A good friendly hotel; maybe all you need?”
I have been using this boutique hotel on and off when wanting to stay in Malate. Its location in Malate is very good ( a mere 4 - 5mns walk to RobinsonMall) yet hotel is quiet (except for possibly noisy guests but that is not the hotel's fault and could happen at any hotel). I renewed my stay for a total of 5 days and wifi has worked superb except for last day; was only provided in the lobby (but maybe restored later?). All in all, excellent value for a modest two star hotel.
Close to PICC Small Hotel with very friendly and helpful staffs. Deluxe room is spacious, comfy bed, cold a/c, nice hot shower. Tho the hotel is at the middle of busy area with bars, u barely hear the noise from outside. Had a very goodnight sleep..
Worth the price. Will definitely come back! ”
Pros: - near to malls, hospital and a lot of restaurants to choose from - staff are very nice, courteous and accommodating - room is spacious enough with all basic amenities. - they clean the room when you ask for it - breakfast buffet is okay. I love the french toast, omelet, the buttered vegetables Cons: - maybe a few more movie channels :) - add more viands like fish on your breakfast menu. For our 3 night stay, it’s usually meat :) Overall, we enjoyed our stay. We will definetely chose this hotel when we come back to manila and would recommend it to friends. Thank you to the staff again! Keep up the good work. :)
Good location. Basic”
Pros- Good location, friendly staff Cons- old bathrooms but clean though, glass wall on bath room should be replaced so that water water would not leak keeping the other area dry and floor towel will not get wet. Would prefer bidet with hose rather than built-it in toilet bowl. Window ACs should be above the bed level so the air will not strike you directly.
Pretty descent mini hotel close to PICC”
Huge room. comfy bed, hot shower, cold ac. Fairly quiet at night even the hotel is at the middle of a busy area.. Very helpful and friendly staff.
Disappointed this time”
Stayed in this hotel previously and was satisfied. But this time was disappointed with the breakfast staff. They were not well trained and had no common sense. Front staff are still capable and friendly. Room is still well maintained in terms of cleanliness.
Comfortable small hotel”

After numerous trips to Manila and surrounding areas, the experiences had at the Pearl Lane Hotel have convinced me that this is the Hotel I have been looking for. From plenty of booking options, competitive pricing, amenities for the price, location, cleanliness, staff assistance/service (Edmund is the BEST!), and overall experience, the Pearl Lane Hotel has proven enough to me that no longer will I have the need to continue searching for my ideal lodging location. Pearl Lane Hotel....you have earned a customer for life!
A Notch Above”
In comparison with other hotels within the surrounding area and price ranges the Pear Lane Hotel was definitely one to remember. I have traveled to the Malate, Manila area a few times, and this hotel is exactly what I was looking for. What I was looking for.... 1. Price- When booking online I managed to come across this hotel. The rates were the same or much better than many other hotels in the area. 2. Amenities - While I am not too mindful of most amenities, there are a few in particular I look for. Smoking/Non-Smoking Rooms, newer refridgerator, soft bed, standing shower, good air conditioning, and water pressure. The Pearl Lane Hotel is the ONLY hotel I have stayed at (6 other hotels in the same price range) that manages to provide all of what I was looking for. Friendly Staff - Self-Explanatory Complimentary Breakfast - Numerous options of food to chose from in a fantastic setting. All in all I will be making the Pearl Lane Hotel my
Pearl of Ermita”
We stayed here for a convention in a school nearby. It was ok. Rooms were spacious, though it was not sound proof as one could hear hallway chatter. Food was ok although it took a while for eggs to be served during breakfast.
We had a convention a school nearby and chose this hotel because it was walking distance. We are glad we did. The staff were very attentive. The room was comfortable. The TV tough was very small. the food was ok. Value for money.
Near to the mall”
Ive always been coming back to this hotel. The receptionist Pan was great. She can always remember me even after month or years since i last checked in. Even thou food is not in favourable but for the price of the hotel, its fine.Robinson Mall is within 5 mins walk and club seems to be everywhere..which is good for party goers..
We appreciated the great aircon as it has been very hot in Manila. The linen and towels are very good quality and the room clean and quiet with a good light block-out curtain. Very close to Robinsons Place and there are many good restaurants in the surrounding streets. The dining room is on the 5 floor and is open air style ... a very adequate breakfast is served there. Staff are polite and speak very good English
Its great and i will definately come back.”
Overall its great. Nothing changes since i first came to this hotel like 2 yrs back. Room is still the same and i still see the same faces as well. Pen...ure simply great. Thank u for making my stay a pleasant one.
Great place to crash after a night of fun!”
Fast check in, quiet room, safe.and comfortable. I've stayed in this hotel many times. The staff are top notch, service excellent the room quiet, unassuming and plenty of electrical outlets to charge up all of your devices simultaneously after many hours of travel. Free wireless to remain in touch with whomever you need to connect with is a distinct plus. Breakfast with a morning papers is always a nice touch if you need to reenergize prior to your next day's adventure(s). I will probably always keep this hotel in my shortlist of places to stay without a lot of aggravation on my first night in Manila. Nightlife Tip: Extremely close to all of the KTV, bars, discos and resturaunts as well as Casinos. You really CAN'T go wrong with the location (2 blocks from Robinsons Place).
Comfortable place to lay your head.”
Pearl Lane Hotel I've stayed at this hotel about a dozen times due to the following reasons: It is a comfortably quiet hotel with friendly staff and located in a great area for shopping 9Robinsons Place is right up the street). It is very accessible to transportation resources whether you need a taxi, LRT (Light Rail Transport -Train) or watercraft to cruise the Manila Bay or visit Corregidor. The price is right and extremely competitive with similar hotels in the area. It is associated with The Pearl Garden Hotel (sister hotel)but at a more economical cost.
I love their everything especially their breakfast”
We stayed four nights in this hotel and stay was really amazing. Super helpful and friendly staff who assisted us in everything. If you're looking for a place to stay in Manila i would really recommend it.
An old standby”
