Best hotel experience is made by talented staff.”
I stayed 3 months in Europe from Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Czech Rep. and Switzerland. I have been experienced more then 40 different hotels during 3 months and only 2 hotels (one in Paris and the other one is this hotel) gave me unforgettable service and experiences. Some staffs were caught by me not returning whole cash deposit back and some More specifically, J. Adhikari greets us when we check in. She was super fluent in check in process and she listened us and solved all our concerns. Since we stayed more then 4 days, we could meet her in front of elevator one more time by chance. As she remembered us and chat with cute smile, we felt really warm and welcomed by the hotel and even by Germany. I know for sure, what customers remember the most is hotelier's kind welcome after all. Thank you Adhikari!! You are a true private diplomat and a true jam of Park Inn by Radisson Berlin Alexanderplatz.
The best place to be in Berlin.”
Located at, or rather in Alexanderplatz, which is the real happening lace in Berlin, with the bus stop, the underground, tram and taxi stand just outside the hotel, Park Inn is a very well located hotel. All the historical monuments can be accessed by the hop-on hop-off bus, which is only €15 per head. Taxis are very reasonable with an airport trip costing €30. The rooms are a bit small, but very clean and most comfortable. The only deficincy is the lack of tea/coffee self service in the room. I would go down the Burger King and get coffee for my wife in the morning. That, however, was not really a problem as Burger King is in the hotel. The elevators are high speed and covered the 28 floors in 30 seconds. The breakfast was a very large, sptious spread consisting of A huge variety of breads, cheeses, eggs, cold cuts, juices, tea and coffee and fruits. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this East Berlin hotel to anybody. And, I will definitely stay th
Very Warm Welcome in Berlin!”
This was our first visit in Berlin and apparently we made the right choice of staying in this hotel! We arrived early and we were allowed for early check-in and got the best room overlooking the TV Tower. Very nice, friendly and helpful staff, the hotel location is also within 2-3 minutes from Alexanderplatz train station and bus stops (basically in Berlin we only need to ride TXL, #100, and #200 buses to travel to any sightseeing spots) so it was very convenient for us. Night time is also very lively downstairs since the hotel is in front of Alexanderplatz square which has many shopping malls, convenience and department stores and a lot of public activities and attractions. Definitely will stay here again during our next visit in Berlin!
Reasonably Good Hotel for First Time Visitor to Berlin”
Stayed here for 5 days in early August, solo traveller, first trip to Berlin. Hotel room is a little small but newly renovated and clean, staff spoke excellent English and were helpful, hotel is located right on Alexanderplatz. Alexanderplatz itself seems to attract a lot of...um..."colorful" individuals but it's a historic site and location, personal safety doesn't seem to be a problem. Directly across from the hotel is a department store where you can by toiletries and food; within the vicinity of the hotel there are no pharmacies if you need soap, shaving items, etc. From the airport take the TXL bus to Hauptbahanhof railway station, then inside the station go up the stairs and take the S-Bahn (elevated tram) directly to Alexanderplatz. You can also go to/from the airport by taxi for about 25 euros. Breakfast buffet is 19 euros which sems a bit expensive, but is well-stocked. Would stay here again. The hotel is within walking distance of many major sites: Brandenburg Gate, Pergamon Museum, the Opera House, the DDR Museum, the Tiergarten, etc. Even in August, I found Berlin a bit cold so bringing a sweatshirt, hoodie or sweater is a good idea.
Junior suite”
Me and 2 friends stayed in the junior suite at the Park Inn and were very impressed with the facilities at the hotel. It's in a prime location in Alexanderplatz which is a buzzing part of the city. Will definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Berlin!
We had a real good time in Berlin”
We read a lot of reviews and decided to book via agoda the park Inn Hotel for our short visit in Berlin. We have to say, we were really happy. Great location, I guess lucky with the c/i and c/o because we didn't have to wait at all. The room on the 8th floor was perfectly fine for our needs. Clean, dbl. bed, N/S, with bathtub and shower, enough TV channels, good HSK service, Breakfast was incl. in our booking and we enjoyed it and it gave us a great start for the day. Everybody will find something. Around the hotel you will find even at 1:00am still places to eat something, you can walk within 15 to 20 min. to a lot of Berlin's great sights. Do the City tour by bus or visit one of thousands museums. By the time we come back to Berlin we will come back to the PARK INN HOTEL. Always remember: You will get what you pay for and here we got more than we expected. Thank you
Great location and view over Berlin”
We enjoyed our stay at Park Inn. The room was clean and smell good. Had an amazing view since we stayed on the 29th floor. The elevator was kind of too fast though. We always felt sick when going up and down, they really should do something about it. The bar at the ground floor was really nice. Very warm and cozy atmosphere. They have good cocktails, but the food (I had the Australian beef filet) wasn't quite satisfying. Overall it was worth the price. You are in the middle of the Eastern centre of Berlin, Alexanderplatz, and everything is reachable in 2min walking distance.
Ideal Location”
Park Inn Hotel is ideally located in Alexanderplatz, walking distance to the TV Tower and the Dom Cathedral - underground station exactly in front of the hotel. Room not big but adequate, service was helpful and hotel is clean. Only thing is the shower door - they are transparent and in certain rooms the person in the toilet is visible through a kind of glass door. The shower thing can be a big problem if one is not that intimate with the person/s they are sharing with and the toilet thing is just not on. There is a curtain which can seperate the beds area from the showering area
Best View in the City! Highly Recommend Staying Here.”
I stayed at Park Inn for 5 nights in July. Our room was on the 34th floor and we had the perfect view of the city. We were directly opposite the tv tower, and could also see down into the main square of Alexandraplatz and the cathedral in the distance. The room itself was lovely, always spotless, extremely comfy beds, a few news channels in english, some small toilettries were provided by the hotel, fresh towels every day and a free safe. Only small downside is the privacy of the toilet/shower. Although it is made of frosted glass you can still see the outline of people, so definitely worth noting if you're staying with people you're not very comfortable with. The location was better than we could have hoped, surrounded by shops, near the train stations, and only a short walk from excellent places to eat and some of the big tourist attractions. The hotel staff were always very friendly and helpful, I would definitely recommend staying here.
Great location”
The high rise hotel is located in the most happening part of Alexanderplatz, and a walking distance to other tourist attractions. The subway line is just outside the hotel. The room is quite decent in size and we got a room facing the tower Berliner Fernsehturm. The only drawback is if you need wifi you have to pay extra and even that the speed is just too slow.
Superb Hotel”
Excellent room, very helpful staff. Couldn't be closer to my intended destination - the Berlin Congress centre. Alexanderplatz rail station within 150 metres taxi to/from Tegel airport 22 Euros each way on the meter. More than ideal for the intended purpose.
Busy but Great location.”
Located right on Alexanderplatz. Walking distance to major tourist sites. Had a fantastic view from 19th story onto the plaza and Berlin skyline. Very busy lobby due to all the tour groups - still pretty nice set up and would recommend it for location, service and price.
Great hotel in berlin”
Enjoy a lot, just in front of alexanderplatz train station, easy to everywhere to circle around berlin. Nice hotel view to berlin tv tower. On top floor your see berlin from above
Comfortable in the city Center”
The hotel in at the Alexander Platz. Very central located. One thing you have to take note off. There is another Park Inn by Radisson "blue" at the other side of the square. All the sight seeing is walking or short drive distance. There are many restaurants and bars in the neighborhood. The hotel is comfortable. Only for the "cheaper rooms" wifi needs to be paid extra (Eur 16/day) which is as always a bit of a disappointment.
Clean, Comfortable and Convenient”
The staff member who greeted me at the check in counter was most welcoming on my arrival. If you have Club Carlson card, internet is free, otherwise you pay. The room on the 30th floor had a great view of Berlin, weather permitting. A great shower with enough room to move and plenty of hot and strong flowing water. Room was comfortable and clean with a good selection of International TV. Easy to get around Berlin from this location and the information counter on the ground floor helped me everytime with the most basic of tourist questions without a fuss, well done to them. Breakfast on the second floor was excellent with an wonderful variety of food to fill your stomachs for a winter’s day in Berlin.
amazing stay!”
i could not recommend this hotel enough!!! my partner and I stayed here during a trip around Europe and this was our absolute favourite hotel! from the second we arrived we received such happy genuine customer service, the lady at the desk was cheerful and offered us tips about what to do. When i booked online i had asked for a room on a high floor, she advised that the highest they could get us was the 15th floor but instead she had upgraded our room so that we had a city view. The room itself was great, clean and comfy, perhaps the only suggestion is that a kettle would have been nice in the room as we did not have breakfast at the hotel, being able to have a coffee when we felt would have been nice. Hotel itself was SO EASY to get to from the airport, a bus took us right outside the front and the hotel is located a 30 second walk from Alexanderplatz train station which was so convenient, not to mention all of the shops and food around the area! cant wait to return one day!
"Nice hotel with perfect location"”
The hotel is just 100m away from Alexanderplatz station where you can go anywhere in Berlin. It also surrounding by shopping center and restaurant/bars. The hotel is very close with Berlin Dom, Reithstag and many interesting tourist attractions. The bad is that there is no free-wifi or free-internet.
Central Very Good Hotel ”
The hotel was very nice and clean but I didn't have any meals there as we fund them expensive so we had our meals outside. The room again was very nice and clean. The bed was setup as singles but next to each other and were of a large side. The down points were that there were no drink making facilities, cheep thin towels and the wifi was very expensive. You have to search around for free wifi and its not easily found (bad mark for Berlin). The hotel was in a good central location classed as the Eastern Side of Berlin and close to the tourist attractions (bus) railway links, shops & restuarants but not so about pubs. The restaurant serve the basic food you expect from Germany (Berlin), you either like it of loth it. They do very nice sandwiches and cakes. Overall I would use this hotel again for comfort and location.
Nice hotel with central location”
We had a great stay in Park Inn, good service, nice room and very central location in the middle of Berlin where everything happens. Only bad thing is we had to pay for internet.
Great location at an affordable price”
My stay at Park Inn was very pleasant. The rooms weren't so big but they had everything we needed. The shower was very nicely done in marble and a shower head from the ceiling. The shower and toilet were basically "in the same room" as where you sleep but they are separated by glass and a curtain. The beds were comfortable although the pillows weren't comfortable at all, most people would ask for a second pillow as a single one will just get flat. We never ate the breakfast buffet but we heard from some neighbors that it was really good! The view was excellent from the 20th floor and the hotel was basically right next to both the U-bahn and S-bahn. Taxis were always waiting outside the hotel and in case you got hungry at night, there was a very delicious Kebab-place around the corner called "Döner inn".
