“Value-for-money hotel”
2025.6.20 Today is the last night of our stay at this hotel during this holiday. Since we have to drive a long distance to Chumphon tomorrow, we decided not to go out. The restaurant this morning wasn’t as crowded as yesterday (when there were a lot of tour groups), so we easily found a seat to eat. After finishing breakfast at the hotel, I took my daughter to play in the hotel’s game room. In the morning, there was a free activity for children to make toy lanterns in the game room. My daughter made a beautiful green lantern by herself, and she was very happy. I think staying here is really worth the value; we can enjoy many things without leaving the hotel. At noon, I took my daughter to play in the hotel’s swimming pool. Since my wife said she was hungry, we ordered Thai snacks and boiled pasta at the pool bar. The Thai snacks tasted good, and my daughter ate a lot, but the boiled pasta (shown in the photo) had almost no flavor; the broth was basically plain water (not salty, not sweet, no seasoning). So we only took a bite and then didn’t eat any more. I don’t know if that is how the dish is supposed to taste or what, but we just couldn’t adapt to it. Since we will be checking out tomorrow morning, I wanted to summarize our stay here. That is, if we have the chance again next time, we will consider staying here first. Although the room rate is not low, the hotel’s facilities, services, and activities are all worth it. I suggest if you come to Phuket, don’t miss this hotel. You won’t regret staying here. 2025.6.19 This morning, I took my daughter to the hotel’s game room as usual. To my surprise, the hotel’s senior customer service manager and the game room manager came to inquire carefully about what happened on the 17th and apologized to us. The customer service manager addressed the feedback regarding our stay over the past few days and listened to our opinions, stating that the hotel would improve on the shortcomings. I actually think that what happened on the 17th was a matter of the quality of the guests, not related to the hotel, but I still suggested to the customer service manager that it would be best to install a surveillance camera at the entrance of the game room. As I mentioned before, regardless of whether it’s the hotel’s fault, the game room is part of the hotel, and if some unpleasant incidents happen later, the hotel would definitely have to bear corresponding responsibilities. However, having a surveillance camera would serve as a safeguard for the hotel itself. Regarding my daughter’s loss (her beloved shoes were damaged), the hotel thoughtfully gifted my daughter a plush elephant (the one she is holding in the photo) and created an apology card with a drawing of the bunny doll on my daughter’s flip-flops. This level of service surprised me; it’s rare to find hotel services that can be so perfect. In over six years of staying in many hotels in Thailand, this is the first hotel that pays so much attention to guests’ feelings. My daughter was extremely happy after receiving the elephant plush, and her sadness from losing the decoration on her beloved shoes has eased a lot. Honestly, we are very grateful for the hotel’s kindness, and we feel that choosing this place as our vacation accommodation was a very correct decision. However, to prevent encountering poorly behaved guests again today, my daughter was afraid to wear the new Labubu shoes I bought for her on the 17th to the game room and chose to wear the pair with only one bunny decoration left instead. She said this way, bad people wouldn't be able to damage her new shoes again. Today was also the first time we had lunch in the hotel’s restaurant. The food seemed quite nice, and the prices weren’t too much higher than those of outside restaurants, falling within an acceptable range. Perhaps due to the senior customer service manager’s request for improvements, the black mosquitoes on the balcony seemed to have disappeared today; at least it’s much better than before.
