In one word - wow!!!”
We got upgraded to the superior villa. Huge bedroom and a living room with equipped kitchen. Everything was very clean and neat. The staff was extremely nice and let us have a shower long after the checkout. Would definitely go back again.
Close to the action and quiet”
Pattra Vill was in the middle of everything but far enough away that it provides for a quiet night sleep. Super clean rooms and very spacious. Would be good if there was some poolside service. The living room furniture was really uncomfortable but otherwise the room was great. Staff excellent, breakfast was ok at best and reasonable value for money. Generally we found Koh Samui overpriced compared to other Asia destinations. Glad we went to Koh Samui but doubt we will return.
Quiet & Amazing in a central location”
This place is fantastic! We arrived early and they checked us in straight away. The location is perfect! It's a couple minutes walk to the beach and as soon as you walk a few steps your in the middle of a lively street with restaurants and bars ( we didnt hear a thing when we was in our room!) I will be recommending this resort to everyone that wants to visit Lamai. Pros: Quiet location and not out the way. Staff was helpful and very nice people (especially Lek). We had the pool to ourselves most days. Cons: TV didnt have many Eng channels (We didnt come to watch TV so it wasnt a problem for us). There is also no bar (But theres a hundred plus as soon as you exit the resort) Overall 9.5/10 Will definitely be back when visiting Koh Samui!
We‘ll definitely recommend it to our friends!”
The staff was very very friendly and the breakfast was ecxellent (not huge but had every we needed + we could order one included menu such as ham and eggs, pancakes etc.) ! The room was as shown on the pictures and clean. There‘s only one negative point: if you‘re highly sensitive concerning your sleep, you might book a room far from the street or elsewhere. There are many bars playing music till 3am. The lamai beach is only a couple minutes away too. We would come back again.
So good we stayed longer!”
This has been one of the best hotels on my stay. So close to everything if you want to nip put for food or drink yet tucked away so that it's quiet at night. All the staff have been freindly and helpful. I can't say enough good about this place. My only negative comment would be how uncomfortable the patio furniture is to sit on. But that's a pretty minor issue I would absolutely stay here again.
Better then 5 stars hotel ”
Great location and nice villa but music is too loud at evening next door
Nice resort in good location”
The resort is just in the center of Lamai Beach. About 200m away from the beach. I stayed at a Deluxe Room. Room is big and clean. The room atmosphere is very comfortable. Only disadvantage was some guests really noisy, smashed the doors, could hear very well. To put some sealing in the doors could help for noise reduction. Staff was very nice and always very helpful. The swimming pool is awesome, very big and great for swimming. The only thing bothers was some guests blocked the sun chairs with the towels early morning. A hotel rule would help! All in all I really can recommend this hotel. If you are noise sensitive it's better to book a villa instead of Deluxe room.
This was our first trip to Thailand, and the resort was very close to perfect. We traveled with our 2 teenage girls and the whole family loved this resort. The villas, that we stayed in, were very spacious and the pool was right outside our door, and the beach is only 5 minutes walk away. The resort is located right on the main road. Once on the road there's plenty of noise from the city. But like magic, once you're 10 metres inside the resort, all the noise is gone. This feels like a luxurious little oasis in the middle of Lamai. We loved the staff. All were very helpful. At one point, at the breakfast, one of our daughters needed urgent fixing of her braces, and, believe it or not, 35 minutes later we were at the dentist along with a very nice lady from the staff. I cannot remember her name, but she was the most hospitable woman I have ever encountered. We all loved her. But all the staff was great. The only negative is, that the gym is very small. But that is a very small negative
Simly perfect. Smack-bang in the middle of very busy town. But two feet on the resort and very quite, really easy to forget that you are in Thailand when on the resort. Beautiful Room. A bit noisy from the street but after 12 its silent and on the balcony too so who cares.
War Zone ”
The whole place is a disaster area due to flooding and it's a pity you and the Travel firm did not inform me it impossible and stupid to attempt a visit to the Resort .Quick to take my money knowing the high street airport roads bridges and railways were flooded impossible to access unless you had a boat !
We've met the massive flood in Samui during our visit recently, however this decent property had helped the situation a little. The property is tucked within the bustling Lamai Main Street, just across McDonald's. Despite it being in the centre it is still serene and cosy with its tropical resort layout. It would have been perfect if it offers spa within. Nevertheless the massage parlours are widely available just steps away from the resort entrance. The only two setbacks we had during our stay are 1) some of the rooms near the reception can be affected by the loud music played by the bars outside, we had to change our room after the first night and problem solved; 2) limited choice of food for breakfast but u don't stay there everyday so it's not a big deal. We will definitely go back to Pattra Vill again during our next visit to Samui.
Great location- small improvements required.”
Had a 10 night stay over Christmas and the New Year with my wife and 2 teenage children. The Royal Family Suite (2 bed villa) itself was very spacious, well equipped with WiFi (kids very happy with that) fridge/freezer/microwave, tea & coffee making equipment, Sat TV, Air Conditioning and fans in all rooms.Proximity right next to the huge swimming pool. The rooms were cleaned and serviced every day and new towels for indoor and outdoor use provided. One small critisism of the villa would be would be that the bathroom looks very "tired" - the silicone around the bath/shower was very old/yellow and needs urgent attention. I`m sure it`s an easy job to fix. We weren`t told about facilities when we arrived, so after a few days we asked, and were shown the gym with various exercise machines. I did want to use the small sauna however was told that it`s "not working yet"- very surprised as it looked brand new! We also noticed the resort name on site was called Pattra Vill Resort & Spa- when we asked where the Spa part was,(just in case we missed something) we were told that it`s coming soon! We were very comfortable at Pattra Vill, with a fantastic location- (you literally walk out straight into the heart of Lamai walking street),where all the restaurants, bars, massage & shops. We did need to use some earplugs at night due to various bars competing for sound dominance nearby. The resort is listed as 5 star so I do think that breakfast could be a bit more interesting with choice, and they should have these additional Spa facilities installed to give it a 5 star feel. Staff were very helpful- nothing was too much trouble and a *special thanks to Piyathida on evening reception duty- who was always so receptive and gave us a crash course in how to speak Thai :-) If you`re looking for a very peaceful, comfortable stay, in a great location close to the main street, this would be ideal.
Lovely staff and immaculate rooms”
The rooms here are great - very spacious and clean. TV with western movies. Good breakfast where they seemed happy to let me order two dishes. Such helpful and friendly staff. So quiet by the pool, not a party place but more a nice grown up chill out hotel.
Pattra Ville have been excellent ”
My story is a little different. I tore some ligaments which led me to be in a moonboot and crutches. This hotel have been great! They helped me get my bags from my other terrible hotel when I had no way to carry them here. They have been helping me by ordering food in the evenings and bringing to my room and at breakfast making sure I'm well looked after. The rooms are massive. Big high ceilings. Large patio doors. Your own outdoor area. Nice quality shower. Sofa and table area. Make up desk and chair. Western movie channels. Comfortable bed and pillows. Pool is great- saltwater which for me has been great for healing. Mini bar could have a little more variety but you are within 2-3 mins of shops. Try to get a room further from reception as it has less noise from street bars. Guests are respectful, it's not a party resort. It's chilled and tranquil. Overall a wonderful stay with staff who bend over backwards to help you.
stayed here for a night and was sorry I didn't stay longer, it really is a lovely resort in a perfect location, staff very nice and the facilities here are great, has a great pool and only a few minutes from the beech, will definitely stay here again when I'm in samui
Lovely Gem! Highly recommended!”
This lovely resort is no issue for drivers to locate. 20min from airport. Receptionist was very welcoming and very helpful with providing information. Most of them are English speaking. Pleasantly surprised by the room. Very modern n clean. Balcony is a +. Decent breakfast with a buffet of bread, cereals, salad and fruits. They will also take your breakfast main course order. Pool is very clean and only 1-2 couple at any one time. McDonald's, 7-11, shops, restaurants, money changer, laundry and massage is right at the door step. Must try: Tandoori night Indian restaurant just about 100m on the left of hotel entrance. Lamai night market (only Sunday) is by far one of the better night market I visited. Nice resort with great location at an affordable price!
Gorgeous in its own way!”
Friendly staff, lovely pool....small yet nice and clean. Since occupancy was low, we had the pool to ourselves. Perfect location.....away from the crowd, but with good restaurants just outside. Only issue was the drainage in the bathroom and placement of mirror. Overall a wonderful stay.
Great Hotel in the middle of Town”
This hotel is very new, very clean and very central. The staff are quite helpful and pleasant. I would recommend this hotel if wanting to have a nice hotel that's central. It isn't on the beach but a short 300metre walk
Really friendly staff, went to the pharmacy for me after hearing that I had a stomach bug without even asking them too. Very new place, rooms are modern and bright. Saltwater pool is a very nice feature. Location is a 5 min walk to the beach and 1 min to the night market. Highly recommend the place. I definitely would stay again.
Great resort, will stay again!”
Lovely resort. Very clean, modern and a great location right on the main street and only 300m from the beach. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. All in all we had a wonderful time there and I would definitely stay there again! :)
