I think the Park City Hotel is one of the nicer hotel options within Hualien City itself, given the relative lack of other major hotel chains. The location is very central and rooms were comfortable and well-appointed. The staff were very helpful, and were able to let us check in a little early for my son’s nap and were able to provide us with an infant pack n play upon request. The breakfast buffet was good, although not amazing, as there were limited Western options for small children. It was really nice to have a Kid’s Club in the hotel, although they could use more toys and balls for the ball pit. We liked that there was a parking lot behind the hotel because street parking was not easy to find. There was a smallish earthquake one of the nights we were in Hualien, which was frightening, but the building seemed fine. It swayed a little bit but that was it.

Pleasantly Surprised by this unassuming boutique Hotel”
The hotel is new and everything is perfect for us. The room is clean and has comfortable beddings. There is a laundry room at level 5 with two washer and dryer plus washing powder. Guests may enjoy complimentary coffee at lounge area. There is a Game room for younger children and Karaoke room for booking. Breakfast is good and has a decent spread for young and old. Typical Porridge for older folks too. Hotel is within walking distance to main streets. Enjoyed the serene environment in the vicinity. 10 min drive by taxi from Hualien Station. Staff are awesome and offer suggestions for local food and popular bakery shops that the local frequent. I will stay in this hotel again if I visit Hualien in the near future. Thank you Park City Hotel, Hualien for your impeccable service that leave us fond memories of Hualien. Highly recommended ******

Abt NT150 to get to the hotel from the train stn by cab. Free flow of coffee and tea during tea was of good quality. Provided free washing facilities for travellers going Taiwan for a long trip. Recommended for a stay there when going Hualien. Walkable to night market too!

GREAT HOTEL WITH GOOD FACILITIES”
The hotel was in the middle of the station and Dongdamen night market but it served as a good base to walk around the city centre. It was also relative near the bay. Laundry services were free. Rooms were spacious and clean.

Good hotel in the Hualien city”
Near the night market and other shops which is very convenient for family with 4 , plus they got karaoke room and playroom. Only cost me $2000 per night. Nice room and tidy was much better than I thought

Highly recommend this hotel, price was pocket friendly, staff were extremely nice and place was big though I don’t understand why the toilet is so big. It has a lot of facilities including a playground for kids. Highly recommend this place!

Clean, tidy, fully equipped, good hotel in the city center”
This is a temporary decision of trip to take my family to Hualien, and we are lucky to have a reservation at this hotel. The space in the room is very gor, so there is no sense of oppression. The space of the bathroom is also very generous, and the shower is separated from the bathtub space, especially kid like the big bathtub. The light inside the house is very good, and the breakfast is rich and delicious. The free self-service laundry room and children's playroom are the most noteworthy features of this hotel. It is important to note that the entrance of the hotel is located on the usual two-lane street, so guests who drive a large vehicle may have parking problems (the parking lot is behind the hotel). But it is worth recommending this hotel (I hope to stay at this hotel for a longer time on our next trip)

Hotel transfer from/to train station MUST be arranged one day in advance. I paid NTD150 for one way. Breakfast is good. Nice pantry area. Lobby is big with many sitting area. Free laundry service. Notice day staff not as friendly as those on night duty. Ms Cherry is especially friendly and helpful. Hotel can arrange a scooter for rent at 400/day. Convenient.

Pros : Excellent Hotel we would say is the best hotel, we have stayed throughout our Taiwan trip. as we have been swopping hotels throughout our vacations From Taipei > Kaoshiung > Hualien > Back to Taipei for our final stay before flying back to Singapore. In total we have stayed 4 hotels and we did a benchmark for all our hotel. We would rate Park City Hotel as #1 for Room Comfortness and amenities provided for all our hotels we have stayed. The staff in the hotel are all welcoming and friendly to us. Overall we just felt that the hotel needs to improve on the breakfast buffet offering, we felt it does not match other hotel standards. Such as the lack of "Western foods in breakfast buffet" Example "Western fried rice, fried eggs,omelette Smoke Sausage, Waffles, Hotcakes"
