well designed and clean. better if they add curtains around the bunks to give some privacy and better sleep. i was just lucky that nobody else was in the dorm during my stay. All the other aspects are good.

Gets The Job Done”
Just your standard run-of-the-mill hostel. Nothing will really blow you away but the as the title implies, it "gets the job done." Standard bunkbeds require you to make your own bed. Each comes with an outlet and a light but no privacy curtain. Bathrooms are satisfactory at best, we unfortunately witnessed some horrific missed attempts on the two of the toilet seats simultaneously but that's more on the fault of the guests than the staff. The common area is quite spacious but the vibe was a bit sleepy (probably because it was over Chinese New Year). Finally, location is decent, equidistant between two MRT stops and across the street from a host of bars and clubs (and restaurants, which are technically everywhere anyway)

Lovely hostel”
I booked the 8-bed mixed dorm but it felt like I had a hotel room for myself. I love Pathways Hostel's location since it's along the highway (Jhongshan 2nd Road), it's in between Central Park and Sanduo Shopping MRT stations, has a bank at the ground, near 711, Coffee Wake Up and Lingya Night Market. it's just on the 3F so elevator does not take long to come. The hostel is very clean since shoes are not allowed inside and they will provide you an indoor slippers. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and showed me around after I checked in. They provide each guests with key card and locker. They have a common lounge and a kitchen and even provide bread and jam for sharing even if I did not book for breakfast. Wifi is fast, air conditioner is cold, and it's the first hostel I had been that provides hair dryer, very useful after a night bath.

Exceptional”
Pathways Hostel is an awesome, chill spot for travelers coming in and out of Kaohsiung. The staff are all super friendly and have wonderful recommendations on things to eat and do in the city. The place is clean, and the hangout room is large with lots of tables and windows. They also have a big kitchen you can use with free toast and jam in the mornings. All in all, an awesome stay for a great price!

Pathways hostel is a new opened hostel, with the newest equipment, enthusiastic hosts, and great location (10mins walk to Central Park station and 5mins walk to the night market). The room cards can be used as ipass card (for subway and Cbike). Pathways has spacious social room for people to relax, might become a multiple exhibition room in the future! It's been my honor being the first few guests staying in pathways. Will definitely visit here when I go to kouhsiung next time!

Pathways hostel is a nice and warm place to stay. They are well-equipped with every machine you need as a backpacker. Moreover, staffs are all kind and willing to help. The location is easy to find and convenient to your next stop. By the way, this hostel is an lgbt-friendly place where you can just be you. So, if you are deciding where to stay when visiting Kaohsiung, Pathways hostel is definitely the best choice!

Basically is a new Hostel locate in the best area in the City near to the Biggest Shopping area, Park and 2 night markets. The Hostel is absolutly Lovely,full equiped,a huge Lobby,Hall and Kitchen,thick mattres,and the best there is the Staff.I spent 3 nights there in the dormitary room and i really enjoyed my stay there.Free food(noodels,coffe,tea and bred with peanuts butter),fast wifi and showers with shampoo and gel. Honestly,one of the best hostel i've been in Taiwan. Guys,don't think too much about it, you must to come here!!!!

Nice hostel”
Need a little walk from subway station to the hostel, but it's accessible to a lot of foods around the place. Suggest to install some curtain at each bed for more privacy space. Staffs are very friendly and very secure place.

Great value stay for business or leisure ”
Booked the single room and felt for the price I pay, it's worth the value. Adding to the fact that they provide free flow of drinks and instant noodles which actually adds up to their operational cost. No tv in the room, but a big one in the living lounge area . Recep staff has great attitude and hospitality, and they provide slippers for you to use during your stay which you can bring back after your stay.

A truly great budget hostel”
Very cool retro sort of midcentury look to the common room, spacious, plenty of seating. Location just 5 minutes from Cental Park MRT station, and very close to shopping, restaurants and snacks, lively area. Good wifi. Small lockers in the room and key card room door. Hot showers, always available even on busier weekends. Staff were all very helpful and friendly, especially the woman with long hair that always wears dresses, she was awesome. I stayed thrice and will stay again next time in KH.

It was easy to find, however do not expect much since the price paid is quite cheap. No towels provided, and you have to make your own bed (put the pillow/bedsheet and comforter covers yourself) when you arrive. Bathrooms are adequate, but floor gets wet very easily if there’s alot of people. I stayed in a single room and there were no hooks for me to hang my towel or jacket.

A long walk fr d park”
3 long blocks fr Central Park and a little shorter fr the shopping district station. Only 711 nearby 24h store nearby. One needs to walk at least 2 blocks for local eats. Staff were very polite and helpful- while I was checked in. Once checked out, I was asked to stay at the common lounge where the ac was turned off instead of sitting by the reception. 🙄
