Peaceful refuge”
I stayed here in the middle of Songkran, so was very happy to have such a peaceful, spacious space to hide out it when the water fight enthusiasts got too aggressive... The hostel is placed within a strange, faded glamour, half-empty shopping mall and set of condo apartments. The entrance is the first door on the right when entering the mall, where the hostel also runs a small cafe. My room was the shared 3 bed female room, which was clean, comfortable and the other guests were quiet. There's a fairly large common space with tables, fridges and cooking hobs and microwave. The family that runs the hostel is very nice. There is some type of schoolroom/tutoring of kids that goes on in one of the hostel rooms, which is a little odd when you are going to and from the pool. The best aspect of the hostel is definitely the pool, which is beautiful, not too busy (and nearly empty in the mornings or early evening) and is flanked on two sides by small pretty traditional-ish Thai houses, well tended plants and fish bowls, and on the other with the apartment building and the gym. Plan to come back to this hostel later, and visit Chiang Mai when it's not immersed in the slightly hell-ish wet mess of Songkran!

More than a hostel!”
We planned a three night stay here and extended it to six nights. When it was time to leave, both my kids were reluctant to go. The room itself was basic and even dated, but it was cleaned daily, had a/c and a fridge, consistent wifi, lovely staff, and we were very comfortable. The hostel is located in a larger, mixed commercial/residential building. We arrived late in the evening and had a little trouble finding the hostel office (you enter through their cafe). If you plan to arrive after 8pm, staff won't be there unless you've communicated with them about your arrival time. I was able to call using someone else's phone and the manager opened the front doors for us within minutes. Benefits: A convenient aspect of being in a larger building is the hostel guests have access to the building's lovely pool, gym, laundromat, convenience store, and other businesses. The building is not far from Maya shopping center (we walked there with kids in about 10 minutes), and is on a major road easily accessible to public transportation. We did walk to the historic center of town once, but it was a long hike for my 8y/o and not something we'd do on a regular basis. It's fine for a tuktuk. The hostel itself has rooms, a living space, basic kitchen, and classrooms used for some of its programs. We chose to eat breakfast at the cafe downstairs most mornings, where you could order an American breakfast set, a la carte bakery items, or Asian/other international plates. Drawbacks: the family room is accessible by several flights of stairs. To my knowledge there is not an elevator reaching it. It you or someone in your party cannot climb stairs, this hostel may not be a good fit for you. Also, the rooms are dated. We were comfortable, and the other amenities compensated for this in our opinion, but it is important to know. The shower was hot, the ac was cold, the room was clean. We were happy. Guests and staff were welcoming of our children during our stay. Recommended.

Definitely, definitely stay here.”
OK. I never leave reviews, but I will for this place. I felt like I walked into a palace on day one. This place is so serene and relaxing, and right in the city, it's confusingly perfect. I would stay here forever if I could. 150% stay here if you are looking for a chill atmosphere, pool and resort-like amenities for budget pricing. It's gems like these that make the world a beautiful place. ***I'm reading some other bad reviews on here: I would ignore them. This place is under new management now apparently, and everything is just so lovely.

Quiet, restful stay - more than what meets the eye”
Looked good on the internet, looked less good at the front desk. Inside a larger complex, with little signage out front, very much a hostel/language school feel downstairs. However the room we stayed in - the triple - was very beautiful and quiet, blocked off from the din of the road, and with a view of the pool. Great stay.

Ask to Bella”
I took 2 nights but when i saw all condition, higienic, valuable for money and safety i'd extended 2 days more. All people english spoken. Near at downtown and amazing and cheap tours. Almost perfect. Getting better thai? Too much clorum in the pool, but its shared and the guilty guy is the pool-watching men from the main hotel. Go there. 100%

Greatful home atmosphere”
Good food with reasonable price at the 1st floor café. Especially the bread made by a French guy is awesome. Big and Quiet swimming pool. Strong Wifi like internet café. The staffs are very informative. Beddings are satisfactory.

Sir, you spent a relaxing stay, thanks. I'll again”
It is close to the airport was very good but the environment is quiet and clean, convenient to the facility. A large swimming pool and gym, and massage rooms that are equipped to solve the fatigue of the trip was good.

A comfy one-stop-shop”
It was very nice and the staff was super helpful. The pool is great and gets a lot of sun but you have to pay 50 baht for a towel even though you get one with your room. There is a fridge and drinking water always available. The guest house is at the end of the old city so you have to take a taxi or tuktuk. The aircon turns off at 6AM and you can only keep your bags stored until 2pm after checking out at noon that day. It's not really for backpackers but we really enjoyed it for just relaxing and would go back for sure.

Good value, nice room and pool”
We stayed here with two young kids in the family room. Spacious room with room for all our bags and beds. The wifi was good. It was nice to have a fridge and a common room so we could have our own breakfast.

The Pool was the only good part”
If you're looking for a cheap place to stay with a pool in a quiet place then this place is worth looking at. I didn't find the bathrooms at all clean-- in fact, it was kinda disgusting (but I like things very clean). I stayed in the female dorm (3 beds) and they were okay. The location is close to Nimman area but still a bit of a walk. I wouldn't stay here again.

Hard to find. ”
Good, airco was broken but fixed within a day. The guesthouse was hard toe find. There is no sign that showes you the way. It is in the building 'hillsite plaza'. When you enter the building, go to the café / restaurant / reception on the right (ground level). There you van book in.

Nice quiet place, poor service ”
Many of the employees slept the entire time. Whenever i asked for something they would say it's unavailable. Food was not very good. Pool was very nice, beds and aircon were nice, location was quiet with a lot of facilities near by.

Basic”
We arrived early and had to wait for them to come down and let us in. We were charged 200 baht to check in early. Bedroom was small but bed was fine. ..silly price as there were much better hotels further in town.

Great staff, but not a place for backpackers”
We were supposed to stay here for three night school, but we left after one night to stay closer to the old city. The staff who own this are very nice, but the location isn't very good. Myself and my friend were the only ones there as well so there was not any atmosphere. The man who runs it is very nice and also very persistent in regards to turning off all lights. The complex in which the guest house is located, is very big and grand. I would recommend this to people who are looking for quiet stay and keeping themselves to themselves.
