Convenient and great location”
I had a great time staying at Parmelia Hilton Perth, our room was the old model, I heard some complaining about it I was worried. It turned out the room was nice, big, and comfortable. The bed was so nice I couldn't get up. My friends' room got tooth brush(just 1), we had none, but we brought our own. There were slippers in the room which was nice, cause other hotels in Perth you wouldn't find it. The valet service was quick with reasonable price! Within 10 mins walk you could reach the shopping area in Perth City. I loved Parmelia Hilton Hotel! Definitely stay there next time I go to Perth!
Exceptional Staff”
On arrival we were informed our room had been downgraded and initially both my husband and I were concerned. Due to the inconvenience we were offered, free breakfast, a bottle of bubbles, free movies and sincere apologies. Our stay at the hotel was exceptional, I commented to my husband that it was nice staying in a hotel that still has the attention to detail, friendly staff that have a wealthy of knowledge of the surrounding areas and are happy to advise and share that knowledge. In recent times my husband and I have stayed in apartments because we feel lots of hotels have lost the that hotel charm. This was definitely not the case on the weekend and we would like to give all at the Parmelia Hilton, Perth a thumbs up for their excellent hotel. Thank You
Parmelia Hilton Review”
I would recommend this Hotel to anyone who loves to indulge in, in room dining because the choices on the menu are excellent. Even if they dont have what you may desire on the menu itself, they do their best to cater for you. The rooms itself are quite comfy and clean, has a well equipped gym and a good pool. Most of all, the staff are quite friendly and helpful and this really did provide a vibrant atmosphere for us during our stay at the Parmelia Hilton hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Perth for any reason whatsoever, of course, as long as it is within your budget.
Perfect location for the Convention Centre”
We were offered an upgrade to a King Hilton room on arrival, for a small fee. The reception lady was friendly and efficient. The room was large, with a sitting area in one area (couch and TV) and bed and TV in another area. The room was clean and nicely decorated, for a hotel of its age. The shower pressure was excellent and the double basin was handy for our pre-event preparations. We were able to walk to the Perth Convention Centre via the overpass, so the location was perfect. We didn't try the breakfast as we were able to enjoy a sleep-in in the cool and dark room. The room service menu seemed pricey but we have not stayed in any other Perth hotels recently, to make a comparison. We would have loved to have stayed an extra night, to explore more of our home city, but were unable to, due to family commitments. My wife left her phone charger in the room and called housekeeping the next day. The staff member indicated that they would check the room and would call her back, but unfortunately a call was not received.
a night out and a short walk to our favourite hotel”
My wife and myself always choose the Parmelia Hilton to stay overnight in. Great rooms. Great buffet breakfast. Great staff. Valet parking. Next to the Esplanade Busport and train station for connections to anywhere around Perth. A short stroll to the Elizabeth key marina.
Clean, big room with comfortable bed”
Stay at Pamelia Hilton was wonderful. Both the porters upon on our arrival and departure were very helpful and pleasant. Thumbs up for that. We were in a rush to return our rented car but want to drop off our luggage before that so we really appreciate the help and initiative from the porters. Room itself was big, clean and the window allowed plentiful of sunlight in. Hotel offered Peter Roth Thomas toiletries which was delightful. Bed itself was very comfortable. A pillow menu was available. However, room service took quite a bit of time to deliver our pillows, we’ve to call again after a 30 minutes’ wait. Downside is no free WIFI and no complimentary mineral water. Located in CBD area so no restaurants opened over weekend, but it’s small issues because it’s only 5-10 minutes’ walk to perth city. Excellent stay. Will certainly recommend this hotel.
Enjoyable One Night Stopover”
We had a lovely overnight stay at the Hilton Parmelia hotel. This hotel is very centrally located within Perth and accessible to a lot of the sights and attractions of this beautiful city. The room was spacious, clean, and modern. The bed was extremely comfortable. Buffet breakfast was included with our room and provided a good selection of offerings to get you started for the day, including a juicing machine which I had not seen at a hotel breakfast buffet before. The self-service checkout was also very efficient and the staff friendly and helpful. The only negative for our one night stay was the valet parking charge of $55 to put the car in the hotel basement. We could have left the car out on the street over night and avoided this excessive charge!!
Perfect!”
parmelia hilton perth was lovely as always. great, efficient, friendly service, gorgeous, spacious rooms, nice bathrooms, delicious breakfast.... comfy bed.. the list could go on!
Comfort ”
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Parmelia Hilton in Perth. All of the staff were very friendly and I would recommend anyone to stay there on a visit to this beautiful city.
Convenient, large bed for 2 adults and 1 toddler ”
We loved our 2 night stay at the Parmelia Hilton, it’s a short 10 mins walk from Elizabeth Quay bus station, we took the airport bus 380 from terminal 1, each adult A$4.80. Our king size bed is a super king size and fits the 3 of us with plenty of space to be comfy. Shampoo and body wash are Crabtree and Evelyn brand which is lovely. Our room came with a bathtub so it’s a good hot soak especially during winter. Breakfast is a good buffet spread, my child enjoyed the babycino drink (it’s hot milk with chocolate powder dust on top) thank you! The staff passed my daughter a cute kangaroo doll which she really liked. We recommend this hotel for parents with kids.
Still a lovely hotel!”
We booked Parmelia Hilton mainly for the location as it was within walking distance to Elizabeth Quay. The room was neat and tidy and we even got a small view from our balcony, even through the receptionist said that most views have been blocked by many buildings being built around the hotel over the years. She still booked us in to a corner room on the 8th floor facing the river and we were pleased with this. Bed was comfy. Only downside was our air conditioner was very loud but we were able to turn this off as it was not needed on the night. Also, be aware that parking in the CBD is very expensive so we opted for valet parking (after looking at all our options) which is also expensive at $55AU for a 24 hr period. We would like to thank management for allowing us to park the car for longer than 24 hours as we went to the One Day International Cricket Match on the Sunday and couldn't pick up our car until 5.30pm. This was no problem for the hotel and was appreciated.
Simply Hilton”
We truly enjoyed our short stay in Parmelia Hilton. We managed to grab a great friday night deal (AU$119 per night). The location could not be better - close to everything. Room decor was a little bit outdated but of very good quality as you would expect from Hilton. Supplied toileteries were amazing. If I had to pick the main gripe it would be rather expensive parking and WiFi.
Well above average ”
We have stayed at a few Hilton Hotels - mostly Europe and UK and found the Perth hotel to be equally as good as the others - they have all been of a high standard ( as you would expect ) staff are friendly - attentive and customer service is always good. Having said all that - car parking is expensive - $50 a night for valet parking - hotel does not have self parking facilities and public parking around the hotel is very limited and also expensive. but if you dont have a car use the good city transport system to get around .
great hotel”
Every time I go to Perth, i stay at the Parmelia Hilton Hotel. It good value for money considering hotels in Perth are quite expensive and most of them are not worth it. nice location, good quality and not too noisy at night. I would definitely recommend it.
Great breakfast & bed but no car park”
When i first arrived at the hotel, i was quite dissapointed because there was no car park provided. Only valet but it costs AUD50/24hours. They ask me to park my car in Perth Convention Centre, about 10 minutes walk & parking rates are quite expensive. I had a hard time to find a parking space because there were Christmas party everywhere and stucked in the traffic. The receptionist & the bellboy was friendly and the room, amenities, entertainment, etc was the best. They've served me an awesome breakfast!
Stunning 5 star hotel”
it is a genuine 5 star hotel, and was extremely well priced for us. great location for just about everything in perth city. just a short walk away from murray street for a bit of nightlife action. could not fault the service or the condition of the rooms. for such an old hotel it is very well maintained.
It was an elogant, comfortable room.”
We only stayed one night as we had a wedding to go to, we are from Perth and know the area well so we wernt there for any Holliday activities. The room was quite pricy but well worth the cost, it was furished very comfortably and was a great size, much bigger that most Perth hotel rooms we have stayed in. The 11am check out was very nice after a big night out and the breakfast was just divine.
lovely hotel”
we stayed for three nights and enjoyed it so much! so close to the perth city shops. they accidentally forgot to bring up extra sheets - we called up for them. so they apologised and gave us complimentary breakfast buffet the following morning. the room is well decorated and everything was up to date. i would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Good quality central Hotel”
I stayed at the Parmelia Hilton for two nights. I arrived around 10.30pm and the service upon arrival was very good. I had booked a very good rate on Agoda as the usual price for this Hotel is quite expensive and was surprised I received an upgrade to a Queen room on arrival which was nice. The view from the room wasn't great but I wasn't worried as I didn't spend much time there anyway. I had room service one night which I was very nice with prompt service. Overall I would recommend this Hotel as long as the rate is good, only downside is the lack of parking nearby and the expensive valet parking rate at the Hotel.
Perth Parmelia Hilton”
the Parmelia Hilton is an excellent choice of hotel for the business traveller, but has limited appeal for families and leisure travellers. Its main attraction is its downtown location that offers easy access to most of the CBD. A guest is able to walk to many of the main office locations from the hotel and if there are destinations further afield, ther adjacent taxi stand ensures a minimum waitng time. The dining options in the hotel are excellent and the staff is attentive and helpful.
