Located in the northeastern region of Palawan Island, Peace and Love Resort offers guest an unspoiled location that shows the wealth of wildlife and colorful tropical fishes and scenic landscape. The resort is beautifully situated in San Vicente town proper, the Philippine’s last frontier. It is surrounded by fauna and palm heights, away from the hassle of the city, where guests experience paradise between heaven and earth. Rooms have a stunning view of San Vicente Bay with its different shades of turquoise water and romantic sunset. Guests can refresh themselves in the resort’s swimming pool or visit the famous long beach in the area. Romantic candle-lit dinners can be arranged for guests at the restaurant’s terrace or at any of the many beaches on the nearby islands. All rooms have 24-hour power, air conditioning and fan, a mini bar, LED TV, free Wi-Fi, a water heater, a hair dryer, hot and cold water shower by solar power, a terrace or balcony, and very nice Asian-inspired furniture.
"Drink selection was also good."

Highly recommend this”
Staff were very helpful, the owner Steve couldn't have done more to help. Food was excellent. Bed was massive. Really good value stay, cocktails were great too Only negative was air con was very noisy and filthy and the wifi doesn't work
Interesting hotel in well located view area”
After registering our complaint about a non-functional in-room safe, we were transferred the next day to a similar room (with working safe) but with an excellent harbour view -kudos to staff/management for this. View from hotel lobby, restaurant and pool are awesome. Staff are very friendly and responsive. Daily housekeeping was provided but regrettably, hotel rooms and bathrooms need significant update and maintenance. Not the hotel is located on town site Which is on opposite shore from 14 km white sand beach at San Vicente; island tours and motorbikes can be arranged/rented at bottom of hill from hotel in town restaurant area.
A place to have been ;-)”
I am living in Palawan and everytime I get some visit here, it's one of my favorite place on the island. Not only for the splendid view from the Peace and Love to the bay but also for the very friendly staff and the excellent and various food you can eat there... The german owner is also a very nice and communicative person. I strongly recommand Peace and Love and for sur I will visit there again.
Our stay at Peace and Love was good. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Perhaps the place should be called "Steve's Place". Steve, from Germany, is the owner. He seems to live at Peace and Love, and has set everything up to his own specifications. He is a friendly guy who likes to talk and will sit himself down beside you during your meals. Our room was large with a spectacular view over the water. The A/C was a small, noisy unit that we did not use after the first night as it was too loud and not very effective. The open window and a fan worked to keep us cool enough to eventually fall asleep. The bed was very hard. I suspect this may be for Chinese visitors. Food: the food is pretty good. Some of the menu items are a bit of a mystery. One morning I ordered the beans, toast and egg (full order). As the food arrived Steve showed up as usual. He told me I had ordered too much. The full serving was more than anyone could eat. What was I thinking? How was I to know that, but I guess the more important question is why is this on the menu if it is too much to eat? The long beach, about a 15 minute walk away is amazing. It is a great place to walk and swim. It is generally deserted. One does, however, have to be very careful about getting sand fly bites. They are very itchy, prone to infection, and can last for weeks. Use insect repellent generously.
The best hotel experience in Palawan”
After a disastrous experience at El Nido with an overpriced hotel (Dolarog resort), we enjoyed this very nice, boutique-type, friendly hotel with tastefully furnished and equipped rooms and an amazing view over one of the most beautiful location in Palawan. One of the greatest place to stay in Palawan!! One point only should be improved: food is below the high standard of the overall service and delivery.
Amazing Hotel for the Money”
This hotel has one of the most stunning views of the ocean. The rooms are large and nicely appointed. While just about every other hotel in northern Palawan only has electricity ~12 hours a day, Peace and Love Resort has 24 hour electricity, thanks to their generators. Each room has access to a pretty dependable WiFi signal. So you have access to the internet, if needed. The pool is nice, but the surface of the pool is rough on your feet. I would say the only down falls for this hotel are horrible food and this is a big one, because there are very few places to eat in San Vicente, and the poor house keeping. The only good dish we had there (and we tried them all) was breakfast. We ended up walking into town every day to eat at a locals restaurant. Our rooms weren't cleaned every day. So, that meant dealing with sand all over the floor and small insects that invaded the room one evening. Despite the short comings mentioned above, I strongly recommend staying at Peace and Love. The hotel is beautiful. The staff are extremely helpful and go out of their way to ensure guests have a pleasurable stay. And the owner is very friendly and extremely helpful.
Lovely hotel good service , good rooms and foods ”
I shocked when we arrived to the place because its under construction. But the owner Steve made us forget the shocked bec He transfer us to very nice room, and we saw many nice place around San Vicente. We rent motorbike at very low price,to went around the place and we found nice beaches.Steve the owner cooked personally for our food and it was fantantic and low price. And we think we will be back to see new rooms and pool and for sure it will be fantastic hotel in San Vicente.
Very nice and spacious room and bath/shower”
For our time the resort was still not completely finished but we knew this when we booked. The rooms are very large and beautiful with a large bed. Also the bathroom was comfortable. The room also has a balcony with a beautiful view over the beach of San Vicente. The owner was very helpful and gave us some tips on what we could do. The generator, which is guaranteed for 24-hours of electricity, was also very pleasant, because then the AC as well as television became available. For us, the price - performance ratio fit. For this reason, we have extended our stay from 2 to 4 nights. If we are once again in Palawan, we will certainly stay here again, also to see how the rest is developed. This also therefore, since what was completed is very nice.
my stay was good! ”
room was great , it is big. The only thing is that when we rented a bike, it was not in good condition. no headlight, so the travel was limited in time because we should not be out in the road late
A very nice place. Rooms are great, service is good, food is lovely. Only, DONT BOOK YOUR TOURS IN THE RESORT because the wife takes huge commisions for herself. Just book your tours and transport in the harbour. This is bad service.
Nice resort with a great team, but a bit pricey”
We spent there three nights, after a mistake, because we wanted to go to Port Barton. Still, we had great time here, we enjoyed two days of relaxation at the pool in the resort, also because there is not a lot to do in St Vincente. Staff at the resort made our stay much better, we enjoyed the food and drinks at the restaurant. The rooms and other facilities need a coat of new paint and other smaller fixes. Always hot water and electricity, internet was available on and off.
Nice calm romantic place”
We were group of 4 girls and we enjoyed staying there a lot. Long Beach is 10 mins walk, food in hotel was better compared to other hotels. Wifi was working terribly (max. 1 hour together per day). Staff was really nice and willing to help. Mr. owner Steve was so kind and talkative. I would recommend this hotel to couples in love because it's made to make love, catch suntan, relax and eat ;)
Extortionately priced for standard of rooms and facilities.”
-WiFi doesn’t work. Is also not in the rooms. -Power is not 24hr, expect brownouts despite generator. -Food and drink very expensive. -Sign outside says hotel is closed for renovations. This makes it hard for taxis to locate. - Rooms and fitting incredibly tired. In serious need of maintenance. -Daytime staff incredibly rude. After telling us that breakfast ended at 9 she told us at 12 that we could only order breakfast food. When we pointed out the time she rolled her eyes and walked away. This is one example of what we received daily for 5 days. -Pool incredibly dirty, rarely cleaned. Included rusty nails. - In defense, the view here is beautiful and the rest of the staff were very friendly.
Nice view, perfect for a 2 nights stop before heading north or south.”
Nice live music at evenings. Relaxing hotel and very nice view. Our room was in very bad shape and needed a lot of repairment, but the managment arranged another one, athough also was had some issues that could be fixed. Hot water was not running well. We didnt had a lot of help for tours booking. Needed to be search and ask by us. Easy access by walk to the town, but during night is quit dark, needed to take a tuc tuc. Beach is far away, at least 20 minutes walk. Anyway it is value for money, and a good (i believe the best) option if staying in San Vicent.
Nice Place, took the sunset suite, perfect view right over the ocean. Furniture was okay, everything was clean. Food was very good, especially the local ones... Long Beach was white and so **** empty, we were the only ones for kilometers of beach. Just try it, it's not port Barton , but we liked it more
would recommend to stay”
Hotel has a very beautiful view. Lobby is comfortable and nice designed. For European and travalers I would highly recommend that place because it is owned by european owner. So there is higher standard of services then in other accommodations owned by locals.
A spectacular location, incredibly friendly staff and surprisingly amazing pizza. It's located in a sleepy little town full of friendly people and right near the stunning Long Beach. Quite a few mosquitoes so bring repellant.
Perfect and uncomplicated with all time support ”
Had the opportunity to book the hotel with a great discount. Best way to start Palawan here, as you can't get a better Palawan guide/ advisor as the owner himself and if you wish in perfect German. The hotel has a great view and just a view walking minutes away from the quite white beach.
Probably the Best Place in San Vicente”
Definitely the Best Place to eat and stay in San Vicente. Some items on the menu were not available during my stay. Friendly, and helpful staff. Room and Bed was decent size, however, the AC unit was too small for the room. Needed to leave it running 24hrs to cool the room. The TV was also small, maybe 13in diagonal. Limited cable channels also. Water heated by solar power, no sun = no hot water. No fault of the Resort, but internet connection was poor. (It's bad in that part of Palawan.) Pool is 5ft deep, not sure how often it's cleaned. I would stay here again.
Very reasonable price, amazing sunset view and the food is really good and extremely reasonable. Had an awesome authentic 12" thin crust pizza for only P260? Amazing. The owner Steve is very friendly and always available for a chat and some advice. The staff are all really nice too. Hot water can be a little tricky because it's solar heated and we had some rainy days, but other than that it was all good. Would definitely stay here again. :)
