Superb Hotel in Beijing managed by excellent staff”
We had a most enjoyable stay in Beijing's Park Plaza Wangfujing Hotel, attributed to 3 reasons: 1) Excellent hotel staff; 2) Great hotel location and 3)Comfortable and clean room. We were so fortunate to meet Mr Moya Fu, the excellent Hotel Rooms Manager, who managed the check-in process very professionally. He was most helpful and efficient in assigning us a beautiful and quiet room according to our request and he made us feel very welcomed. Throughout our 3-night stay at Park Plaza Hotel, we met with excellent service provided by the hotel staff (concierge, room cleaning, restaurant and more). It is so rare to find a hotel where every staff tried their best to serve their guests. The room was clean and beds very comfortable. The hotel's location made it easy for us to travel around (by walking or by subway). We would like to thank the staff of Park Plaza Wangfujing Hotel for making our trip to Beijing a most memorable one. We will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends.

Second to none outstanding quality prompts service”
Booked this hotel on a whim after looking at so many. Booked a superior room for 4 nights 9 Nov at 01.58 hrs, departing 11 Nov at 0010 hrs to Beijing. On arrival Hotel staff at entrance was very helpful and courteous, at the Front desk there was a short queue while waiting I noticed staff at the check in desk were very friendly and professional. Came my turn all I mentioned was booking in the name of James and before I could present my Hotel Voucher was told they have my reservation and registration form ready for me to sign. When I handed the Hotel Voucher was told is not necessary as all is in order. I inquired about internet access in my room was informed I have to pay CNY 150 for 24 hrs, however FREE WiFi is available in the Lobby. I was offered to upgrade to Club Floor for which I have unlimited internet access in my room, daily buffet breakfast for 2, free access to the Club Lounge anytime during the opening hours, with free drinks, coffee and tea and cocktail hours with snacks and finger food spread inclusive of wine, liquor, juice, soft drinks, coffee and tea. Daily Free pressing of a 2 piece suite and all for an additional of CNY 308 + 46.20 taxes and service charge per night. A quick calculation was made for my reference and was professional advised to take this upgrade for which I happily agreed. However, my room was not ready as I was early for the check in nonetheless was informed that they will try to get the room ready within an hour and I can go have drink compliments of the hotel. Hotel staff speaks English pretty well. What an awesome experience!!! Wrote a personal letter to the Hotel Manager, append his acknowledgment. Thank you for staying at Park Plaza Beijing Wangfujing and for taking the time to write to me. It gives me great pleasure to read that you were pleased with our services and facilities and your stay was an enjoyable one

Attentive hotel staff and decent room”
We arrived in the middle of the night and was greeted by 2 attentive staff. When they knew that my baggage was delayed, the hotel took the initiatives to help me contact and follow-up with the airline. That aside, the room is fairly well maintained and the hotel is located above a train station. There are a few mid-range local eateries and restaurants just behind the hotel, and a starbucks located conveniently downstairs. Location wise, while it is within the Wangfujing area, it is quite a distance to walk (approx 15mins) to the main Wangfujing shopping area and night market. To walk to the Forbidden City took even longer (25mins). You would probably frequent the Wangfujing area as several of the recommended Beijing restaurants have branches there (I visited the place at least 4 times during my my 7 days stay) We also tried their in-room dining and ordered the standard American breakfast. Sadly, the food was below average standard in terms of presentation and taste.

Nice hotel !!!”
park plaza was my 2nd hotel stay in beijing during my business trip. although i just had a night staying in this hotel, it has already left a good impression with me. comparing park plaza with the other hotel (jianguo hotel) which i have stayed for my first night in beijing, the latter is much much better.... location wise is great, just 10 mins and you can get to the famous wangfujing walking street etc. along the way, there are many shopping malls, restuarants, hotels, cafe, pubs etc. the hotel provides free wifi, which is one of the plus point. the room is well designed and furnished, and the bed is very comfortable comparing to other chinese hotels' that usually provide relatively "hard" bed. overall, i would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone that wish to travel to beijing. i will consider to stay in this hotel again, even though my preference is to stay in different hotels (try out different hotels) whenever i travel.

Superb stay ”
Service was excellent, we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and it was a really nice surprise to be given a oriental wedding theme room. Towels were folded into loving swans and there were matching soap, bedroom slippers, lamps and even a banner. We thought that was all but it didn’t end there, we receive a lovely cheesecake and fruits the next day. Wow wow wow we were truly blown away. Location was great, 2 mins from 灯市口Station exit C. 2 Starbucks across the road and surrounded by a few pricey but excellent restaurants. Otherwise it is about 600m away from Wangfujing street where there are a huge variety of retail and F&B outlets. Hotel is very well maintained, good bed, great selection of pillows( there is a pillow menu), great shower pressure and the cutest cotton ear bud with a digger end. A big thanks to the Staff and Management of Park Plaza Beijing (PPB) , you have just made us PPB converts.

Amazing hotel and service in a great location”
The Park Plaza is an amazing hotel. It was reasonably expensive even for Chinese standards, but the expereicne was second to none. The room was origially a standard room but I was offered a room upgrade to a suite for a small extra charge. The suite room was AMAZING. huge bathroom and living room and bedroom. Close to all the major attractions including Wangfujing Street, Forbidden City and many many resturants and shopping centres. About 45 minutes taxi to the Indoor Skiiing slope.

Lovely hotel, just a bit on the pricey side. ”
I stayed in Park Plaza for 3 nights in April. The hotel is great and I would recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a 5* hotel in the Wangfujing area. The hotel is walking distance from the shops of Wangfujing and the sites around the Forbidden City, it is also right next to the metro which makes it very convenient for getting around Beijing. It's a bit pricey, but I think you get what you pay for.

great hotel!”
The room is very clean. The bathroom is very spacious and clean too! Location wise is great, I can get my shot of caffeine in the morning because starbucks is right in front of the hotel. Concierge is quite knowledgable and willing to leap the extra mile to help on our reservations. The hotel is near wangfujing area. If you don't know wangfujing, it is the tourist area, sort of like orchard road of beijing. There are plenty of more upscale malls but if you are a tourist, you might find this place can be pretty interesting. We stayed in Sheraton Jiuzhaigou before we stayed here. Sheraton costs us a bomb but this park plaza is WAY better than Sheraton. Definitely gonna stay here again if I visit beijing.

Excellent Choice, Perfect for Mid Range Budget ”
I stayed in room 616 and overall it's an excellent solid choice if you're in the mid-range budget. There are places that are cheaper (<50 USD/night), but I don't think it'll be this comfy. This place makes me feel like sleeping in a 5 star but only paying fraction of it - very value for money (paid about 80 USD/night after Agoda discount voucher - originally 90 something). You can also stay in more expensive hotels (200-300+ USD/night), but I don't see the need for that after experiencing Park Plaza. Location: - Literally 2 mins away from the metro gate Dengshikou - Wangfujing street is about 3 blocks away, but Tiananment is a long stroll (20-30 mins - but who visit Tiananmen everyday anyway? as long as near metro, you're fine) - Cab driver can find it easily (I printed the hotel name+address in Chinese and map) - Seemed to be upscale location; we literally saw 2 couples in the same afternoon taking pre-wed pics at Jinbao street. And there's a lot of high end car showroom on the main street as well. Room: - Bed was comfy, not hard as I heard in other hotels in China - Room size was quite big; did not feel claustrophobic compared to hotels in Japan - Design is modern, kept clean. TV is LCD flat screen, model from 2 years ago so relatively new. - The wall is quite thick although you can still hear sound leakage from the hallway - but not a big annoyance - Water pressure no issue. Air con also fine (controllable in each room ). - FREE internet (although I did not try due to no laptop) Service: - Booked via Agoda, check in/out was no issue - we did get the king bed in new tower as requested (so your note during reservation is attended) - Did not try the room service but when I asked for a bucket of ice, they come within 10 mins - Most staff speaks English, if someone is confused with your question they will immediately get someone else who speaks better English to attend to you - No safety issue, we placed our items in safety box everything is intact. We use

Excellent Hotel!!!!”
Loved the stay at the Park Plaza Wangfujing Hotel. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Check in, quick and easy and reception staff had decent English. Location of the hotel is excellent with lots of restaurants around and big shopping malls nearby. We decided to upgrade to club level and very glad that we did - breakfast and happy hour are free as a result. One thing I also wanted to add, is that this is a non-smoking hotel, I did not get a whiff of smoke in the rooms, lobby, restaurants or elevators. This was very pleasant considering the number of smokers in the city. This is the best 4 star hotel in all 4 star hotels i ever stayed. Good price and good location, excellent service, good food and staff super friendly, words just cant tell you how it fell. GO and stay in this super friendly hotel,, you will love it !!!!!!!!!! This will be our future hotel whenever we go over to Beijing for holiday.

Epic Birthday Staycation! ”
We have stayed at this hotel twice and I have nothing but great things to say. Firstly the location is very good, there is a starbucks located right opposite as well as an Irish bar across the road, and about a 10 minute walk from the large shopping area of wangfujing and a bit farther along to the forbidden city. More importantly there is a subway station 'Dengshikou' basically attached to the back of the buildings. (Also if you haven't used the subway before it is amazingly efficient and easy to use. Every ride is 2kuai, simply go straight to the ticket booth, hand the lady 2 kuai and she will automatically give you a ticket)and off you go around the city. Back to the hotel..Once you enter, it feels very luxurious, while there are cheaper options the $100-ish price point is well worth the high end experience. Helpful concierge, and friendly staff, the rooms and bathrooms are very large and are equipped with all the usual necessities. When we stayed we were offered an bonus package that cost about 300kuai that included, happy hour from 5:30-7:30 drinks and snacks on the top floor, the buffet breakfast and a 4pm checkout. As we were just staying for the one night for my birthday it was well worth it! take advantage of them all and you'll leave smiling :) Also the buffet is very good, a large selection of chinese and western foods, a egg station where the cook makes your eggs fresh, and a lovely dining room to enjoy. It's worth it. All in all, always a fantastic stay! Negatives: While I get room service menus and mini bar snacks are typically expensive, we found theirs to be a bit crazy. 40kuai for a small beer when a large one at the shop down the street would be 4kuai.

Nice hotel just around the corner from busy street”
The hotel features nice clean well maintained rooms. I was very glad that was able to accommodate me and get room ready early so I could check in without waiting for official check in time. I arrived very early in the morning. Majority of staff at the hotel spoke English so communication was not a problem. Hotel is also located near Dengshikou subway station so travel around the city was a snap. You can get to most of the attraction quickly and inexpensively. If you prefer you can also walk to the Forbidden City and Tianammen Square. It will take you about 15 minutes. Wangfujing Street is around the corner and it is worth the visit especially small side streets with all small vendors selling anything you can imagine.

Nice hotel with helpful staff”
i really enjoyed this hotel. the room was a good size with a king size bed. i was on a high floor but did not have a good view. this is walking distance to wangfujing street which has a lot of vendors and has side streets with many stalls. walking down the main road you will arrive at the food market and can try all of the local food. there is a starbucks across the street which was extremely convienent. they wanted to charge me for breakfast/access to 15th floor/ higher room/and happy hour but i did not take the up sale as i knew i would not be at the hotel very much. the american breakfast and was more than enough for just me. the staff is very helpful with directions and speak english. very helpful and even gave me his contact in case i had any trouble with taxis when going to the acrobat show. this is also very close to forbidden city and tianaman square. you can prob get a ride with the motor bike people or grab a taxi as it will be cheap. overall i enjoyed my stay and would recommend this place to others.

First Time In Beijing, Travelled Mid-March 2018”
We booked a superior room, and it was a great surprise! Room was excellently clean and spacious enough for us both, and amenities are complete! Hotel management really give excellent service with great attention to details. There was just no central heater but hotel readily provides extra blankets if requested, clearly it was not an issue for us. The different kinds of pillows are also very nice. Front desk allowed us to check in to our room early, around 12 noon, it was so nice of them to do that. It allowed us to enjoy their lunch buffet at Bloo with in-house guests' price, which has a very very delicious buffet spread. The lunch started off our excellent experience at Beijing. Hotel is near the Dengshiku station which makes it very accessible, it's also a 5-8 minutes walk to the Wangfujing pedestrian street where you can see a cultural mix of old and new Beijing. At the front of the hotel is a Starbucks outlet. Hotel lobby staff are very friendly and readily assists guests.

For first timers in Beijing stay at this hotel”
Comfortably warm & friendly ambience as you enter the hotel lobby. Easy access for taxis so it was convenient when you want to go places. It has clean rooms, great showers and attentive staff. Restaurants and shopping areas are all very close by. If you need an English Speaking guide in Beijing, please call Linda Zheng +8613691598802, she is such a friendly and helpful person. If you intend to travel to Xian, to visit the Terracotta Warriors Museum, take the HighSpeed Train. Purchase your tickets at the Tourist Information Office just down the street before The Forbidden City. We stayed for 6 nights, and for a first timer, we enjoyed our holiday very much... I would stay at Park Plaza Wangfujing again if I have the opportunity to return with my family.

we spent an excellent week at the park plaza wangfujing. it's a really comfortable hotel and we had a lovely clean room. we chose it for its very convenient location right next to a subway stop in central beijing, very close to wangfujing street which has many malls and restaurants. the area was quiet and safe at night.

Marvellous hotel with great location & service”
This is our 1st time travelling F&E in Beijing. We wanted a hotel with reasonable size (2 adults & 1 child), with wifi & near subway as we will be travelling alot on our own. Did some research & Park Plaza fits our bill...infact more than what we had expected. What a pleasant surprised! During check-in, we were offered to be upgraded at a price which includes daily breakfast for 3, use of computer room & daily refreshments 5pm-7pm (like snacks, pasta, drinks, red wines) at the hotel restaurant. We glady took it as we have read some reviews that the breakfast is not bad & moreover we hate the idea walking under the cold winter wind searching for food! The rooms & toilet were clean, there's no wierd odour unlike some rundown hotels. Though the breakfast variety ain't huge, the food taste good, normally we find hotel's breakfast sucks but this is one of the better ones we had. The subway entrance (u got to look out for it as it is not clearly labelled) is conveniently located just 100-200m behind the hotel. Ask the staff for back door to the subway otherwise u'll have to walk extra distance. The hotel is also within walking distance to Wafujing & you can take a stroll in the evening to the food street..just walk straight down along Regent Hotel (which is infront of Park Plaza). Overall, a very pleasant memory & we would stay in Park Plaza again as it is also competitive priced if you don't want to burn a hole in your pockets...I am sure there are better hotels but a much more expensive.

Lovely Hotel, Service and Location”
We stayed at the Park Plaza Wangfujing Hotel for 5 days at the end of April. - Check in and checkout was efficient - We decided to upgrade so our stay included breakfast and their happy hour – which made it quite worthwhile - The location is right next to the underground subway system which was quite convenient - Most of the “touristy” things to see in Beijing were located quite close to this hotel – you could work to Tiananmen Square if you choose - Service was great – regardless if it was the front desk, the door man, concierge etc – everyone had a smile on their face We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this hotel with no issue.
