You will come for the price but stay for the vibe.”
Sachi is my favorite guesthouse in Japan I have been there twice and I have plans to go back for a third time. Is not only cheap, but the accommodations are great, either if you book a private room or a bunk bed, and the staff are as friendly as it gets. I actually didn't wanted to leave Sachi today because I felt I had everything I needed. A comfortable bed, a hot shower, a high speed wifi connection, a fully equipped kitchen with space to store my food and many nice people always going and coming to the house. Maybe that's the selling point, its actually a very peaceful place! I could focus on my studies and improved my kanji a lot. But don't be fooled, the party is around the corner (almost literally) and in Shinsekai there is always something to do. Else you can go to the nearby Namba area or wherever you want since there are multiple transportation options close by. I even got to Ise for a day trip but just walking around the streets of Tennoji and the geeki Den Den Town can be very fun. Even if you decide just to stay at the house is a great plan, the atmosphere is relaxed and there is always someone to talk with. On days I just wanted to rest I meet so many good people in Sachi. Both foreigners and Japanese, short and long term residents live in harmony and are willing to share. You might even be able to participate on the fun parties organized by the staff and the residents. Finally, I want to thank all the nice and attentive members of the staff with which I spent the most time with and to the manager who is a very caring and considerate person, a cool pianist and super good cook. I cannot wait to go back to Sachi on Spring!

awesomest”
Peace House Sachi is the best hostel I've stayed in during my travels. The family atmosphere is amazing, the staff is super friendly and always caring and helpful. I stayed there for about two weeks in a dormitory but with a lot of privacy. The showers and toilets are clean, and on the ground level there is a common area in which you can cook and relax with ither travelers. I will definitely come back if I'm in Osaka next time.

Great stay!”
Peace house sachi was absolutely great! Clean place with a nice kitchen and walking distance to a lot of places. You can also rent a bike there and get to all the sites. The staff was amazing and extremely helpful!! Not a big hostel so not a lot of guests. If you want a big hostel with a very social scene maybe not your place but otherwise awesome!!!

Thanks Sachi! Really enjoyed my stay”
Sachi is located in Shinsekai area, very close to the subway station; also only 3 minute walk to the best okonomiyaki place in town "Chitose" and that redlight district lol; 5 minute walk to Tsutenkaku or the Tennoji Zoo. The hostel itself is cozy, the staff are also very nice, always been helpful and they do organize a lot of activities such as going to onsen together, "okonomiyaki night" or karaoke. I really enjoyed my time here and made some friends throughout the stay. You can use the kitchen to cook your own food, a nice thing is their dorm is only 2 beds/room so a lot more comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone wanting some good vibes of Osaka and on a budget!!

Amazing hostel!”
We spent 4 nights at Sachi and we had a great time! Nydia, the manager, and the rest of the staff are super friendly and they always try to organize common meals as well as help you with everything. It is very good located close to Shinsekai and public transport everywhere! Very good value for money

Friendly staff”
I didn't actually check in this hostel because I was six munites late for my flight (I missed my flight). (Couldn't cancel the room, sigh~) But a few days later, I did pay a visit there at Peace House Sachi. The staff members were friendly and of help. The night I arrived were also fully booked, so I had to stay in other hotels too. But they helped me find another hotel to stay. Sigh again~~

Exceptional”
I slept in peace house 3 nights and it was great, first of all the staff are amazing, they speak English, lots of knowledge about the city, good recommendations on where to go and what to see, the atmosphere in the hostel is really good, plus there’s a well equipped and clean kitchen.

Terrible place”
The hostel is located a few steps off the main street. When you enter, the tiny front entrance is full of stinky shoes that you will fall over because there is no where else to step. However, that is nothing compared to the tiny closet (room) with a bunk bed we were assigned. The room is sooo tiny that I was only able to walk sideways between the wall and the bunk bed. And I am a small petit person! No wonder there at least 2 people sleeping in the kitchen area in chairs. Check-in is also so late, only from 6 to 10pm, but at least you can get a code to the front door to store your luggage in the kitchen/living room area downstairs. Our sheets and blanket had every color, long, short, curly, straight hair on it. Disgusting!! I have stayed at many other hostels, in many other countries, which were all great. Unfortunately this was a terrible place and I would never stay here again. My suggestion for Peace House Sachi would be to make the terrace on top of the building a sitting area for guests, clean up the front entrance and front desk area and wash the sheets and blankets once in a while.

Good locations, center of Osaka”
just 2 metro stops to Namba the most famous area in Osaka, friendly and helpful stuff. The room was very small and 2-layer bed, you may have a roommate if you're traveled alone.

Very great place for backpackers but the owner have to maintain Equipements”
The place is great for backpackers who want a small room for an Osaka trip. Employees make sure you are feeling good at this place and give you all expected commodities. But some Equipment are broken due to old component, lot of usage and lack of maintenance/fixing. This is not the fault of employees they are not is charge of planning building maintenance. The owner have to take his responsibility and plan for new equipment.

Thank you! ”
We originally were only meant to stay for 3 nights but we extended several times because we were so happy here. You get what you pay for, so small basic rooms but for a very cheap price. The whole hostel is kept clean daily. The staff have been super friendly, we’ve joined in on burger nights and the manager also taught us how to cook Okonomiyaki! It’s a very chilled environment and we felt comfortable helping ourselves to the free tea and coffee and socialising with everyone. Thank you so much all of you and maybe one day we will be back :) Megan and Callam x

Excellent location & ambience , but no elevator”
Great location of only 5 minutes walk to the nearest station (one with the direct train to Kansai airport, the other one to the Osaka station & Dotonburi area), very comfortable homey place, free small snacks & tea and possibility to use the communal kitchen, friendly staffs, but no elevator (the staff might help with your bags though!)

Japan - Osaka Area close to train station”
Staff were very friendly. We found it to be a friendly and easy place to make new friends. Hotel does not have a lift. Our room was very very small. bunk beds, small window no view.Air conditioner works well. Showers and toilets ok. It has an open roof top. There is enough room to sit and look out around the city area and a nice place to sit back and enjoy the view and have a drink or 2. Good security. Good cooking facilities. Close to train stations. Tip - there is a store 5 min walk from the hotel if you go between the hours of 7.45 then at 8.00pm you can buy marked down cold food for half price. Great value, great food. The staff at the hotel can direct you to where it is. We found this place to be the best for cheap food and is a big supermarket. You can buy a all day train pass for 800 Yen. You can walk to alot of tourists attractions from here. We found the cruise near Namba Station is not worth the money (900 Yen) If you are English speaking it is a waste of money. The cruise is really short and you can easily walk it yourself.

Great atmosphere”
This hostel had a good atmosphere and seemed like it was full of families and young travelers. It was super convenient for me as I was flying out of Osaka airport the next day.

Accaptable for one night but worth less”
There was no door but curtain instead. Guests loud but got quiet when asked to keep the voices down. As one night quick sleepover acceptable but not worth the money. However in Osaka it is almost impossible to find anything later then a month ahead so they know why they are asking as much. Next time I would travel a little further to get more decent stay. This might be good for students but not for married over 30 couple.

I subdivide my rating into bullet points to simplify them. - clean kitchen (kitchen utensils and other things provided) - Clean, as well as secluded dorms - Very pleasant staff, which immediately acts on a request - Courteous and courteous manager who creates a pleasant friendly base to "his" tenants Overall, I would recommend anyone visiting this place! Google Translator is my friend :)

Good, basic hostel”
The hostel is located just outside Dobutsuenmae Station on the subway Midosuji line. The Midosujiline connects directly to both Namba and Umeda stations making extremely convenient. The hostel itself was basic, but clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly. I would definitely stay again.
