One of the best hotels in Parapat”
The hotel is gorgeous, and the view from the lakeside rooms are breathtaking. Staff speak English and are ever helpful. Breakfast during our stay wasn't fantastic probably coz' it was low season but it's still good enough.

Beautifully designed, so green & detail, only one Oooppss!”
Located in the heart of the city of Parapat, this place is such a hidden gem compared to other local hotels. It’s clean, and beautifully crafted (I can see so much details and thoughts put into it, from the plants landscaping to every wordings in the posters at the restaurant)… BUT 5am in the morning, we were woken up by super loud adzan prayer from the mosque nearby, then MARATHON with Church prayers at 6am, all with LOUDSPEAKER!

Literally Parapat View”
My family was lucky enough to get the best room location. The large balcony was just a doorstep away. It’s an old hotel but the maintenance still good. We literally see the gardeners taking care all the flowers. It’s breathtaking view and very peaceful in the morning. And the staff super polite and helpful. We experienced issue with the hot water and the staff solved it within minutes. Food is the only downside so far. Looking at the hotel location which is in the uphill, I think it would be good if the hotel could provide a tasty food as well with a reasonable price. For breakfast, maybe a wide range of food and please don’t serve the coffee/tea with sugar, better if the hotel could just provide the sugar on the side for guests to add to their like. Overall, it’s a great experience! Recommend this if you dont mind looking for food outside the hotel.

Freaking cold but no water heater!”
Pro : the room is ok. Clean. Breakfast was ok too. Anyway, love the lake view. Stunning and beautiful. Cons : There is no water heater. No iron board provided.

Bedroom Cleanliness & Room Odors”
The location and view are amazing, service is great but the room ruined our mood, the first room was unpleasent odor in the room, so we called the receptions to get us a different room which they courteously responded to our request getting a new room, it was odorless and looks clean apparently when we were about to sleep we found a blood spot on the bed sheet, since we got twins bed so me and my wife squeezed on one bed room. We didn't try to get another different room again because it was already at night and feel bad for requesting again.

Pros Great view of Lake Toba Good location on hillside Nice building garden and pool. Room average but nice balcony. Cons No Aircon or fan in room so it's. too hot and difficult to sleep. No hot water for shower in mornings.At 6 am the local school start playing .music at full blast over its PA sounds as if it's inside the room This goes on to 7am each morning. That wakes the hotel guests up Pity those with young kids trying to sleep. Breakfast poor. selection. Asked for a beer in afternoon and after waiting 15 minutes went to find someone to be told they only had guiness. In the evening requested a coke but again only guiness available. If the hotel had run out they could have gone to local shop and restocked for benefit of guests. Cleaning staff try to enter the room at 825 am to clean on second morning..The staff try to be helpful but lack training and it appears no one is in charge. Could easily be so much better but perhaps limited choice in parapat leads to complacency.

Parapat view hotel have a great view, it's facilities is great and they have wifi in the hotel, i stayed there for a day and enjoyed it very much. The staffs were very friendly and could speak english fluently that makes us international travellers easier to communicate. it was a great hotel to stay in, i've enjoyed it.

Excellent View but Not Quite Worth the Price”
Booked the Superior Lake View room; the view of Lake Toba is spectacular. Bathroom was clean. Bedsheets were stained a little. Ants on the table tops. Rooms do not have air conditioning or fans (they don't need them as Parapat is naturally cool). Sounds can be heard from the lower levels even with the wondows closed. Karaoke and loud party noises could be heard till past midnight. Staff were all generally very helpful and nice (housekeeping team and manager ,Budi especially) except for this one particular staff named Alek (Alex?). He was rude, unfriendly and very unhelpful. He needs to improve on his customer service, especially since he works at the front desk. The breakfast spread was decent. Overall, I feel that Parapat View hotel is slightly overpriced.

pro: clean spacious room, love the view, food was ok, a bit far from eateries, but you can easily get tut tut from the hotel. cons: no fan or AC in the room. it was truly hot especially in the afternoon.
