First choice for family!”

The property was booked last year but a day before our travel, the city went into locked down. Luckily the owner allow us to change the date last minute. We brought forward the dates and Jo was very helpful with the last minute bookings. We took the whole big house, one common foyer with two separate entrance for both units. A connecting door to access both units is on the top floor. It was very convenient to accommodate big families. Huge window with balcony allows us to enjoy the mountain view from every corner of the house. A short drive to the gas station, more or less 15 minutes to the foot of Mt Ruapehu and 45 minutes to Ohakune.

Fantastic place to stay... great location, wonderful design of building... very comfortable... stunning views.. well appointed with cookware etc.. The view was amazing.... sunrise on the deck was sublime!!
Small niggle...BBQ didnt work... other than that the place was perfect!!...

Lovely modern apartment with all essentials provided to feel like home away from home Close to Whakapapa skifield (15min drive) It’s walking distance to Four Square Close to some fab eateries Host was very responsive to some minor issues we had We will stay again and have already booked for next winters ski trip! We had a wonderful time at the apartment.”

The host was quick to respond to our questions. The apartment is perfect as a "base camp" to discover different parts of Tongariro National Park. The apartment has a wonderful view of Mount Ruapehu, but the weather was very bad during our stay and only on the departing day we had a chance of seeing it.
The driveway into the property could use some additional gravel and leveling.

Everything was perfect except the main bed was very uncomfortable and had a big lump in the middle. I am not fussy with beds but this one was not nice to sleep in!

Location fantastic, amazing view of Ruapehu, cafes and grocery store nearby (check hours as its a very small community so limited opening hours) great base for exploring the area.
