Facility is old, buffet is not worth it”
Staffs are friendly. Packed simple breakfast for us knowing we checking out at 5am to catch our flight. But overall is not value for money.. facility is old especially the room carpet.. the crab provided at the buffet is tasteless, I didn’t even finish 1...
Great food, great room , Great staff”
buffets and onsen were very good. Kindly staff and good Location
Good thing - convenient store at ground floor. Good Onsen at lower ground floor. Room was spacious and windy when u open the window! Bad thing - no nonsmoking room.
Hotel with spa facilities”
Short distance to everywhere. Room was great but i found a long hair on the floor. Toilet is small and soundproof is very bad. Disturbed by nearby guest whom keep talking and knocking at their friends room whole night. Free buffet was great especially the milk coffee and ice cream. Nobody seems to go to the spa as it is empty when i went twice. Might be the ventilation. It is so bad till you see smoke everywhere and you cant see the people infront of you. Overall experience is still great .
Onsen is a MUST TRY”
slightly away from the bus station and shopping district, but hotel does provide shuttle bus to bear park and aquarium. There's a konbini in the hotel for you to shop, prices are decent. Breakfast is good and onsen is also very nice.
Great location walking distance to shopping street and hell valley. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Quality of the onsen / hot spring is absolutely wonderful, soothe my joint problems which I had for years. Quality of hotel buffet is simply amazing, free flow of giant crab legs, sashimi, fish roe etc. Great value compared to the sister brand "Hana" next door. Will stay here again
Nice onsen bath hotel”
The hotel locates in front of the bus stop so quite convenient for those travel by JR and bus as its the last stop (so first when you departs for JR). The hotel room is cozy but a bit small compared to other onsen hotel (still good enough for 2 persons). Room smells no cigarette (for non - smoking) unlike some onsen hotel where there is no separate smoke /non - smoke. Outdoor onsen bath is nice. Dinner is tasty and not too crowned. Overall is good experience. PS: there are not many restaurants in Noboribetsu so not sufficient to serve many tourists: thus, better prepare food from sapporo.
Reasonable price comparing to other hotels. Good location with bus stop in front of the hotel. The staff was very helpful as when we first arrived, we got the Japanese style room which had bad smell in bathroom and the staff changed us to the new room (but we got smoking room even we’ve booked non-smoking room.. but we’re just too tired to carry our luggage). However, the buffet and onsen were good.
great vintage place centrally located near the town center ”
great place although somewhat old and vintage that it needs some refurbishing but still great for those whose looking for a quiet place. buffet breakfast and dinner are pretty good although the crab legs aren't fresh (frozen and defrosted) and the food varieties doesn't differ from the other day / night. location is pretty much central near hell valley and the foot bath (which needs a short 20-30 minute hike).
The onsen is so disappointing.
Natural hot spring hotel”
Good food and good onsen
I stayed there for 1 night, there're dinner and breakfast included. I booked 2 rooms. Staff are really good hospitality! *Reminder there's no air-conditioner in the room and it quite hard to breath because the room need to be closed even the outside temperature was cold enough. Everything was very nice, I appreciated to stay there. Seafood buffet for dinner, still good. In my point of view Japanese Breakfast not that delicious but we were ok with it (The breakfast time is just till 9am only) so need to prepare well. Unfortunately, I didn't get enough sleep here. Both 2 rooms need to open the window to get air inside our room and can't sleep because the sulfur from there is very very strong, we can't sleep all night because of that. My rooms were on the highest floor which there's no non smoking room left, but they prepared air-refresher for us, no smoking smell in the room at all, but the SULFUR SMELL was really bad for us otherwise, this will be good for us.
Regretted staying here”
Requested quiet room as I am a light sleeper, but gave me room next to lift and facing a ladies and men's toilet. Room very noisy as other guests talked loudly while waiting for lift. And room is not soundproofed. Has tea bags but no kettle to boil water. Bathroom has very strong urine stench and smell. But Onsen at basement is good and Reservation Service Team is very responsive and prompt on how to reach hotel from airport. Improvement needed by check-in staff to check special guest requests and Housekeeping on bathroom smell.
for Ryokan room, 3 people. the room is not too small. onsen totally seperated men-women but outdoor onsen has no view . breakfast and dinner are buffet and included in. bus stop is in front of the hotel. not too far to walk to the attractions.
booked Japanese western. quite spacious for 2. nice view. onsen are nice and they gave u horse oil shampoo, body soap n conditioner. went there at 12midnight. probably only 2 to 3 person. rooms n toilet are very very clean. 10mins walk to hell valley.
Worth to stay”
Location is near hell Valley by walk 5mins , breakfast and dinner are buffet style and delicious. Especially dinner buffet have provided king crab legs and melons. Room is okay. Hotel have Onsen and we enjoy it. Overall worth to stay.
The onsen is so nice, but there are many group tour guests which makes the onsen place so crowded every night. The staffs are nice, but I think they should provide some shuttle service information to the guests... As walking to the footbath is a long steep slope which elderly may not able to walk along. But when i asked about the shuttle information(which I searched online and i know there have shuttle bus), they just said you can only just walk to there. They should consider about people who cannot walk too long.
Overall was great!”
Our room was big and spacious enough to fit 3 of us in 1 room. Room was very tidy! Worker will help you to set up the tatami during your dinner time. Their tatami is very comfortable. Toilet is quite small but very clean. Dinner was awesome, serve with sashimi, hokkaido crab, melon, tempura, beef and so on. While the breakfast also very good. Both dinner and breakfast have variety of choices, very worth! Other than that, every room have yukata for adults with different sizes, yukata for child can be collected at the lobby. They also provide parking for those who drive. There's a lot of parking on site, so you don't have to worry. At the lobby there also got a souvenirs shop. Just about 10 minutes walk, you can reach Noboribetsu onsen street which was quite happening at day time and night time, with a lot of restaurants, drug store, convinience shop and so on. However, all rooms are smoking room, they don't have non-smokig room but it's still ok for us as the smell are not that serious. Overall this hotel is superb! Definitely will stay here again if we travel to there again.
Mineral hot spring was the best”
We got room on the high floor, it had nice view of mountain and small creek. The room was a little bit small but we still enjoyed it. The air was fresh and clean, no need for air condition. Staff was friendly. The breakfast and dinner buffet was great. The crab legs were small. We enjoyed the sweet Hokkaido melon.
Great onsen facilities. Free breakfast and dinner buffet (unlimited sashimi, crab legs and so many more). There are also multiple attractions nearby to visit during the day! Great place for travellers trying to relax and still get some sight seeing done!
