Nice and Peaceful”
We arrived at Hue on the early afternoon of the 30th of December from the tourist-filled town of Hoi An. Picture this: grey, sunless skies and barely any traffic and people. Naturally, we were disoriented and as we drove towards our hotel (which was a couple of meters from the "center"), what we saw only grew more depressing. We immediately felt Hue was not for us. Despite this, we had a pleasant stay at Park View Hotel. The staff was very efficient and helpful. The rooms were very clean and spacious. We had a balcony overlooking the outdoor pool (which no one used because the weather was too cold), and a large window. Wi-fi was fast and reliable. The television had a wide variety of local and international channels. There's a hair dryer provided as well as tea facilities. There were small stains on the bathtub though. The hotel is a bit outdated and looks like it has seen brighter days. The locks used to be electronic but were changed some time ago to normal key-in locks. Breakfast was decent with local and international food. They didn't have good coffee though.

Nice quiet relaxing stay !”
I had a terrific stay at Park View Hotel! Although the hotel was filled due to a Festival in Hue I was given a very nice quiet suite by the General Manger. The breakfast buffet is huge ! Both Asian and Western foods. The hotel restaurant is great for lunch and dinner. I booked two tours (Citadel and DMZ Tours) by the hotel and was very satisfied.Very nice pool to relax at.The hotel staff is very efficient and is able to communicate in English very well.If traveling to Hue,I highly recommend The Park View Hotel.You will not be disappointed !

Excellent value, good breakfast, good location”
This hotel was easily the best hotel we stayed in in Vietnam. It was also really good value for a 4 star hotel. It was cheaper than a 2 star hotel in SaPa!! We had a higher room and a lovely view of Hue. The balcony is tiny but there was a large window to see the sights. Buffet breakfast was very good and efficiently run by a very good manager. The tours are 4 star prices so better to buy elsewhere. There is a large and quality vegetarian restaurant next door. (in the same building)

This hotel is very clean, with the most friendly helpful staff I have ever come across.They truly went out of their way to help us in every situation. The pool area is well maintained and free towels are provided for your use breakfast is extensive and well stocked. An Oasis of Calm in quite Hectic Hue!

Very good value for money”
This hotel was partly in renovation so everyone was lodged in the new wing and the rooms were spacious and clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and the pool had nice cool water. There were 4 computers in the lobby for internet use and free wifi in the rooms. The staff was friendly but not overly. This is supposed to b a 4 star so what you would expect, only the price was 3 star. It was a nice relaxing stay, no hickups. It is a little out of the center of action, about 20 mins walk from all the restaurants. Overall, I would stay here again for the same price, it was a very good deal. The taxi service they arranged was as cheap as in the other cheaper hotels. Only the laundry service was on the expensive side.

Great Family Hotel”
Pro's...... great location, brilliant friendly and helpful staff. Views across to the Citadel and park. Swimming pool is cleaned daily and is very safe for children. Cons.... city centre location so a bit noisy. Decor and carpets in hall ways need refreshing.

I wish I could stay longer.”
We had an amazing stay at this hotel, I was a little upset having to leave after staying an extra night already. We are backpackers who wanted a break and luxery was what we got here. The price on angoda very good for a 4 star hotel with breakfast included. Break feast has something for everyone and is displayed beautifully. We didn't book any tours with the hotel they were too expensive for us however we were not pressured which was great. They have a gym also with a\c TV limited working equipment but it was always quiet when I went. Staff were very friendly and helpful to us. I would recommend this hotel!!

Great Hotel”
We were suprised and pleased with the hotel. Our rooms were lovely and looked out over the pool and a park. It was an easy walk to the touristy area, but nice to be away from it. Found the staff helpful and courteous. Was a little surprised how quiet the restaurant was in the evening and then they were out of most of the desserts.

A good yet uninspiring hotel.”
The hotel is solid yet uninspiring. The hotel has all the relevant facilities for an international traveller but felt more functional than welcoming. It was extremely quiet and I cannot remember sharing the lift with or seeing another guest on the same floor. The hotel felt cold and unwelcoming which may have been down to the décor, the large square rooms or the matter of fact interaction with the reception staff. The hotel was clean, comfortable, felt safe and the breakfast was plentiful and varied. On the downside the nightlife and restaurant areas were a good ten to fifteen minute walk away and internet connection was slow both on Wi-Fi and on the computers located in the lobby area. If I was to stay in Hue again I would probably look at staying in another hotel.

Good value accommodation but decor a bit tired”
The hotel was adequate, but nothing special. Rooms were fairly comfortable , but the decor was a little tired. There was no buzz - tour groups moved through and on to their coaches, the restaurant was frequently deserted at meal times. This was largely to do with the way Hue worked as a tourist destination, but I felt the hotel was coasting rather than trying hard.

We stay in Junior Suit and We were very impressed with the room and the location. The hotel close to everything (and yes it is a small town anyway) Staff were helpful. Big selection of breckfast choices. Laundry services were done professionally (with the price!!).

A pleasant staymade better”
It was a pleasant stay, I encountered problems with wi fi and to be honest they were very helpful with what was a difficult problem. The room was clean and functinal, the pool was a bonus. The 9thfloor restaurant was the star attraction, fantastic views to the mountains and the mst beautiful food preparedfresh to order from the delightful Hoang Anh, manager and chef there. She was so lovely and I just couldn't eat it all but I tried. Reception was good and helpful with Mihn a real stand out performer, very helpful indeed. The General Manager even took me to the airport at the end of my stay.

Would return again”
The room was booked through Agoda at the last minute. Room was ready when I arrived and provided everything offered (including the safe that was a shell casing and replaced within 15 minutes of telling the front desk.) I would recommend including breakfast as the spread was the best encountered among multiple hotels visited in Vietnam. Less known is the vegetarian restaurant in the back by the pool, which is excellent.

Hue parkview Hotel”
A new hotel located a tcentral area of Hue city with walking distance to the Perfume River & fother tourist places. The service particuarly in catering was generally below standard. The staff at resturant seemed not in good working spirit & talking to each other & neglected request from customers. WiFi is available at room with no extra charge with good speed to internet. Room was clean, big & newly facilitated. Room at higher floor would let you escape from the motorbike noise soecially during midnight period.
