Private villa with own pool”
Our first stay at Samui was at pawanthorn resort. The room was spacious but our air conditioner leaked quite a bit. No maintenance staff were available to fix it during our stay. Great if you want some privacy but not near a beach you can swim at. A short drive to Chewang beach and there is plenty of food and a long stretch of beach to swim at.

Little slice of paradise”
I had an excellent time here. To the staff, sorry for leaving my helmet behind. I hope you can get it back to Lek for me one day. I had a drama returning my bike to the previous hotel I'd stayed at on Koh Samui (I moved to Pawanthorn for something more comfortable). I had to return the bike to the original hotel. I was following the taxi that had my luggage and was going to take me onwards to the airport. With about 55mins to spare I got pulled over by a police helmet blitz. I had to line up to get a ticket and again to pay my fine. Suffice to say I had visions of my luggage disappearing and missing my flight. A panicked phone call to the Pawanthorn staff helped resolve these issues even though I was quite stressed and speaking too quickly. All the staff appear to have good command of English, so long as you speak slowly enough. Thanks

Amazing Pool villa in quiet area! Undiscovered GEM”
Loved my stay at the Pawanthorn in January 2013 and we didn't want to leave. Complimentary shuttle to and from the airport and Chaweng Beach. The hotel was so quiet and we hardly saw any other guests while we were there. The staff were really friendly including Pokkie the Villa’s manager. The rooms were very spacious and modern. You can’t swim at the beach at the hotel as it is very rocky but you can get the free shuttle into Chaweng and you get to use Montein’s House sunbeds and facilities. When we were there all of the sunbeds and umbrellas were taken but the pool staff were happy to go and collect more for us. We also liked catching a taxi to Kandaburi – few minute drive and 100 baht ride. I have stayed there before and it is nice to walk through to the beach and walk into Chaweng on the sand. Go to your place restaurant on the beach near Kandaburi as it is a beautiful, cheap and friendly restaurant. Would I stay at the Pawanthorn again? YES! Would I recommend it to anyone? YES!

Peaceful, private and perfect getaway in Samui ”
Our stay at Pawanthorn was amazing. Greeted by smiles and the knowledge that anything we needed was never too much for them. Waking up to cooked breakfast and laying by our private pool was the best start to our days. We were very impressed at the service, clean rooms and the location. Thankyou so much Pawanthorn for making a great holiday even better... We are definitely coming back..

A Romantic Getaway”
The hotel is close to the airport and does provide shuttle service. The room was very comfortable and clean. We liked the room so much we spent most of our time there and did not see a lot of Samui. I have never stayed in a room that had a private pool before. I would highly recommended it as a perfect getaway to relax and spend time together. The only possible drawback is that it is kind of far from the shopping, bars, and restaurants but that could also be viewed as good because of the quiet and relaxing nature of the hotel.

Nice location”
We spent three days in the Pool Villa. It was what we were looking for, to be able to kick back and relax. The staff are attentive and a credit to the premises. The pool villa was good, nice pool and quiet, which is what we were after. The villa was well appointed with everything you would need. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was huge. There is no restaurant attached, so you have to leave each night to eat. Swimming at the beach is a no no, as it is private. You can walk on it and walk to a swimming beach. The complimentry transfer down to Chewang didn't work out - only once, in the three days. This was definately not the fault of the staff at Pawanthorn, but rather the driver who seemed to have his own agender and who was ignorant and rude. Maybe they should consider giving someone else the job. We paid for taxis rather than persisting with him.

Stayed last night before flying home.”
This was perfect place to stay before heading home for that last little bit of relaxation in a private pool villa. We got a tuk tuk into Chewang and went to the Spirit House for dinner which was amazing and then had a bit of a shop in around before heading back to our room for a swim and a good sleep before heading home the next day. Pawanthorn provided us with a good breakfast, late check out and airport transfers so could not have been better.

An Idyllic Haven”
Along a quiet stretch of seaside, the well-designed one-bedroom villa is comfortable and spacious with a large pool and very private. The adjacent beach is rocky but picturesque and serene. There's no restaurant on-site but Chaweng Beach is just a few minutes ride away. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. We had a romantic and refreshing stay.

Surprised of being upgrade to 4 rooms villa ”
We had a very happy journey during staying in Pawanthirn Samui. But I suggest they need to keep visitor's ID or Passport when enter into the property for safety and security reasons. Besides that, there is nothing to improve. Everything is perfect!

The house is very big and fantastic. Swimming pool is large. all staff are very friendly. Cleaners supplement drinking and snack every day. One night we came back to villa by tuktuk and didn't have enough small cash to pay to driver. Security uncle drove the moto out and changed some small cash for us. It is very dark, we worried about his safety. We stayed here four night. It is very good memory.

A beautiful Fawlty Towers”
This hotel was absolutely beautiful and the pool villas were amazing with your very own private pool. However, the services were non-existent. They seemed to have no idea how to run a hotel. We were woken up by a phonecall in the morning (9am) to ask us if we wanted breakfast. I have never experienced such a thing. They then came and knocked on our door to ask us the same thing. This was repeated the next day despite us telling them very firmly that if we wanted breakfast, we would come to the dining room. Transportation was difficult as it was a little too far to walk to Chaweng and we had to hail taxis, often waiting awhile. Once this hotel sorts itself out, it will hopefully be a hidden gem.

Lovely atay”
Initially I had booked the pool villa for 2 nights..had booked for my fiancée birthday as I wanted to surprise her...the pool villa was a decently sized.it had all the modern amenities with a dip pool just in front of it..the beach around that area is Rocky so can't do much as far as it is concerned..one can get to Chewang on tuk tuk from the main road or rent moped which the hotel can help with..landed up staying the 3 rd night as well..

excellent comfort ”
Everything seem to be perfect; the room was nice, chef and staff were so friendly. Hotel is next to the beach and just 10 mins drive to central festival or the pub street, unless at the first day of our staying, the staff said that everything in the fridge are free of charge but one of the ice pack were already opened and they refuse to change it for us which is unreasonable that we gonna use it. The private pool was so cool but the water is quite dirty. However, overall my friends and I was very happy staying in the hotel. Thanks all the staff to make this happened to us.

Nice place for honeymoon”
It is a nice & quiet place for honeymoon. A bit far from chaweng town,need to rent a motorcycle because public transportation quite limited at the hotel area..beach is rocky,not suitable for swimming..private swimming pool is nice but a bit dirty because it is not clean everyday,maybe after customer check out only they clean the pool..room is nice & clean everyday, two thumbs up 👍🏼👍🏼 however a bit dissapointed on our first day at the hotel,our room is left unlocked after cleaning by the staff until we get back to the room,luckily our things is not missing..

Relaxing location & Lovely staff.”
The stay was very lovely and relaxed. It's a very private resort with only a few rooms, so you won't be disturbed often with other guests. You can't really swim at the beach as it is very rocky. Also breakfast is served in a very tiny room and isn't that comfortable or pleasant, breakfast in general was good, but seating made you felt like you are in a dorm or something. Also, perhaps it is important for you to know that despite having confirmation for a booking (we were several friends who made group bookings). The hotel eventually messed up our booking (overbooked basically) and some of our friends had to cancel their stay and move to another hotel, so the booking system seems to be chaotic and unorganized, so I suggest you please double check with the hotel for your booking EVEN AFTER receiving a confirmation. Other than that it was really nice and the staff are really friendly and lovely.

Worth to Stay and Near airport”
The staying is good and quiet with feel close to the natural environment. The room is big with a private swimming pool. It worth for staying and worth for money. The staff a friendly and fulfill our requirement although not well speak in English. However, the housekeeping for the hotel is under my expectation which there are no refill coffee and tea, also, the cleanliness are still need to improve which the floor is dusty and found some long hair since both of us are short hair. Also, the swimming pool need to improve with to repair the not function lighting. In the conclusion, i still consider to stay again the hotel due to the good environment.
