradiso is a very peaceful resort. From the moment we arrived the hosts were most helpful and welcoming and gave us a traditional green tea. The bungalows are spacious and spotlessly clean with the added bonus of the "outside" bathroom. The beach is very secluded and perfect for relaxation and only 5 minutes walk. There are plenty of cafes and restaraunts within walking distance (although not too many to spoil the atmosphere). Pool was good too. Breakfast was ok but could do with more choices. Overall we had a very relaxing few days here.

Lush, Tropical and secluded!”
This place is gorgeous. Not much happening at this end of the island (West), but still there are a few side streets that have a nice local/tourist vibe. The hotel has brochures featuring snorkeling and fishing trips to islands and sites for reasonable prices, pick-up and drop-off for an extra fee (not much). Bicycles are nice to ride around the area and to beaches. Staff are very friendly and accommodating.

pretty facilities - poor communication ”
booked phu quoc at the end of our trip and were utterly disappointed.. trash island with standards in hospitality way below the mainland. ended up at paradiso because our initial booking in dong doung wasn’t acceptable. the resort features some picturesque bungalows and a clean pool. however cleanliness in the bathroom + linens was lousy. breakfast also minimal. staff is trying really hard accommodate but the lack of english complicates things enormously.. it was a great plan b for a rough arrival on the island but doesn’t meet any of the beautiful standards found on the mainland

Quaint and friendly little hotel- staff are so friendly”
If you are expecting a multinational type of hotel this is not it! It is is friendly, great location- only around 5-10 mins walk from a great beach Via local lanes and so close to town for dinner etc. The staff, whilst. language can be an issue will do all they can to help you but are happy and willing. To ty. The accommodation is around 12 bungalows traditional style with own. Veranda and an outside bathroom which was great!!! Maybe only couple of disadvantages would be that breakfast. Is basic but you do not. Go away hungry, there is always enough! And there is only 6 pool loungers so if the resort is cup and everyone wants to go to the pool at once, you may be unlucky!! Other than that it’s great value for money

Slice of paradise!”
We stayed here for 3 days in the middle of September. We planned to go to the beach, but we just stayed up the beautiful pool on the sunloungers. We stayed in the 'honeymoon suite' and had our own little terrace- useful for sheltering from the monsoon rain! I think though that most other rooms had a terrace. The beach was 5 mins walk away - very beautiful. Breakfast was great and varied. Staff were so helpful and organised all our taxis - approx 240 dong each way to the airport and about a 30 minute ride. We ate dinner at another local resort (just to mix it up), and another Lonely Planet recommendation (about 30 min walk away). Free bicycles to hire, or scooters for 150,000 dong the day. Really felt like paradise!

Hotel ideal pero falta de detalles”
Hotel is really a paradise! It is beautiful and perfect for a relaxing days, just few steps to the beach where you can see the best sunset of the island. City center is a 7 km far so you will need a taxi or rent a motorbike. The only problem is the staff, they dont understand english.

Nice place ”
The resort is located in very peaceful place. Its very close to the beach and within walking distance to nice restaurants. You can also take a bike for free and go somewhere further if you want. The only thing I didnt like is the bathroom. It has big open space so we had plenty mosquitoes in there and in the room. All in all its nice.

Overbooked and sent us to another resort”
I’d like to say it was a great spot but we only got to the front gate were they told us that they were over booked and had arranged for us to stay elsewhere. So rather than “Live in nature. Stay in paradise.” in a small resort bungalow, we had a standard convention hotel room in a 200+ room high rise. It’s great that they found us another spot but after booking months ahead of time and taking the time and effort to add Phu Quoc to our itinerary, it was disappointing and greatly affected our time on the island.

Beautiful gardens and very peaceful ”
It was really nice. The staff were lovely and the gardens and cottages were fantastic. It was extremely quiet. There is a beautiful beach shared with a few other resorts close by. The breakfast was quite basic and the pool was a bit tired but overall a lovely stay here.

Comfortable stay in stylish place”
Nice place in a walking distance to the beach (15 min), restaurants and shops (20-25 min). Green territory. Big, comfortable, stylish houses with terrace. Staff tried their best to be helpful, we got all we needed from them, but it was not easy because of their little English. There are many local karaoke bars in the area, so in some days there were very loud music and singing, very specific for western people, I must say. But I guess it's the common problem now for all the area, not only for this hotel. Small roads to the beach and restaurants are without any lights, so don't forget to grab the electric torch from the house while walking late in the evenings.

it's not maintenance properly, it's not really too old, but dusty and dirty, good design, bed room and bathroom quiet wide, but air-cond was not enough power for the room, so, it was hot, no hot-water. we did expect to swim, but the pool was under maintenance. only the staffs were very kind, friendly and helpful. the beach was peaceful and nice in this season. i dont like this resort.

We were happy with our stay, just there were a few points that can be better: - Mosquitoes (can help by setting up sleeping net in the room for those needs it) - Open space bathroom (since it is opened space, we don’t appreciate that the staff goes anywhere near it)

Lovely for peace and quiet. Comfy bed and beautiful room. All set in a lush garden setting. Staff are helpful and accommodating. Nice non touristy neighbourhood and beaches nearby. Enough to casually explore but not be overwhelmed.
