"A real Oasis well placed in the centre of Phnom Penh."

Pavilion is located in the heart of the historical center of Phnom Penh, just a few steps from the Royal Palace and facing Wat Botum, the Royal Pagoda. It boasts unique heritage villas, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and four private plunge pools, all setup in a lush compound protected by high walls, preserving its intimacy.
Pavilion has two poolside bar-restaurants, spa, gym, souvenir shop, free unique bamboo bicycles, 24-hour reception and free Wi-Fi. All rooms feature air conditioning, cable TV, safety box, telephone, hair dryer, sound system, and mini bar. All 36 rooms are unique and different, one room vary from the other rooms. The Double Rooms are on the ground floor and have a limited view.
The Reception Villa was built by Queen Kossamak, King Sihanouk's mother, in the mid-20s. Living here brought her closer to the Royal Pagoda, where she often liked to pray. The architecture is an original combination of Khmer and French colonial styles. With an ideal location and facilities to match, Pavilion hits the spot in many ways.
"I have stayed at the Pavilion a few times, and I love it."

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at”
An atmospheric elegant hotel consisting of a cluster of old former private residences near the palace. The hotel is very well managed and stands out for the cozy architecture and landscaping which gives it a very refreshing and peaceful "oasis in the city" kind of vibe. It even has not one but two pools which somehow works very well despite the relatively small footprint of the property. Pavilion served us particularly well as we decided to spend most of the time in the hotel relaxing since Phnom Penh itself does not really have a lot to offer. I usually find something to complain about but everything here lived up to my expectations, and with that considered it's a very reasonable price. I would love to try some more of Maads' properties across Cambodia. Okay fine - one complaint: the spa is almost always fully booked well in advance. Would love if they could hire additional staff to accommodate appointments on less than 24 hours notice.
Dear Benjamin, Now this is a very very kind review! Thank you especially for the kind words about our hotel! Sorry about the SPA. Indeed, one of our team member got an accident and we were shot of staff, before we find a replacement, sorry. We hope you still find your stay with us relaxing. We look forward to welcome you again, Cheers, Nassiba
An oasis in the hustle and bustle of Phnom Penh”
The Pavilion is a hotel in the center of Phnom Penh in walking distance to the Royal Palace and the National Museum. There are 4 colonial style buildings that formarly have been private homes - one of them to the Queen of Cambodia. There are 2 swimming pools in two courtyards: one in the sunshine and one in the shadow of palm trees. They can be used 24 hours a day and I just loved to swim at midnight when it feels like swimming in your private pool in your private gardens. The staff at The Pavilion is very friendly and professional. The food at the restaurant is tasty and the breakfast is awesome. You can order what ever is on the menue as often as you like. I stayed in room 21 - a small house in its own garden. This was a very special experience because this bungalow has almost no walls but big windows from the ceiling to the floor, which gives you the impression of living outside - with the advantage of a well functioning AC of course. I loved it and I can highly recommend it.
Dear Stephan, Thank you for taking the time to review us so kindly! A nice reward for all our team! Cheers, Nassiba
This is a really special hotel . A true oasis in the heart of town All the sightseeing attractions are but a short Tuk Tuk journey away. The hotel was built in the 1920s and still has that old world vibe. The wonderful young staff are so friendly and cheerful from the management to the cleaning staff could not fault it at all. We ate in the hotel nearly the whole time as the food was delicious and good value., and frankly the beautiful setting of the restraunt in a pavilion by the pool was hard to leave, especially after a cocktail hour of four to six! Two cocktails for the price of one! Mature exotic gardens surrounding the hotel . Large stone buddha, koi carp and terrapins in the pond . There's even a tiny hedgehog house with white hedgehogs that come out in the evening! All make for a magical and memorablel stay in Phnom Penh.
Dear Helen, Many thanks! This is very kind. The team and myself were very happy to have you here with us. We look forward to welcome you again! Cheers. Nassiba
Our stay at the pavilion hotel was lovely, the place was beautiful, in the middle of the city within walking distance to most of the sights! It was like stepping into an oasis, away from the hustle and bustle that Phnom Penh had to offer. The staff were amazing, helpful and they always wore a smile when you saw them. Breakfast was good too, with a wide array of choices to pick from. Perhaps the only problem I have was that the doors weren't very well oiled, or maintained. We had problems opening the door to the bathroom and closing it as it was pretty rusty. Other than that, I fully enjoyed my stay and I'd recommend my friends and family to book the pavilion whenever they're in Phnom Penh.
Dear Samuel, thank you for your review. Sorry about the door noise. Now, we regularly fix them for noise by putting felt and lubrication. Cheers, Nassiba
We had previously stayed at Pavilion around seven years ago and it had evoked the most wonderful of memories. Often revisiting a location can be disappointing- this could not be any further from the truth. Their accomodation options have expanded since then but the boutique character & feel, quality of accom, impeccable service, food and location cannot be beaten. This time we stayed in a garden Jacuzzi room which was an oasis in an oasis. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. An absolute must if you find yourself in Phnom Penh. Thank you!
Dear Cameron, This is very kind of you, many thanks for your support! Looking forward to seeing you again soon with us. Cheers, Nassiba
Charm and privacy”
The Pavilion, while centrally located next to the Royal Palace, offers a unique experience combining charming historical buildings, which are tastefully decorated, a magical pool "covered" by mature trees, a friendly and committed service team, and overall a very intimate and ultimately relaxing ambiance, which is most welcome after spending the day in Phnom Penh... I cannot think of any Southeast Asian cities offering a comparable experience. Kudos to the Pavilion Team.
Dear Stephane, many thanks for this kind review! I am glad you liked our ultimately relaxing ambiance! Hoping this is not you last trip to our beloved city. Cheers, Nassiba
Oasis in a busy city”
This was our first stop on our 3 week Cambodian honeymoon. After a very long travel day and arriving just in time for Independence Day and the Water Festival it was such a wonderful oasis away from the very busy city. The staff was so helpful and friendly, the morning breakfast was delicious and the rooms were so gorgeous. We have to travel back through Phnom Penh on our way home and have already booked again at the Pavilion.
Dear Crystal, thank you so much for your kind review. We are happy you liked your stay with us. We look forward to welcome you again. Nassiba
Love to stay there again”
The hotel was great... it was an oasis in Phnom Penh. Walk distance from Royal Palace and National Museum. My plan included breakfast and a massage. The room was roomy with a shower booth and cute amenities.... also welcome fruits was included... in the classy European style atmosphere. Also the staff was so nice especially the staff at the entrance. They helped me a lot to get a ride (tuktuk or taxi). I would definitely come back to the hotel at my next visit to Phnom Penh... as long as they keep their facilities and service at this cost.
Dear Tetsuko, thank you very much for your comprehensive review. We look forward to welcome you again! Nassiba
We had a wonderful stay at Pavilion Hotel in Phnom Penh in a spacious room. Everything was very well presented and clean, the staff were super friendly and helpful, particularly the gorgeous Dey and Veronica who both went out of their way to help plan our stay. . The location is good and quiet. We would definitely stay here again.
Dear Robert,Thank you so much for your nice words about our team! The most precious element of the Pavilion. Come again. Nassiba
Joie de vivre: Pavilion Hotel”
How much did I like The Pavilion? Sitting in the garden outside my room, in the gentle sunlight, listening to the exotic bird sounds was just one of the great pleasures. Not to mention exhilarating swims in the lovely pools, and sumptuous breakfast on the shaded patio. I felt utter delight. Just a short walk from the hotel are the Royal Palace, National Museum of Cambodia, and across the street is Wat Botum, an awe-inspiring temple. The kind and helpful hotel staff arranged adventures for me – such as hiking to the summit of Phnom Chisor to discover stunning views of the countryside, and then back to the hotel for dinner under palm trees. My stay at the Pavilion was unforgettable - surely one of the most enchanting hotels in the world.
Dear Steven, I am so delighted to read your review and to know that you had unforgettable stay with us. Thank you so much!!! Hope you come again to stay with us! Nassiba
Lovely hotel ... Perfect for our trip to Cambodia”
My husband and I stayed in the Pavilion Hotel for 6 wonderful days. The bedroom was large and clean. The breakfasts were great. The time spent around the pool was extremely relaxing and the staff were always very friendly. The free massage was a lovely thought too! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Phnom Penh.
Dear Linda, this is a really kind review!! Thank you so much for taking time for us! Cheers, Nassiba
I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. On the outside it looks almost invisible but want to get in it’s beautiful old French colonial approach to swimming pools the rooms are fantastic the massages are the best I’ve ever had in over 30 years the food is good the drinks are good. But what makes it most of all are the people who are unbelievably friendly helpful and professional I especially like to single out and thank Ing Sira (Guest relations officer) who, after I had some problems, exhibited initiative and inventiveness in solving all of them quickly professionally to make my stay memorable. He went truly out of his way. A fantastic example of what it means to have excellent customer service. I’m even thinking about making a trip back to Phnom Penh especially just for this hotel and this service
Dear Hnry, this is really kind of you! Very much appreciated. I will share your review with Sira. Hoping to seeing you soon! Cheers, Nassiba
The best hotel in Phnom Penh”
I have been to Phnom Penh three times now and this is by far the best hotel I have stayed in. They offer you a free 25 minute massage on arrival, as well as a free river cruise running twice every evening. They also have a great breakfast menu. You can order as many dishes as you like, all included in the room price. They have two pools, beautiful communal areas and a great location in the centre of the city. The staff have all been friendly and extremely helpful. This hotel is a 10/10 in every aspect, I couldn't recommend it more highly!
Dear Alex, this is really kind! We'll read your review at our next team meeting.Cheers, Nassiba
The Pavilion Hotel”
This was our second stay at The Pavilion Hotel and 3rd trip to Phnom Penh. The location is great ad close to all major sight seeing attraction and easy access to shopping. The hotel restaurant is really good, so much so that we ate by the pool 3 times during our stay, which is very unusual for us.
Dear John, thanks a lot for keeping returning with us! We are really thankful for your loyalty for our little place :). Cheers, Nassiba
Resort like retreat in Phnom Penh”
The hotel has two pools and lovely grounds. My room was huge, with a private garden in back, and my son's room had a small private pool. Both rooms and the hotel were decorated with many Khmer or colonial artifacts. WiFi is free and fast. There were adequate choices for breakfast and the restaurant by the pool offered some well prepared choices. Overall the vibe was staying in a late 19th century hotel with modern conveniences. Staff was helpful and understood English adequately. Sometimes they seemed overwhelmed by the number of people checking in and out. Location was a bit out of center, but tuk tuks were readily available and cheap. The hotel could use a bit of refurbishing, as evident by the signs indicating repairs were in progress. Overall, a relaxing and aesthetically satisfying place to stay in sometimes chaotic Phnom Penh.
Dear Jane , many thanks indeed for your great feedback. We very much look forward to welcoming you back to Pavilion in the future. Nassiba
Brilliant service, boutique hospitality”
Beautiful colonial rooms, fabulous breakfast, wonderful pools and a good location close to many Phnom Penh sites, attractions and eateries. A special thanks to Sira for sorting us out when I mucked up our travel plans and our group arrived a day early!! :) *sheepish grin* It's the warm hospitality and staff that make this a special place to stay. Thanks too to Dee for the lovely conversations and trip / tour suggestions. On our next time through Phnom Penh, we'll definitely be back.
Dear Malindi, Thank you so much for your kind words for Dy and Sira! Hope you will be back with us soon. Cheers, Nassiba
Hidden Gem in Phnom Penh”
Living in Phnom Penh, means that you want a relaxing, quiet place to hide away at. The Pavilion was a refreshing getaway hidden in Phnom Penh. Beautiful facilities, friendly staff, and reasonable price. I'll be coming back here again in the future.
Dear Bridget, thank you very much for your support! We look forward to welcome you again. Nassiba
Majestic surprise in Phonm Penh!”
I was completely surprised to see what a beauty this boutique hotel really was! The pictures in the webpage do not show the magnificence. The staff was super friendly, the hotel was beautiful in its common areas, although our room was not that spectacular, and the location could not be better! I could feel myself falling into a relaxing state just by walking through the halls and in front of both of its gorgeous and calm pools! If I ever visit Phnom Penh again, without a doubt I will stay again in this gem of a hotel!
Dear Alvaro, Thank you so much for this very comprehensive review and kind support! Very appreciated. Cheers, Nassiba
Very charming, tasteful, elegant and with highly personalised service in beautiful old villa”
In a quiet neighbourhood of low rise houses, set in a tropical lush garden, four old villas have been linked together, creating a unique, charming and elegant place where the guests feel at home immediately . 2 beautiful pools with small bars, an outdoor restaurant, spa. It's a perfect place to have as a base when exploring the city. Good location. easy to move around by tuk-tuk. Very helpful staff to help you arrange your program. Thank you Veronica for all your good advice and hidden gems! Gratzie!! We will return next time in Phnom Penh!!
Dear Michael, Many thanks for this very kind review! I am so glad you liked our two main pools. Please note that we have four other ones that are private to some of our rooms. Indeed, Veronica's advises are the best to explore Phnom Penh! We look forward to welcome you again! Cheers, Nassiba
I have found a heaven in PhnomPenh”
I stayed at the Pavilion for 3 nights and did not go out for a second as everything was beyond perfect here (according to my standards). My trip was a retreat for myself after a long tiring project so I wanted to just stay in and enjoy. The Pavilion did give me that. The hotel room was soooo beautiful and clean and lovely. I was offered a room by the back pool (I will need to mention this later as they have 2 swimming pools!!!) for the first night and another beauuuutiful isolated room for the second and third night which was a delight for the whole trip. Staffs were extremely helpful and always smile and made me feel like home. The foods at the restaurant were perfect for my taste and you know what, I did not eat anything out!!! My three meals a day were totally served at this place and I was so happy for what I was served. Talking about the pools. They were very clean, nice and cool and beautiful. I had great time swimming and relaxing by the pools as there were some nice beds by the pools too. Everything was perfect for my holiday and thank you so much The Pavilion for making my first trip to Cambodia so special.
Dear Nguyen, thank you so much for your great review. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us! All of us look forward to welcome you again at the Pavilion. Nassiba
