Very comfortable stay”
The room is spotlessly clean with a very comfortable and spacious bed. We love the balcony setup as well. Staff is super attentive all the time. Has free bicycles and parking space. Breakfast selection is excellent. Lovely ambience, quiet street, can hear birds chirping in the morning.
Quiet and lovely botanical garden-like campus”
This is a 4 star hotel I would say. The grounds are expertly maintained with lots of flowering trees and a duck pond that you cross over a little bridge to get to the hotel resturant and bar area. The staff is top notch, speak English well and are very helpful. The manager Alex appears to be a French national and so he spearks English and French (and maybe more) and he is professional, competant, and friendly. They have free bicyles for the guests to ride around on and will provide you will suggestions and a little map of places to visit if you ask them. The bad news is that this hotel is not in the downtown area where the night market is located. But the good news is also that this hotel is not in the downtown area, which means that it is quiet and relaxing at night. Walking distance to downtown is probably only 15 minutes, or 7 minutes using a bicycle. The rooms are smallish but have nice bathroom fixtures and furniture and great aircon. All the rooms have balconies to relax.
Parasol Blanc was amazing. Staff were really friendly and helpful, especially during the breakfast service. The location is a little far from town, but they do allow guests to borrow complimentary bikes from 6am-6pm. It is also nice to get away from the hustle and bustle and head to your own little sanctuary. Although the rooms are modest, they offer balconies overlooking the beautiful property. The shower is excellent too, and they offer a turndown service with cookies. I would definitely stay again.
Fantastic rooms in amazing grounds. Very peaceful. The staff were truly wonderful and helpful. The ”
Fantastic rooms in amazing grounds. Very peaceful. The staff were truly wonderful and helpful. The bed was good. We thought the room layout was a nice mix of traditional and modern and my girlfriend especially loved the sink!! It's a pleasant walk to the centre of the town or you can borrow one of the hotel bikes and enjoy the whole area easily. We will definitely be staying here again.
A home away from home”
WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS LOVELY HOTEL AND GARDENS. THE MANAGER, ALEX IS REALLY A WONDERFUL PERSON ,PUTTING EVERYONE AT EASE AND THE STAFF ARE ALL GOOD AT ENGLISH, VERY HELPFUL , KIND AND FRIENDLY AND INTERESTED IN THEIR VISITORS AND THEIR PLANS FOR THE DAY.
A very tranquil environment with professional and courteous staff”
Set in beautiful grounds, the Parasol Blanc is a hidden oasis in Luang Prabang. Thank you so much Alex and team for co-ordinating breakfast boxes and tuk tuk for our early morning flight to Bangkok. Our stay at the Parasol Blanc was a terrific place to finish off our holiday in Laos.
Beautiful place but a bit far from the main area”
The landscape was beautiful. Staff was helpful. However, we requested for a quiet room and the hotel approved it but the room I got was just next to the road! Location was not too bad but it can feel unsafe at night with all the stray dogs and dark road. We stayed there for 3 nights but we got only 1 set of the bath room amenities for the whole stay. Ran out of bath soap on the second day and I happened to have some leftover from my previous trip, so I brought it out for use, but found it disappointed that the hotel didn't refill it for us even on the third day. Breakfast was okay with limited choices.
Must stay in this hotel in Luang Prabang”
Good size room with wonderful tranquil garden at the back of the hotel compound. Very friendly restaurant staffs and front office staffs- a special mention to Front office manager, Ms Sansany & General Manager, Mr. Tony; who spent time giving us an insight of Laos.Breakfast was a good spread of food Laotian & western food. I would return to Luang Prabang just to stay in this hotel.
Gorgeous grounds! ”
The room was perfect, but once you opened your balcony doors, you'll be greeted with a gorgeous garden, lily ponds and terraced walkways leading to the restaurant. I was blown away by the gardens, and the quality of my stay. Definitely returning next time I'm in LPB!
A beautiful hotel”
The hotel locates at a quiet place, but easy to get to the town center on foot. Staff are very polite and hospitable, room is very clean. I love their comfortable calcony, elegant decoration, beautiful garden and testy breakfast.
The hotel locates at a quiet place, not far away from the town centre. Room is very clean, with an elegant balcony. Staff are hospitable and helpful. I really love that beautiful garden and tasty breakfast.
Perfect Pasasol Blanc”
Couldn't of been happier with my stay. Great room, the most beautifully tended grounds, excellent breakfast. But most of all, delightful staff. Everyone so friendly. This is a very professionally managed hotel.
Wow! A true gem”
We loved our stay here and thought the staff were exceptional. Rooms perfectly cleaned every day and beautiful grounds. We would recommend this hotel to anyone!
Warm friendly stay.”
From our welcome to our departure this was a home from home. All the staff were smiley and took time to talk to us at every opportunity, guiding us over transport and local sights. The food was excellent and well presented using many if the products grown on site. The home made yoghurt with honey and local fruits was a particular hit at breakfast. Although for lunch or dinner it is the same menu with a limited selection we found the choice and quality more than enough for the two meals we had during our three day stay. We highly recommend this hotel for a holiday in Luang Prabang.
Best Place Ever!”
Loved everything!!! Unbelievably clean and freshly renovated rooms. Ice cold AC, awesome shower and a breakfast that covered everything you could ever want. We even had a late night dinner on the lotus pond that was terrific. The grounds are spectacular, like being in a botanical garden. We stayed in two separate rooms over five nights after only planning on staying here for two. Staff could possibly be the best in all of SE Asia. Not enough time to describe all of the things they did for us other than completely planning our wedding! They booked trips, made phone calls, shopped for flowers, baked us a cake, made us original pieces of artwork, hired a Monk for our wedding blessing ceremony. I mean, the staff is simply the greatest we have encountered in over 4.5 months of travel in the area. If we could package this hotels amenities up and use them every night we would. A special and memorable thank you to Elodie and Sansany for a beautiful and unforgettable wedding getaway.
Comfortable and Modern – Great Experience in Luang Prabang”
I really enjoyed my stay at Parasol Blanc. The facilities have all been renovated recently. Staff is helpful, friendly, and very fluent in English –the manager even speaks Spanish. The staff helped me set-up day-trips to the waterfalls / caves. The biggest perk to this hotel for me, was the bikes. Make sure you secure one from the beginning, as they can run out and it will put you a bit of a walk from the city center. It can get dark at night and quiet, but I ALWAYS felt safe, on foot and on bike. There's a couple of nice places not far from the hotel for dinner and drinks options, while most places are in the city center (a 10 / 15min bike ride from the hotel). I'd recommend to a friend and stay there again :)
Absolutely gorgeous plus value for money!”
They're quite a new hotel, I believe they opened around earlier this year. Service was amazing, staff were friendly and spoke decent English, while some had really good English - enough to hold a long conversation to get insight into the lives of locals. Our room was fantastic - very spacious and cleanliness as well as amenities were top notch. However, breakfast was very repetitive (mostly Western) and we hoped to get really good Laotian food. The location's slightly further out from the town centre but the hotel had free bikes and as everywhere is rather nearby in LP, we could easily cycle the short distance. Otherwise, the hotel staff would be happy to help you hail a tuk-tuk for a reasonable price. Feel free to ask them for free bottles of water too!
Book this hotel on behalf of friends. Feedback from them everything are good. Food, cleanliness, staffs and facilities are good. Only cons is there is some distance for old people to walk to the nearest night market as they can't cycle.
very helpful staff”
By the chance I was very impressed by kind hotel staff who prepared my little birthday suprise in the morning. Thank you all for their effort doing it. I could read their happiness that enjoy others happiness. Real laos life style. Hotel is built 2 months ago. It's finish is well done. All the details of objects are wonderful and pond garden in middle is just beautiful. Little bit away from center of this town but it was no problem for us. Free easy bicycle riding is ready.
Anahit & Hayk from Armenia: Nice calm hotel”
We stayed for 6 nights. It was a pleasant place. Although free bicycles we available at the hotel, we always enjoyed the 20 minutes walk to the center and back. Very welcoming staff, although they need to improve their English. Very friendly manager! We recommend this hotel for those who like calm.
