Pearl Hotel Waikiki

Great value for money whether travelling solo or in a group. Staff are super friendly and the location is perfect distance for everything in waikiki. Will definitely be staying there again.

This was a great location that was close to the airport. The rooms are small, but clean and all we needed. The front desk people were outstanding! Can’t say enough about how polite, helpful and kind they were.

Room smelt of bleach. It was in the sheets and I felt covered in beach during the night. I kept smelling my pajamas but it was definitely the sheets. No good at all sleeping with the smell of chemicals. I had just had IVF and the doctor told me to to keep way from toxins and chemicals, but there I was trying to seep in a hard bed that smet of bleach. The pillows we're comfortable. The room and bathroom ere bth very clean. The location was directly opposite the International Market Place. So close to the Cheesecake Factor and The Royal Hawaiian Hotel. I slept well enough but rubbish truck came at 5.30, then construction works started using machinery, well before 7am. It was a pretty average night for me. I just loved the location. I felt it was a 2 star place. You get what you pay for, and as I said, it was clean and the location great. Just really just need to stop bleaching the sheets, and either replace the beds or put mattress topper on them.. front desk staff need to improve cou

very good value hotel . has been renovated- rooms spacious and spotlessly clean bathroom. Only one annoying thing- very noisy aircon which only worked on flat out. Great to have fridge microwave and tea/coffee maker provided. Great location - just off Kuhio st- near supermarket , pink trolley bus, international market place.

Booked 2 rooms through Agoda with advance full payments. Invoice stated include Facilities fees & Taxes. I was shocked they demand another USD220 for facilities fees which include USD30 per night parking. Will never warn colleagues never to book this hotel

I booked my two nights through Agoda. The rate was excellent. I never heard of this hotel before and I come to Waikiki just about every month as I live in Hilo, the Big Island. I surprised to find the property is very clean, a large studio I stayed at, large 42" TV, quiet at night as the hotel is off Kuhio. Staff very friendly, and the location is the best! It is directly across the street from the entrance to the International Market Place on Kuhio.

It was simply great.. I was not expecting that it was a big room where I was billeted and it can accommodate five - 6 persons. The location is great and very accessible to Waikiki beach front and nearby shopping malls.

I quite enjoyed staying in the hotel. The best is its location. It is in the most popular place in the whole island. Although I arrived late about 9:00 pm, I felt quite safe to walk around as there are so many people. I immediately found so restaurants nearby. These Italian, American (like New York Steak), Japanese, Chinese (and other cultures') restaurants give me a very good impression about American multi-cultures.It is quite easy for one to find an eating place suitable for one's taste as well as budget. Some shopping places are also opened very late. One can also find many shopping places in walking distance. Also it is quite convenient to use buses (one minute walk to some bus stops to almost any place in the island). The room is very clean and has free internet. The room is eqipped well.

Well I arrived at midnight to not a happy customer service employee. She stated she didnt have my booking. Lucky I had printed out t hff e reservation number and showed her. She mumbled about being booked through a third party!! She was not happy but gave me a very basic room. Not anything like the pics!! The room was a bit smelly and carpets were badly stained. Although the bed was comfy and linen clean. The air con was very very load so it was hard to sleep with it on. Most staff were friendly and somewhat helpful. It was my seventh trip to Hawaii.

Comfortable beds room had everything you need but there was mould all around the top windows which was a concern. Staff mostly excellent although the older guy with glasses was rather bossy and not welcoming.

Big noise in the morning, you will wake up every 5 AM. Need to put one dollar on every place you want it clean. The front desk employees only 2 is nice. The rest of the employees are from hell. Big discrimination. They just don't like Asia people. It's not worth for the money. The room is just not clean.

-it's at the center of everything. -walking distance to the beach. -affordable restaurants nearby. -aircon too loud.. and when you turn it off, you can hear the people outside who passes by the room. -old furnishing but functional. -free beach towels. 30usd if you lose them. -wifi is good. -Perfect for travellers who are staying out all day in the sun and have fun and just looking for a decent place to stay yet affordable.

The Pearl is a older hotel but her location is awesome. She is literally a half block from the International Market, and a block and a half from the beach. A block in the other direction is a food market. The staff were very helpful with planning excursions and local transport. As well, we can to Honolulu 5hrs later than planned ( flight delayed) and they made accommodations for our late check in.

Huge room but hardly furnished and mediocre ac

No reply to two E Mail sent in relation to earlier Typhoon Jebi at Kansai Deposit of USD100 not acceptable in cash but by credit card. I was told refund may take up to 10 days. This is not a deposit required by the Hotel - a deposit should be returned on ckeck out.. I shall revert if this deposit is not credited to my A/c soon.

Was only planning on staying one night. Got upgraded for free and the hotel was great so I stayed an additional three nights. Friendly staff and great location

The hotel was nice unfortunately I wanted a balcony but apparently you can’t get that when you book a standard room (don’t think I saw that written anywhere) and also they don’t supply universal adapters so make sure you purchase your own one. Wifi was excellent standard room was great. Overall for the price you pay you can’t go wrong. Location is great you can walk anywhere.

Staff were excellent, walking distance to beach and shops. Check out the awesome coffee shop next door. Room wasn't spotless but nothing to complain about unless your a spotless freak. For the price in that area i don't see how it could be beat.

This is definitely a budget hotel. Great staff, looks to be nice facilities, but room was dark, musky-smelling, and lots of insects on the floor, furniture, and garbage bins (not bed bugs). Location was excellent - only a 5 minute walk to the beach and lots of shops and restaurants in the same area.

The location was perfect and the staff were very very friendly. All staff! I thought it was all clean but there were a lot of areas that looked a bit run down and the coffee by the reception ran out too quickly in the mornings :)
