Ideally located in Midtown Manhattan and just steps from Central Park and Carnegie Hall, Park Central Hotel unveiled an extensive multi-million dollar renovation in October 2013, showcasing refurbished guestrooms, elegant interiors, expansive meeting and event rooms, and public spaces inspired by iconic New York locations. Guests will enjoy a cool and stylish lobby as well as Park Lounge, a signature bar serving tailored cocktails. Central Market, a fine foods grab-and-go, provides guests with fresh and flavorful bites such as Nespresso and New York vendors like Amy’s Bread and Jacques Torres Chocolates. A prime location, elegant interior, and family-friendly amenities are some of the reasons to stay. All 761 guestrooms are provided with 46" flat-screen televisions and the option of Internet access. Guests will enjoy bath products from C.O. Bigelow, a writing desk, iron and ironing board, an in-room safe, and hairdryers supplied with every room. The Hidden Gem of New York”
Found Park Central Hotel as the hidden gem of New York. It's central location, nearby Central Park and in the heart of Midtown is very convenient. The hotel is super clean, beautifully decorated from the lobby up to the room. And what I like most with the hotel is they provided the rooms and public area, in lobby, with advance technology that is very convenient for travelers from different country with different power switch type! Tada! One USB away in this hotel is good enough, I don't have to worry about buying converter etc.
The hotel was in a great location, just a 5 minute walk to Central Park or TImes Square but quite quiet as well. There is a subway stop on the corner. The receptionist on check in was OK, we'd booked a king and she tried to give up a double queen room but having held out ground she grudgingly found one. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom very small. The Central Market on site was convenient for quick breakfast supplies and run but the coffee was poor and all was expensive even by New York standards so we used delis on our way which also varied in price and quality (we don't recommend the nearest which was the Premier Deli).
Perfect location to everything!”
Location couldn’t be better, central to everything including metro. Our room and bathroom was extremely clean, bed comfortable, lots of pillows and towels available. Yes there is scaffolding around hotel - but it is New York....a good percentage of buildings are in the same boat! Wasn’t an issue at all. There is a resort fee per night that really increases the cost — which I wouldn’t have minded so much if there was a coffee pot and maybe mini fridge in the room and a pool or at least hot tub in the hotel, otherwise the resort fee for amenities isn’t worth much, just a bunch of discounts or coupons for things that visitors to the city would never use. That said I don’t know that any of the other places are much different so just be prepared ahead of time. Check out was easy and no issue safely storing luggage before and or after the check in and out process.
City break ”
Great location, walking distance from time square and Central Park with subway station same block - bed was huge and comfortable, room was decent size for New York, that’s our 3rd time staying at Park Central and neve been disappointed yet with staff friendly and helpful, will be back again one day
Good location, value for money”
If you want a good room in New York, you typically have to pay the price. This wasn't the case with this hotel. It's value for money, room was spacious, and most importantly, it was near important locations such as Times Square. It made my tours very easy. Breakfast could be better, but for its price, I'm glad that breakfast was included as part of the package. Would definitely stay here again.
Friendly staff, immaculate rooms, perfect location makes this hotel one of my favourites anywhere. I have stayed here a number of times. Its at the heart of everything, Central Park and Times Square and surrounds all within a 5-10 minute walk. Good size room with pleasant decor and staff whose attitude seems to be to solve any possible problem before it arises. Very comfortable bedding, sparkling bathroom. Surrounded by cafes, diners and restaurants. NQRWE Subway on the doorstep with direct connection to JFK, , bus stop less than a block away. There was nothing I could fault about the hotel or my stay on this occasion. I guess that makes for one of those rare perfect experiences.
Amazing location central to all activities we did enabling us to come back and rest mid day. ”
Excellent to have queen beds as opposed to double beds which most NY hotels offered. Perfect location enabling us to easily go back to the hotel to rest. Love that it was a 3 minute walk from Central Park. Very accommodating staff. The only very small downfall was our room window faced an inner courtyard preventing natural light from coming in. We would stay there again and ensure we had a room that faced any direction of the city. We had a great trip .
Big Bus in front of the hotel”
From outside the hotel may seems old, but inside is really beautiful. The hotel is clean and new! That's what I like with this hotel, with a good deal, getting newly renovated hotel in New York is pretty tough. Big Bus City Tour (also newer city tour) that provides all loops also very convenient as is it just right in front of the main entrance hotel. For supper lover in the city-never-sleeps, the location is very convenient as well as it is only one block away to the famous Halal food truck.
Our stay at Park Central”
We arrived early in the morning as the shuttle failed to pick us up from the airport. The staff was helpful with our late arrival. The location of the hotel was great. We were close to everything that we wanted to do, right across the street fro Carnegie Hall, within walking distance of the theater district and museums. When I return to New York I definitely will stay there again.
Great stay, great location”
Stayed at the Central Inn for 5 nights. The standard rooms were very comfy and spacious although I Was upgraded to a suite which was obviously very nice. Had a great view of Times Square as well. The room sizes are great for NyC. Excellent location, close to the Subway (57th and 7th) and close to Times Square and Central Park. There is no restaurant at the hotel but loads of good restaurants right outside the hotel. One down side is the facilities fee but apparently this is standard at most hotels, so remember to incorporate into your budget. It is $35 excl tax per night. Overall very good hotel.
near subway , central park”
Room comfortable , no need breakfast at the hotel becauee easy to have breakfst outsude hotel.I booked for king room , but have to pre order the tea coffee maker , so that they will provide it.This hotel only 1 block to the central park and few block (15-20 munite) walk to time square..
The location was perfect! Hotel was nice and quiet. Several great places to eat within steps from the hotel. Loved being able to have my morning walk at Central Park. Literally steps from the subway. We will definitely stay here again! Only negative thing about the hotel was the wait at the elevator. There was only 2 servicing the entire hotel.
Great location and helpful staff”
Park Central was a beautiful hotel across the street from my event at Carnegie. The staff was very accommodating from the minute I arrived. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Wonderful place, I highly recommend it.
The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was great and the location was perfect - halfway from Times Square and Central Park. Plenty of places to get a bite to eat close by.
nice. It's near to NY central park and fifth avenue. Clean and comfortable room. However the staffs are very busy to pick up your call
Great experience ”
Fabulous, hotel is close to everything and the hotel itself has decent size rooms and a nice lounge bar area. We would book Park Central again.
Lovely hotel, ideally situated for 5th avenue, Times Square and Central Park. Staff are friendly and approachable and more than happy to help. Would highly recommend.
Great location A+++”
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Park Central Hotel. Staff were friendly, rooms were clean and spacious and location was fantastic
Perfect position ”
Park Central is in the perfect position to visit all the iconic landmarks, many of which are in walking distance. It could do with more lifts as there is a bit of a wait in the morning when everyone is trying to get out for the day. No tea making facilities but a Starbucks a couple of doors away.
I have stayed at the Park Central twice and both times have been enjoyable. I wouldn't chose this hotel if your looking for luxury and recreating at the hotels facilities. But if you are looking for a hotel that is clean and centrally located than this is a great choice.
