Amazing Service, Very Comfortable”
as soon as we arrived we knew we had made the right decision about the park hyatt. we had just traveled from the north of japan where we were snowboarding and prior to that 3 days in tokyo at another hotel on tokyo station. both the park hyatt and the other hotel are 5 star but the ph is in a class all of its own. and slightly more affordable. the lobby on level 41 features a very nice garden cafe and bar flowing into an open restaurant and through a library into the check in area. it's spacious and comfortable. all the staff have local knowledge about transport, shopping, tours etc and are never to busy to help. we had a standard basic king room with plenty of room and a large bathroom. there is enough closet space to put bags and clothing away leaving a room with a desk, beautiful, comfortable bed and sofa. the bar has plenty of drink and snacks stock with complimentary drip filter coffee. the breakfast is excellent. lots of healthy fruits and muesli which we like and plenty of pastries and other dishes. i loved the gym and pool area. you have to see it to understand how amazing the floor to ceiling glass opening up a great view while you train. this is an expensive hotel but unlike the other at tokyo station, the park hyatt represents great value.

Lovely Hotel, Poorly Located”
It is a wonderful hotel, but it is best suited to people with money to blow. For example, the hotel is a good 10-15 minute walk to the nearest station - you'd be better off taking a taxi; however, cabs in Tokyo are notoriously expensive and the drivers aren't familiar with most locations/addresses. If money is no object, this is no problem. If you're on a budget, be prepared to do a lot of walking. The hotel does have a free shuttle service to/from Shinjuku station, but you do need to reserve your place on it. Getting into the hotel is a bit of a mystery for first-timers - we entered the building from the wrong side and wandered for a bit before finding reception on the 41st floor. This isn't a major issue, it is just contributes to the perception that the Park Hyatt is intended for the wealthy. The staff really are wonderful though - extremely helpful and polite. The rooms are luxurious too - the hotel has earned the reputation of being the best hotel in Tokyo although others are better located, better priced, if not as exclusive.

Just as good as you expect it to be”
Definitely the most expensive hotel I have stopped in, but worth every penny. Superb location, amazing amenities and the staff attentive and personable without being sycophantic. Room upgrade (thank you Eveline) was much appreciated. Afternoon Tea is excellent value for money and the Jazz later in the evening was superb. Nothing was lost in translation from what I expected and what the Park Hyatt Tokyo delivered.

The epitome of Luxurl”
Our stay at the Park Hyatt Tokyo was amazing. The staff was wonderful – friendly, helpful, and spoke English. They were aware that it was our anniversary and were quick to offer us a “Happy Anniversary” whenever they saw us. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. Staying at the hotel was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan— five star luxury at its best!

Best hotel we've ever stayed in”
Arrived tired after a long trip from Kyoto for the last 2 nights of our honeymoon. Front of house staff were aware of this and congratulated us as we were helped to our room and shown around. It's this level of attention that's the norm there. Room - large, stylish, massive comfy bed, nespresso coffee (we had missed our coffee so much!), big bathroom with large tub and separate shower, dressing room and all this with an incredible view over Tokyo. Pool/gym - complimentary unlike so many others in Japan. 2 gym rooms with amazing views out over the city. Pool warm enough for kids to bob about in but not too warm if you train properly. Split into 2 lanes for lane swimming and 2 lanes for whatever. Never busy. Bar - on the top floor. Amazing views at night. Extensive cocktails working out at around £11 each. No cover charge and live jazz every night. Great end to an evening. Restaurants - we only ate at the Japanese restaurant. Again view amazing. Food was presented immaculately, very tasty. Portions slightly larger then we were used to from traditions Japanese places but this is probably as they cater for plenty of westerners. Slightly more expensive then eating out but we were happy with the price. Probably the third best meal we ate in 3 weeks and we are food people (went to Japan for the food and weren't disappointed). Concierge - had dealings with multiple incredibly polite staff who all spoke excellent English. They helped us booking restaurants and the recommendations turned out to be excellent. Very knowledgable about Tokyo. Overall - best place we've ever stayed. Went the extra mile to make our honeymoon perfect. We will be back

Impeccable Staff”
I came in on a slightly rainy night and as I came in trudging (by time i made it through customs and the N'EX got me to Shinjuku it was after 9pm, and I chose to just walk) up the driveway, the staff ran down to meet me and take my luggage and led me to the lobby. That's where the attention to detail starts. Whenever you leave the hotel, there is staff telling you to have a nice day, when you return they're there to greet you and welcome you back. If you have questions about where something is, they'll get you going to where you need to go (even if it's the nearest combini at 3am). It's not too far from the Shinjuku station, (it's definitely walkable, but make sure you exit to the right and not the left) but they have a shuttle that will pick you up and drop you off across the street from the station. Will definitely stay again next time I'm in Tokyo

Pleasant stay with attentive staffs ”
OUr stay at Park Hyatt was very pleasant. The hotel has very attentive and friendly staffs with good language skills, which is hard to find in Japan. Dining options with superb breathtaking view are available in the hotel itself. The only thing is the hotel is a bit far from the subways, but luckily the hotel provides shuttle service to nearest Subway station. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

A slice of heaven”
i'll admit from the top that one of the main draws for this place was the film lost in translation. it was strange walking in rooms that i've seen in the film. on the other hand, the level of service and class implied in the film was well experienced on our trip. the room was fantastic - we were lucky, as a request from my partner for a free upgrade (made in jest) resulted in us getting a room with an excellent view of the city. we stayed at the end of our holiday, so with our fatigue at its highest, it was was easier to eat in. the room service food was sublime - pricey, but as expected for a 5 star. the beds were comfortable, and the facilities of the room were top notch. getting to spend the evening at the new york bar was the icing on the cake - we had the pleasure of watching a typhoon from the safe and warm confines of the bar. lovely cocktails. we really didn't want to leave and we will certainly be using the park hyatt on our next visit.

beautiful hotel, amazing room!”
We had a good stay at Park Hyatt! The room is stunning with a great view of the city and sophisticated decor. Their Japanese restaurant is fantastic. We are vegetarians and we were a bit in the beginning as their menu doesn't really have vegetarian options. When we raised this issue to the staff, she immediately checked with the chef, and we ended up having fine, delicious vegetarian Japanese cuisine!

You get what you pay for”
we thought we'd live it up in japan for a few nights, and this place delivered. it seemed that we were paying a lot for the room, but by the end of the stay it seemed worth it. the service was very attentive, the free shuttle to and fro train shinjuku station convenient and the honeymoon freebies were a very nice touch. we probably wouldn't stay here again, purely do to price, but whilst on honeymoon and on a 'money is no object' bender, this is one of the best places i've ever stayed. i recommend it to all honeymooners.

Perfect Hotel in Tokyo”
It was such a great experience staying at the hotel. We really love the view, the ambiance, the room and the bathtub were very beautiful, the hotel is quite private and the staffs are very friendly and helpful at the same time. Definitely will be going back there when we visit Tokyo in the future.

World Class Hotel !”
Me and my wife really like everything about this hotel. Especially the room, it was a big one, even the toilet was big. Love the Mount Fuji view from our room, it was simple breathtaking view. The service was great also. It was such a wonderful experience to be in the hotel, if we have a chance to come back to Tokyo again, we have no doubt we will stay in this hotel again. It is a world class hotel, trully remarkable !

Fantastic hotel with amazing view”
We had a great stay here. Room was fantastic and great for our kids (4 and 7). There are restaurants under the hotel in the shopping centre if you dont want to pay 5 star hotel prices. Its a little away from most things, although there is a free shuttle to the train station. Japan may not be the best place to take small children, and the highlight for our kids was probably the big play area in the public park opposite the hotel

Excellent experience”
I have to say this hotel is worth the money. The exclusivity, the attentiveness, the onsite facilities, are all rare in many top hotels. However, the staff make it really easy for guests without intimating you. That's really nice soft skills. I haven't thought about staying here, even I travel to Tokyo at least once every year. Now I will start coming back.
