You will come for the price but stay for the vibe.”
Sachi is my favorite guesthouse in Japan I have been there twice and I have plans to go back for a third time. Is not only cheap, but the accommodations are great, either if you book a private room or a bunk bed, and the staff are as friendly as it gets. I actually didn't wanted to leave Sachi today because I felt I had everything I needed. A comfortable bed, a hot shower, a high speed wifi connection, a fully equipped kitchen with space to store my food and many nice people always going and coming to the house. Maybe that's the selling point, its actually a very peaceful place! I could focus on my studies and improved my kanji a lot. But don't be fooled, the party is around the corner (almost literally) and in Shinsekai there is always something to do. Else you can go to the nearby Namba area or wherever you want since there are multiple transportation options close by. I even got to Ise for a day trip but just walking around the streets of Tennoji and the geeki Den Den Town can be very fun. Even if you decide just to stay at the house is a great plan, the atmosphere is relaxed and there is always someone to talk with. On days I just wanted to rest I meet so many good people in Sachi. Both foreigners and Japanese, short and long term residents live in harmony and are willing to share. You might even be able to participate on the fun parties organized by the staff and the residents. Finally, I want to thank all the nice and attentive members of the staff with which I spent the most time with and to the manager who is a very caring and considerate person, a cool pianist and super good cook. I cannot wait to go back to Sachi on Spring!

Exceptional”
I slept in peace house 3 nights and it was great, first of all the staff are amazing, they speak English, lots of knowledge about the city, good recommendations on where to go and what to see, the atmosphere in the hostel is really good, plus there’s a well equipped and clean kitchen.

Cheap dormitory ”
Very cheap place to save some money, but don’t expect usual Japan standards here. Don’t recommend for whose looking for more privacy.

Acceptable”
As nice as these pictures look, don't make the same mistake I made! When we came in, people weren't wearing masks, and our room was super unclean. I took the top bunk and there was a hole in the ceiling with exposed wire. Later on we asked for a change, but it wasn't much cleaner; the bed was super rickety and made awful noises. Granted, if your only concern is money, this is super cheap, but to me it wasn't worth it at all.

bath”
The bath is too small, not even a single hook to put your stuff. The shower curtain is filthy and torn, looks like it’s been awhile that it was changed. If you are okay with that because well, the price, then go ahead.

Acceptable”
In the peak of COVID-19, no one including staff wore masks. Cockroaches roaming in the kitchen at night. The filter for air conditioner hasn't been cleaned for a long time, it stinks. Staff are unfriendly and lacks professionalism.

Peace House Sachi is the best hostel I've stayed in during my travels. The family atmosphere is amazing, the staff is super friendly and always caring and helpful. I stayed there for about two weeks in a dormitory but with a lot of privacy. The showers and toilets are clean, and on the ground level there is a common area in which you can cook and relax with ither travelers. I will definitely come back if I'm in Osaka next time.

Great stay!”
Peace house sachi was absolutely great! Clean place with a nice kitchen and walking distance to a lot of places. You can also rent a bike there and get to all the sites. The staff was amazing and extremely helpful!! Not a big hostel so not a lot of guests. If you want a big hostel with a very social scene maybe not your place but otherwise awesome!!!

Thanks Sachi! Really enjoyed my stay”
Sachi is located in Shinsekai area, very close to the subway station; also only 3 minute walk to the best okonomiyaki place in town "Chitose" and that redlight district lol; 5 minute walk to Tsutenkaku or the Tennoji Zoo. The hostel itself is cozy, the staff are also very nice, always been helpful and they do organize a lot of activities such as going to onsen together, "okonomiyaki night" or karaoke. I really enjoyed my time here and made some friends throughout the stay. You can use the kitchen to cook your own food, a nice thing is their dorm is only 2 beds/room so a lot more comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone wanting some good vibes of Osaka and on a budget!!

We spent 4 nights at Sachi and we had a great time! Nydia, the manager, and the rest of the staff are super friendly and they always try to organize common meals as well as help you with everything. It is very good located close to Shinsekai and public transport everywhere! Very good value for money
