A great stay with a very warm and helpful staff”
My friends and I stayed at Pearl Gourmet Inn Takesho for one night. When we arrived, we didn't know where to go for dinner. The mistress of the inn offered to personally guide us to a place for dinner. When we changed our minds and wanted to go somewhere else, she called ahead and made reservations for us. That night, we had a great time with the boss of the inn, drinking and telling jokes and stories. He even treated us to more food. We had a blast spending the night with such great company and hospitality. Thank you very much. We all had a great time.

Guidelines for those who book this hotel”
The hotel is very clean, hotel's owners are very kind. They will help you if they can, they will take you to tourist attractions by free subtle bus/car and even nearby restaurant if you don't want to eat at the hotel. ----- How to get there: Train: Wherever you come from, you have to get on the Kintetsu Limited Express train, and your destination will be Kashikojima station. For the train, I suggest buying ticket before you go onboard. At Kashikojima station: When you reach Kashikojima, get down and look for the sign board of "Central Ferry Boat" or the alike (I don't remember its exact name but the content should be the same). Follow the sign, when you get to the street U'll immediately see the ocean and the port. Buy the boat ticket at the small office opposite the port, the officers wear light-blue T-shirt. You only need to tell them "Wagu Shima-cho" and they will guide you how to buy the ticket and what time the boat will come. Prices are fixed for all destinations, and if I don't remember it wrong, price to Wagu island for an adult is ¥610. Try not to miss the boat because it takes around 2hrs for another boat to come, and please notice that the last boat is 5:30pm. Don't miss it if you want to go back to the hotel. On the Ferry: The seats are comfortable, you can go to the ferry "balcony" or its "rooftop" to enjoy the view. They have smoking area too. You don't it to show your ticket at the beginning, you need to do so when you get off the ferry. Wagu is the last station of the ferry (there are 2 stations). On the Island-How to get to Takesho place: I suggest you make a call to the hotel (Tel shown in Hotel info when you book), tell them that you book a room there and you are at the Wagu ferry port, can they come to pick you up. They will drive the shuttle bus there to pick you up. It takes 15mins to get there if you go by foot. Call them is the best choice. Entertainments on the island: The hotel owners can guide you to Japan traditional "Onsen". You

スタッフは皆さん感じがよくとても気持ちよく宿泊できました。 ただ宿入り口までのアプローチが非常に狭く大きな車を運転の際は切り返して入らなくてはなりません。 風呂は男女入れ替わりでメインの貝の形をした湯船の風呂に入ることができますが宿泊した日は替わらなかったです。
