AMAZING!!!!! ”
From the moment we pulled up we were in love, then we saw our room for the night and we were hooked. We are actually going to base our master suite off this room when we build again. The rooms are pure luxury, from the big snuggly king size bed, to the fireplace and even the window bench seat. We just loved everything about it. Would highly recommend and when we come back to the Blue mountains we will definitely be staying at Parklands country gardens and lodges.
Beautiful and breathtaking garden”
Apart from the usual 4-star facilities, this country lodge was charming and pleasant in her own ways. As a starter, the staff at reception was efficient and friendly. I did not manage to get his name but he was very helpful. The loft room was spacious, giving the feeling of an actual apartment. Everything about the room was great except that the complimentary coffee was rather disappointing. There are at least 4-5 different types of tea for selection but there was only one type of sachet coffee which was rather sad. I echoed on others' comment about the sitting area next to the window, which I thought was a brilliant spot for reading. The country lodge is situated in the middle of Blackheath which is a quite town at Blue Mountain region. There was not a lot to do at night but it was perfectly okay for me. The breakfast was pretty good with a choice of cooked breakfast from the ala carte menu. The check out was a breeze. I left with a desire to come back again.
Wonderful stay!”
We really enjoyed our stay at Parklands Country Gardens and Lodges. The location is perfect - in a small town out of the way of the tourist traps but still close enough if you do want that. The facilities are limited but that's not a major issue as you're there to experience the beautiful surroundings. It would be better if they offered lunch and dinner as well.
A little luxury tucked away in blackheath”
Phenomenal service, gave late checkout. Very clean rooms with nice tea & coffee amenities. Comfortable bed, ambient electric fireplace and double shower with luxurious shower pack. The rooms are gorgeous! The only thing is that the gravel carpark for guests' cars is quite loud inside the rooms. It would be better if just concrete *although less aesthetically pleasing). It's also a shame that Parklands only serves breakfast and does not have a bar/ restaurant for dinner. No fear, Vesta is about 400m up the road and has phenomenal food! Make sure you take a few minutes to stroll around the grounds, there is a great duck pond! Would absolutely stay here again. Feel rejuvinated and relaxed after my stay at Parklands!
Perfect Stay”
We stayed 2 nights at Parklands and had a wonderful and comfortable stay. Even though on arrival we discovered that we made the booking 1 month later by mistake, the staff was very helpful to give us another available room and make us feel welcome. The location is perfect and quiet with lovely surroundings. Rooms with very nice interior and spacious.
amazing service from the staff”
The personal welcome was amazing by the friendly staff. Lovely apartment with fireplace is perfect to stay in winter in the mountains. Make sure you enjoy their warm breakfast. Nice garden with wild cockatoos.
Disappointing room design”
The upstairs suite in the vila does not have a broad window view over the parklands, or even the gardens. A strange high bedlike structure sits below the high window in the gable. You could clamber up there to peek out the window or view the tree tops from the floor. The bathroom sink was tiny and very high for such a big bathroom. There was only one towel rail. We could hear the guest coughing in the downstairs suite. Lovely breakfast and comfort in the main house but nicer to hang out in ones room if only there was a view.
Exceptional”
Lovely stay in this charming lodge. Ideal for couples. Staffs were nice and helpful. Rooms are cosy and comfy and there is a huge beautiful park.
Do not stay here!”
I was happy when we first arrived. The room was nice and warm and very clean. I called to ask what time breakfast was to be served and was td that this was not included in our stay. I paid $600 for 1 night and they could not provide us breakfast. It is not worth the $600. There are much nicer places to stay in the blue mountains for much cheaper and that provide breakfast for free.
Beautiful setting, service and facilities lacking”
The setting is amazing, and the lodge well-maintained, but the staff are inattentive and don't know the local area or attractions. The lodge provides breakfast, but you have to go out to get dinner, even in the middle of winter, as there is no dining service or room service. Rooms are lovely, only complaint is uncomfortable bed.
Good but room for improvement”
First impressions were dissapointing- we walked into reception for check-in & another guest had been waiting for over 5 mins to check-in but no receptionist anywhere. After a few mins she called the hotel main number to let them know people were waiting to check in but they just kept transferring the call to reception, we stood whilst the phone flashed and rang, rang, rang. Not a great first impression. Eventually checked in, entered our room (which still had the "service me" tag on the door) the room looked tired but we were particularly shocked to find the interconnecting door open & our next door neighbour stood looking in our room. Gave me a bad feeling about the room so headed back to reception to change rooms (which was no issue) & given a new suite (twice the size with two TV's and was immaculate). Initially we thought soundproofing was going to be a big problem as a family downstairs came back & we could hear every word & doors banging, my heart sank but we think they checked out & was completely peaceful after two hours. If they were there throughout our whole stay, we would have checked out of the hotel as it so intrusively noisy. I would suggest a hotel with no restaurant supplies a couple of side plates and a couple of knives for those who wish to have cheese and wine in the evening- we ended up having to go out for dinner & Tuesday nights not much open, we drove around for over an hour which was a bit of a downer when would have preferred to sit in front of the fire snuggled up with nibbles but we didn't have a single plate or knife. On check-out the receptionist didn't bother to ask how our stay was, it costs nothing & makes guests feel like you actually care. It has good bones but could be improved.
Great place to stay at, nice getaway”
Sits in a beautiful garden and the fireplace was great. However limited food option and facility.
excellent stay with great value for money”
the garden suite is gorgeous with a spacious garden. the interior is great as well with cozy ambience.
Great stay!”
Overall, a great place to unwind with luxury. Location was great, the loft room was pleasant, and staff was incredibly friendly. Would definitely recommend, however only on special occasions due to price.
A Quiet cosy haven”
A well-presented French style accommodation that had a fireplace in the room with the right amount of cosy nooks. Loved the modern, thoughtful interior design of our rooms, well maintained and clean. The staff were friendly and professional. Didn't get to try the breakfast/dining at the accommodation itself, which we will do when we stay here again! Overall a nice relaxing winter getaway for our rare weekend off.
Beautiful!”
One of the nicest rooms I've ever stayed in. The fire was wonderful and the location just beautiful. So worth the money if you are a couple looking for a nice weekend away together. Wish this place was around when I got married.
Hidden Gem”
Wow a little hidden gem, location and property were excellent. Rooms are well appointed, clean and beautifully styled. Will definitely be back for a winter getaway.
Nice House”
We spent just a night over this beautiful house surrounding gardens, It was a nice walk around and stay...
Mid Winter Birthday Break”
Our stay was very relaxing; peaceful and refreshing. The only issue we had was that the sensor light outside our suite stayed on all night, which was sleep disturbing. We let reception know but the following night it wouldn't go on at all!
So relaxing”
The staff was really friendly and helpful. My husband enjoyed his spa treatment and we went home feeling refreshed. We will be back when the flowers bloom with our friends 😊
