Heaven of all Heavens”
Perched high on the cliffside, amid tropical forests, over azure blue waters and a picturesque panorama of Andaman Sea, an oasis of tranquility and luxury, Paresa resort is a perfect escape. We stayed in two Talay Suites with the balcony accesses the large infinity pool shared by the two suites. It is a perfect option for family or friends on holiday together with shared infinity pool. We really enjoyed the breathtaking sunset and sunrise at our own pool. We felt pampered by the friendliest, smiliest staffs - "The Angels". They're always ready to serve and arrange any of guest's request and make sure we are comfortable. Very great service! Hotel also provides buggy service that can take guests visiting anywhere inside the resort eg. gallery, library, public swimming pool, restaurant and the lobby. Besides, complimentary shuttle service is available for hotel guests going to Kamala Beach. One could not dream about writing a review of Paresa without mentioning the food. Breakfast consisted of a choice of Thai or western-style entrée plus a buffet of fresh fruit, juices, chacuterie, bread and pastries. They're so perfectly delicious! Be sure to rise before 10:30. As well as the set dinner we had at the same place, enjoyed the very best Thai food ever! Truly loved every meal we had here. Every moment we spent here. Unbelievably, the experience actually EXCEEDED our expectations! Paresa, which means “heaven of all heavens”, more than lived up to its name.
superb resort with impeccable service”
Paresa was the loveliest resort we have ever stayed in. From the moment we stepped in, the service received from all the Paresa staff was impeccable. They were helpful, warm, and went out of their way to ensure that we were well taken care of. We've stayed in resorts like Banyan Tree and Amanpuri, and we would say that Paresa's service is even better! The resort itself was gorgeous. We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to the Cliff View Villa which afforded us a wonderful view of the Andaman Sea. Although the resort is not at the beach front, they have a convenient shuttle service that brings guests down to Kamala Beach, where they have a staff stationed to take care of your needs. They helped to set up our beach umbrellas, served us drinks, arranged for massages on the beach for us, as well as called for the shuttle to take us back to the resort. We couldn't be happier with our stay in Paresa, and will definitely return again.
I will definitely stay there again!”
Paresa is undoubtedly one of the best hotels I have stayed in and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a resort holiday in Phuket. It was an absolutely memorable and enjoyable experience for my partner and I. The room is very well-kept, not to mention the superb sea view. The bathroom is huge with full amenities. The resort also maintains a well-stocked library with DVDs and reading materials for guests' use. Besides all the facilities, what really impressed me was the hotel staff - friendly, helpful and spoke fluent English. From arrival to departure, our needs were well-taken of by the staff. All in all, I have no complaints with Paresa Resorts and I am definitely looking to return there soon!
We stayed in an aqua suite with a stunning view of the Andaman sea. We requested for a suite with absolute privacy that didn't have other suites looking down into ours, and Paresa delivered! It was a bit inconvenient to go anywhere in town, but you can rent a scooter for a pretty decent price. Kamala beach was a total disappointment because it had a lot of trash everywhere and the sand was really coarse. But we stayed in Kata the first half of our trip so we got all the swimming, snorkeling, sightseeing out of our system before we checked into Paresa. We had the best vacation ever, staying in Kata a few days then unwinding at Paresa to complete it magnificently! For couples looking for a quiet/romantic retreat, I highly recommend Paresa!!
Overall it is an amazing resort”
The ocean view is spectacular the room design is perfect. The endless pool is fantastic. The food in the restaurant is so very tasty. I missed it already. In the breakfast you can chose from the menu different type of courses like waffle or French toast etc. They prepare a fresh fruit juice for you. There is also a buffet of cheese, sausages and fruits. There are two restaurants one Italian and the other is Thai. We always chose the Thai dishes which was all fabulous. The room was great. a coffee machine, iPod and beautiful relaxing design. Summary: if you are looking for a luxurious relaxing place with a great food and service than Paresa is the right place. Patong hustle and bustle are only 20 minutes drive away. The downsides are: - The food in the restaurant are not cheap. Similar prices in western cities. However it is worth paying for. - The resort is far from Patong and other areas. Therefore you can’t eat outside the hotel without taking a taxi. But again the food in the restaurant is so great you would want to go - The resort is expensive but I think it worth the money. If the evening dinner was included than 600$ a night was a perfect offer - The taxi or the resort car are expensive. E.g. to Patong it cost ~900 THB. We by pass that by contacting a local driver who waited for us outside the resort on the main road. We paid only 500 THB. - There are many noises. At day you have insects who make a very loud noise. At night, after rain, there are many frogs making locomotion. The thing is that you get used to eat. After all you are in the middle of nature. For 5 stars hotel you would expect to solve this noises but again in overall it such a great experience that you tolerate it. - The SPA is expensive. We by passed it by going to the SPA in Patong. Regular foot massage you can do in Patong beach for 250 THB. If you really want good massage take in the life SPA in Patong http://phuketdir.com/thelifespa/ - The trips offered from the Hotel are
My boyfriend and I had a great experience during the whole trip in Phuket and pretty much enjoying the stay in Paresa. Very nice staffs and service, they will try their all best to help you out, like recommand good restaurants, local tours, almost like everything. A very private resort which you can stay in the hotel without going out. But one thing I don't really like is the way to Paresa. Rough road and very difficult to locate the hotel cause it's builded on the cliff. But surely if it's not on the cliff, you can't enjoy the beautiful view.
Fabulous romantic getaway”
We had a fabulous stay at Paresa. We didn't love the city of Patong so we were thrilled with the location of the hotel away from the chaos. There isn't tons to do so its a great spot to relax and enjoy all the resort has to offer. The property feels intimate and special. Upgrading to a room with a private pool is definitely worth it...the main pool is gorgeous but small so it was nice to have our own. They also have a private beach club on Kamala beach...you arrive via Paresa's private tuk tuk. The service is impeccable! Their "angels" take excellent care of you - they really go above and beyond. They even packed us a breakfast to go when we checked out since we didn't have time to stop at the restaurant before our ferry. The cooking class is a must do! Chef Noon is a true gem! We loved our tour of the market and ended up having a private class. The meal was one of our best Thai meals (if we do say so ourselves). A perfect place to spend our honeymoon!
Definitely Heaven of Heavens!”
Upon arrival (after a very smooth and comfortable airport transfer arranged by Paresa), we were given a very nice welcome by Nam and the Team. We stayed at the Cliff Pool Villa which was nothing short of amazing with an almost 180 degree uninterrupted view of the beautiful Andaman Sea with waves crashing upon the rockface below. My wife and I had had a splendid time just enjoying the spacious villa and lounging by our private poolside. Due to the rain, we could not do very much but luckily we managed to have a full day with two very amazing guides - Ah Long & Alif who gave us a very memorable and insightful tour of Phuket! From the Wats to the special 9 Gods Festival where we had splendid vegetarian street food, and a very nice meal at Tunk-Ka Hilltop Cafe, the trip was one of the best day trips we ever had (mind you, we travel A LOT)! We would like to thank Team Paresa for their very kind, warm and sincere hospitality and we look forward to returning sometime early next year when the weather improves for a longer trip! Great job guys n gals and ขอขอบคุณ!
the room was beautiful and it was such a joy to have our own infinity pool. the staff was very polite and after staying in patong prior to this, the peace and quiet was much appreciated. the only thing is that if you are looking for halal food, it is difficult to find in kamala beach area. there are a few pushcarts selling halal food but these mainly operate during the evenings. we ate at the same stall 3 days in a row, where the food is good but selection very small. another thing to note is that paresa is quite a distance (up a winding slope) from the main beach area so some tuk-tuks / taxis might be reluctant to go there. nonetheless these were small issues which could be easily overcome. loved our stay in paresa.
What can I say... this resort is absolutely stunning!! As we are normally budget travellers we decided to splurge this trip and spend 3 nights in an ocean pool villa. We got an incredible price on Agoda for approx. $360 per night.. For this price we'd be lucky to get a studio room in Sydney at maybe a 4 star hotel. From the moment we were arrived we felt like we were treated like royalty. We arrived a little bit before check in time and were asked to take a seat in a sunken area as the staff brought up a welcome drink of lemongrass tea (which was beautiful) and check in form to sign. This was a nice change from having to stand at a reception desk. Our room was about 30 minutes away from being ready so we were taken to the library to wait where we could get a coffee and read magazines. We were escorted out of the lobby down the stairs to where as a welcome we were asked to hit the gong as hard as we could. This was a nice touch. the doors open to unveil incredible 180 degree views of the ocean! We were in awe! Underneath the lobby is the restaurant where Italian is inside seating and Thai is outside seating. A breakfast buffet is also served here which includes continental items such as fruits breads, cakes, muffins, cereals & muesli's, as well as some Thai dishes and steamed buns. A menu is presented if you wish to purchase other items such as bacon and eggs or pancakes etc. Breakfast was beautiful but I was a little disappointed that there were no eggs or bacon included in the buffet. I have to make note of their home made jams (banana & lemon) this was quite possibly the best jam i have ever had!! Food in the restaurant was amazing. We had Italian one night and Thai the other. My husband ordered the ravioli, a Paresa signature dish, he was a little shocked when about 5 pieces of ravioli was delivered on a plate but he was very impressed with it, just had share some of my mushroom lasagne. Happy hour is buy one get one free from 5-7pm. Cocktail price
One of the better boutique hotels we've stayed”
Our family has stayed at properties, large and small, around the world and Paresa is certainly one of the more memorable. We typically tend to seek out smaller boutique hotels and our overall experience at Paresa ranks up there along with One & Only properties as well as De Russie in Rome. While expensive for Thailand, you definitely get what you pay for at this resort when it comes to consistently good (& friendly) service and facilities. If there is a criticism, please invest in training your bar staff, after several attempts to order cocktails, we continued to receive drinks where alcohol appeared optional so gave up on the cocktails at the resort. Location is a bit remote but extremely relaxing and comfortable.
Excellent Couple Resort”
The Paresa Resort staff is excellent and attentive. The villa was private, clean and the ocean view was spectacular. The only negative I would say about Paresa is the location. Once you get into the resort the distance from other things makes it inconvenient to get out of the Resort. We enjoyed our breakfast and dinner at their restaurant the 3 nights we stayed there. The service and food was good but that added another 9k Baht to our trip unexpectedly. But we enjoyed the convenience of not needing to leave the Resort. We definitely would recommend the place for couples but budget in extra $$ for food and potential taxis back and forth from the resort into town.
The hotel exterior and lobby looks very normal, but you can see the superb view after you checking and walking down to restaurant or your room. It really nice view and make you feels really relax. Room -- Very nice view with infinity pool in the room, the bed is superb comfort. As well as the coffee and tea are good. Lastly, Paresa really put lots of afford into room. It made me feel quite warm, home feeling. Restaurant - nice food, nice view, nice sunset, nice service. I can't even know how to describe my best feeling, overall, Paresa really good. Service - Their ANGELS really provide the best services to their guest, as well as the server from each department. Spa - Good massage, good service and nice view. Really good experience with Paresa.
Secluded Paradise, luxury pool suites”
Lovely boutique resort, away from the crowds in Phuket. We stayed with our 7 month old daughter in a Aqua Pool Suite. The suite was lovely, with views over our private infinity pool to the Andaman Sea and beautiful Kamala coast line. If you want to party, don't stay here, as it is a 20-30 min cab ride to the Patong nightlife. But if you want a relaxing, peaceful holiday, and are happy to stay within the resort, this is the place. The food was wonderful, and the leisure facilities were excellent (main pool, gym, spa, library). Other reviews have mentioned that the food and drink prices were expensive by Thai standards - yes, but when compared to Australian prices, it was very reasonable so it was not a problem for us.
Beautiful, serene hotel in spectacular location”
A wonderful 3 night stay - Phuket can be a noisy touristy place (ie. Patong!) but Paresa is a piece of paradise on Millionaire's Mile. The rooms are generous in size, enormous bathrooms with freestanding stone tub gazing out to sea, infinity-edge pools overhanging the spectacular cliffside location, gorgeous restaurant and bar deck with great Thai food, friendly/personal service... all combine to create a resort with true style and personal comfort.
Comfortable and romantic, with fantastic view!”
Paresa had given us a very comfortable and romantic stay for our honeymoon in Phuket. Their room and services were beyond our expectation. We loved their main infinity pool that looks out to the Andaman Sea. Marvelous view! They have a small library and a spa, for those who are looking for more relaxing activities in the hotel. We also loved the feeling of having our breakfast with full view of Andaman Sea. The food was great, and so was the view! We would recommend this hotel for those who wish to spend quiet, romantic times with their loved ones.
Cordial staff, Wonderful view, high privacy, the infinitely pool private dinner is marvelous and unique!”
We spent a wonderful 4days holiday in Paresa. It’s truly heaven of all heavens. We enjoy the quietness and unique location. The staffs are more than helpful and cordial, whatever we need they always do their utmost and make it happen, we really appreciate it. We had a cliff private pool villa with wonderful open view and high privacy. Everything is facing the sea and cliff, our private pool, room, balcony, shower and even toilet(both indoor and outdoor). We enjoy staying in the pool listening to the wave padding on the cliff. And we can feel free to enjoy personal time without being disturbed. And one highlight on Paresa’s romantic infinite pool private dinner, this is something unique and marvelous. We had a very enjoyable time and it’s going to be a lifetime memory for us. The decorate our private waiter prepared, a heart shape made by candles on the wall behind the table, the atmosphere, the food, everything is so perfect. Our private waiter he’s really nice, he helped us take lot of nice pictures. And the restaurant manager, he came to greeting us with two glass of complimentary champion. All three nights we had dinner at the restaurant, and we appreciate that they always reserve us the best table. Also have to mention their SPA which is very relaxing. We had a great time at Paresa, we will for sure come back.
A gateway to heaven”
We had our wedding at Paresa and we helped our 4 friends book this room. The two Talay suites shared the same pool and it's been a good advantage for our friends as they could play together. They were very happy with the room especaily the service and the excellent service provided. We can call the front desk for a kart to go anywhere in the hotel. We enjoyed the pool and the highlight was the infinity pool near the spa centre. With the sunset and the seaview, you would wonder whether you were in heaven. A definite stay in Phuket and you won't regret staying there.
Upgraded for 2 nights to a Dima Spa Suite”
Dima Spa Suite: a separate building from the main Paresa Hotel,a unit as part of a larger villa. Very peaceful. Room was fairly large, the suite came with massage beds, sauna, hot tub, pool, sunbeds. Strong wifi connection. Great view of the ocean. Aqua Pool Suite: we felt more comfortable in this compared to the Dima Spa Suite, perhaps because this was smaller and cosier. the views were great too. Service: Gaew and Aiem were very patient and warm. Other service staff we encountered were always helpful without being intrusive. Room Service: i am not partial to having food from room service (having suffered food poisoning in another Phuket hotel before), but Paresa's food quality, portions was great.
Very enjoyable stay”
This is without doubt the best steel we have been to in Thailand. The entire stay was perfect with very nice rooms, great views and very service minded staff. Rooms are spacious, the views fantastic and you never want to leave. Breakfast is superb, the food is otherwise excellent. We stayed for a week in Talay suite, perfect. If you book Cliff, maybe you can get even closer to the sea, but the suite we had was by far superior. Many thanks to hoouse keeping that taught us how to make towel elephant and monkey (haha) We strongly recommend Paresa, and we will come back if we are going to Phuket, was so sure!
