Budget 3-star hotel with nice receptionists”
From "Vilier" metro station, few steps could led me to Rue de Levis. And then just 1 right turn from rue de levis, hotel is easily recognised in quiet street of Rue Le Bouteux. All is about 200 metres from Vilier metro station. Above all, Rue de Levis is beautiful street. Lots of shops, markets, patisseries and monoprix (very friendly supermarket and accept credit card). Receptionists are helpful, polite. When I said "quiet", I meant it. Hotel is located at one of the heart site of paris but incredibly quiet and private. Room is acceptable. Let me say I've got a bit more than I'd paid. Pauline Frommer's guidebook had warned me to prepare my mind about size of room in paris. So its size is appreciately acceptable. Beds are clean, well-made. Furnitures are (too) simple and few. Power inputs are adequate. Bathroom is simple but comfortable. Shower head and controller is easily manipulte. Hair dryer is included. The only thing that I dislike is the floor of bathroom and bedroom is continuosly connected. No step or bar to block water on bathroom floor from carpet invasion and hard to prevent wet carpet after showering, there is no plastic curtain at the bathtub for sealing all splash from shower head. Bottom line : This hotel is nice place and recommended for budget travellers who aim to discover paris and need a bit of luxurious place for relaxation after tired day.

Nice receptionist and very helpful.”
Checked in to this hotel with my wife and it seems to be a normal procedure for all hotels in Paris to have the room available at 1pm. Anyway, it doesn't matter much as you can leave your luggage at the reception area and go out to enjoy Paris rite away. It's close to the Metro and you can have a nice easy walk towards Moulin Rouge if you feels like ~ Room was ok, gave us the ground floor so we don't have to drag our luggage that far up to the room. Decent hotel for the price overall... Enjoy Paris rather staying in the hotel room too much, that's all i have to say.

Relatively low cost, location convenient”
My stay at Pavillon Villier Etoile is generally satisfactory. However, the room is quite small and shower cubicle is fairly old with the sliding door detached when sliding. When I booked from Agoda, the website indicates that it has free WiFi in rooms but when I arrived, the hotel told me that there is no free WiFi in the room. Also the airport shuttle bus which the hotel help organised has overcharged me for 3 Euro, not in line with what the hotel promised me for 26 Euro as stated in their receipt.

Comfortable stay with convenient location”
I stayed at different hotels in Paris but this hotel meets all of my criterias; quiet, clean and economical. I am not a tourist so I needed quiet time to rest in my room over weekend, which came to real very much. I always like more space but again, based on how much you pay in Paris, this is definitely worth it. I will stay here again whenever I get a chance.

A small and nice hotel”
I Travelled to Paris with 2 friends and stayed at this hotel. Location is very good. It is about 50m to street market and about 150m to subway. It is vety convinience. Foods in the market street is diversified and reasonable price. However, the room is rather small and no air-con. At the day time, we can not stay in the room as it is very hot. We need a fan, but there is not any fan... Anyway, thanks for good assistances from the friendly hotel staff.

Comfortable nights and easy access to sights.”
The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We spent our days sight seeing, and this was easy as the metro station was a 5 minute walk away. The area, as all of central Paris is that we saw, is well kept and pretty. The only caution I would give is that eating in Paris is more expensive than London, with a cup of coffee averaging 4 Euros. Be careful if on a budget!

Lovely hotel”
the hotel locates at a pretty good location, just 10-min walk from the villier station. the rooms are nice and clean. the staff are polite and helpful. i thought there is a pianist living around, and i can hear beautiful music every morning, which is a bonus to me. and there is a pretty nice restaurant called "village" around, which i think is worth to try.

Good location, comfortable, small room”
the hotel is in a quiet residential area. a few blocks walk gets you to the main roads and metro stations. there is a large market area within a block of the hotel with fresh produce, breads, pastries, and mini supermarket and clothing store with all the necessities of daily life. also has several good cafés in the same area. my room was comfortable, but very small. it was next to the elevator, so there was some noise, but not too obtrusive. the room was a bit worn from the peak season, but everything worked. i was fortunate to be on the top floor so i had a panoramic view of the area, sort of like the opening scene from la boheme. the staff was great, the people in the area friendly and helpful. i was very satisfied with my stay.

Perfect apartment in Paris outskirt”
The apartment is very nice, with good quality amenities. The location is good, just outside Paris with easy access to Métro station. The neighbourhood is surrounded by many convenience stores and restaurants. I would mind at all to come back!

Had a lovely stay!”
My boyfriend and I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. It's very affordable, yet the location is amazing. You can walk almost everywhere or just take the underground situated only 2 minutes walk. The room was very cozy, clean and very warm. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We highly recomend this hotel!

Great location but small rooms”
this hotel is for the budget conscious traveler. upon arrival at 7.30 am the room was of course not ready. i was invited to use their facilities and store my luggage until it was ready. the staff were extremely courteous and friendly and went "the extra mile" to ensure i was comfortable. the room, although small, was clean and everything in it worked well. i was on the fifth floor but the elevator worked well so it did not worry me.

Great Location. Comfortable But no WiFi in Room”
Comfortable room considering this is Paris (don't expect too much). Location was good and reasonable close walk to Metro with markets and only amenities in close proximity. Decor a bit old and was very disappointed that our room had no wi fi access. Only main lobby and rooms close to lobby had Internet access. Staff were overall very pleasant to deal with and spoke numerous languages.

Great location but small rooms”
It is nice hotel in Paris and near to the glocery shop. However, the breakfast is too simple and dont have much of choices. For the room facilities, the hotel do not provide the drinking waters and hot waters. Even the internet access, it is chargeable.

Good value for money”
The hotel was ok overall, as it was good value for money. Room was small, as is typical for Paris, but weather was very warm at the time, so room was hot. It was also noisy as unfortunately there were local road repairs at the time. Good buffet breakfast, friendly helpful staff. The room was also a bit rundown, in need of some refurbishment.

Low quality hotel with some very rude staff”
i was travelling with friends and on check-in we were not told that the elevator was broken, we found it out when we went to use it to get to our rooms. my friends had to carry their luggage 3 floors, and i had one floor. no offer of assistance was forthcoming from the staff. the rooms are small, and only just clean. you have to sit sideways on the toilet, or burn your leg on the heater that is at most, 3 inches away from the side of the toilet. the free internet was intermittent. the night staff said they would fix it, but the next morning it was still not working. when i asked the reception staff about it, she was incredibly rude. i would never recommend villiers etoile to anyone.
