Remote hotel and friendly service”
Hotel is in a remote and developing area. Many other hotels still under construction in the general area, but very peaceful and secluded. All facilities clean, and the beach was very clean. However, trash from ships or other beaches was in the water, making it quite dirty. Beautiful but rocky beach. A shuttle from Phan Thiet, the neighboring city, is available for a small fee. It can pick you up anywhere in the city. This is nice if you arrive there by coach or plane. The shuttle was free for us, but we had to pay the fee to return to the city. The room was comfortable, and water/cofee was free. Free breakfast appeared to be only one plate per person, but is actually all you can eat. No buffet, but the server will get you anything you want, how ever much you want. Decent bar, pool tables, swimming pool, and soon to be finished bar-b-cue area for outdoor cooking. 2 days is plenty of time to do everything. This is a good place to get away with your spouse or boy/girl friend and be alone. Not good for children or families who want to activities in their day. No English speaking staff as of January 2011. Cabin-style or bungalow meeting room for large business gathering/tour group.

Great resort though a bit too far from city”
Beautiful resort that is about an hour away from Mui Ne Center and about 30 - 40mins away from Phan Thiet city. It's abit inconvenient if you want to visit the city's attractions like the Sand Dunes or Fairy Stream but if you are just looking for a place to relax, sun tan and enjoy the peace, this is definitely the right place to go. Service is pleasant but most staff only speak very little English so communication is abit tough. The resort has a restaurant but it's slightly on the expensive side, food is good though.

Great accomodation, ”
Great accomodation, but beware that this resort that our family renamed peacful retreat is just that - it is 25km south of Phan Thiet. Im pleased that they are no longer selling this property as being at Mui Ne because it is 45km from there! There are very few people here that speak English and we struggled quite a lot to communicate until we discovered the massage therapist who had reasonable english. We were the only people in the 'retreat' the first night which was fine except the restaurant was not offereing buffet breakfast on the first morning - then a tour group arrived and it was all systems go! You can only eat at this place as there is nothing around for some distnace either way. We enjoyed our 3 nights of complete relaxation - the pool is lovely and the massage was great- but any longer and it would become too much for us.

Very relaxing!”
It's a long way from anywhere, but that's exactly what I was looking for. The rooms are clean and spacious with comfortable beds (sprung mattresses, not foam) and the in-room facilities were good. I needed to cut my stay short so I traded in my nights in the hotel for fewer in a bungalow, which was definitely worth it. Families who staying there seemed to find the games room a bonus, and the pool was lovely and clean, if very chilly. The breakfast buffet was Asian style and the egg station omlettes were yummy. All the food from the restaurant was delicious! There was a nice family feel there, with staff that spoke good English and were happy to help in any way they could. A definite recommend for a quiet break!

The resort is quite far from the city, it takes about 30-40 minutes. The resort is ok but the beach is awful, we can't swim @ beach, because there so many rocks and it is dirty, it seen they didn't clean it everyday. The swimming pool is so so, not really clean although they clean it everyday. Others entertainment equipment were old, and have not been cleaned eg: the billiards & Foosball. We really like the food @ restaurant, it taste good, the price is reasonable.

Good Hotel - very quiet”
they should have called this one "remote resort" its in the middle of nowhere and you are forced to take a 45 min buss ride into mau ne or incur the dong taxi rip. what exacerbates this situation is that the hotel's prices for food and beverage are elevated to capitalize on the situation. clean, tidy and very peaceful.. if you are hoping to find life or english speaking staff members on your holiday, do yourself a favor and go into mau ne.. the staff do not know one word of english

The hotel is green and quiet. Staff is heapful and do an extra service, the room is big and clean with breakfast included. However, the beach in front of the hotel is full of rock, not safe. I enjoy staying here

Windows on the outside were dirty and takes away from the view of the ocean. dining was out doors, no air, always swatting flies and bugs away.

Backpackers at best!!”
Disappointed with our stay to say the least, staff had very basic English which made it difficult for us, arrived to be told there was no food available which is hard to hear when you have a 3 year old to feed, unfortunately it seemed that if you spoke Vietnamese it was possible to order something we discovered later. Isolated to the point that there are no taxis, motorbikes to hire or even a bike, so no way to get any other options of food or drink, I brought the last 4 tiger beers from them so no booze either. Beach is beautiful apart from all the rubbish all over it, possibly a problem all over though! Ke Ga down the road has some supply's and a local bus can be flagged down. This resort is "peaceful" it is dead.
