A very nice hotel, clean, newly painted rooms, enough space, a beautiful big pool, a friendly staff”
We have been many times in Pearl Manila Hotel, we always feel at home. The rooms are nice and big enough, nicely painted and clean. After a day in Manila the swimming pool is a good place. It is kept clean. The staff is very friendly. I cannot call any reason to go to another hotel instead of Pearl Manila.

Old Hotel but Makes Up for It In Many Ways”
We stayed at the Pearl Manila Hotel for 3 days, 2 nights. We chose the hotel because of its excellent location. It sits very close to a lot of restaurants, malls, the Manila Museum, and public transportation options. The hotel itself is a little old. The decor kind of reminded me of the hotels put up in the early 90s when I was a little kid hanging on to my mom's sleeves whenever she went on business conferences. Nostalgic, actually. Nonetheless, the hotel is very, very well cared for. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The bathroom, which, to me, is the most important thing to consider when choosing a hotel, is absolutely clean and spiffy. They have a nice, huge mirror, very good water pressure, a bidet (thank God!), and thick, fluffy towels. Staff are very friendly and thoughtful, remembering your preferences from the day before and always greeting you with a smile.

Great little staycation”
Pros location of the hotel is convinient. Just a few minutes walk to the malls surrounding it. There are food spots around it. There is a hospital infront of the entrance, streetfood along the corner and fast food chains too. Few minutes walk to the train station and a lot of PUV to choose from. The staff are friendly too. Cons Not really a con, but the lobby is on the 9th floor not like regular hotels where you get greeted as you walk in. The wait for the elevator takes a couple of minutes.. The outside street well, its not the friendliest smell that greets you (the entrance near the hospital) 🤣. All in all my niece and nephew loved the pool, the room was clean and cold (airconditoning 5stars) great to beat the manila heat. The room had cable and kept us entertained while we were chilling in the room.. Would totally stay here again..

A Gem”
The location, the extremely friendly, most helpful staff and the garden and pool area with the view over the courts and Ermita plus the restaurant with the long opening hours make this hotel a gem in the city. My only criticism concerns the windows, which are still from an era when the traffic was only a fraction of what it is now = the need for noise-protective windows is pressing. All in all the hotel is a perfect place for business meetings and leisure trips to Manila alike.

We have been here many times and always come back when we are in Manila. The rooms are big and very nice newly painted. The staff is very friendly. There is a big swimmingpool outside, surrounded by trees and plants. We feel at home here.

not what i expected”
base on previous reviews it says not so nice because it old, etc. that's why i did not expect much, but when i got there, our stay was super nice.. we loved the pool during night swimming it has a good ambiance and the room is very spacious and clean. the only lacking is that they dont offer breakfast but all in all it was a nice stay

Exceptional”
We specifically booked at Pearl primarily because it's close to Manila Doctors Hospital. We booked their superior room. I would say, it is value for money. The room is clean and it looks like it has just been recently refurbished. The bathroom is decent. It's clean. They provide toiletries too which I appreciate so much. The free breakfast that comes along with the reservation is okay too. It's obviously an old hotel. Set your expectations that apart from the room, everywhere else is outdated. Seven Seas has a tiny buffet table and the Oyster Bar looks lonely. I've seen some old reviews about their restaurants too so I guess, the management doesn't plan to reinvent them anytime soon. The pool is okay. It's nothing special but it's decent. I can't say the same for the shower rooms though. Overall, it was a good stay. Value for money.

Third Time Lucky!”
Booked first hotel (OYO 105 Melbourne Suites) and swimming pool was broken, second hotel (ZEN Rooms 8 Adriatico Manila) had a functioning swimming pool but was a condo studio room with no fridge or cooker, finally got a good price (1600 PHP per night) at the Pearl and was very pleasantly surprised, nice big rooms, old style furnishings, good food at restaurant, nice and friendly reception staff, great views of the bay and a small but elegant swimming pool with a large open space next to it. Love this place!

All is good, except the breakfast. ”
It is located close to any tourism spots. The roim is clean, they make up everyday. Staff are nice and polite. The only sufficient is breakfast. In the picture, it showed buffet, but in reality, you sit down, and a staff would come to you with a sheet of menu. The menu is filipino and american breakfast ONLY. I ended up eating only toasted bread, scrambled egg and tea. No even fruits. The next two days, i had breakfast outside. Mc donald and jollibee are just 5meters away. Next time, i wont include breakfast in my booking.
