Nice cozy resort in the middle of the forest”
The property has a bit of everything - pool, small beach, decent restaurant, ping pong table, garden, minimart, etc. Can't get bored. There's a lot of space since it caters to large groups that stay 1 night, but is very, very quiet most times. Breakfast is alright, the restaurant is actually pretty ok and the staff is very nice. Coffee is horrible though! All in all, I'd recommend it for a relaxing time in Kanchanaburi

thank you so much 🙏🙏♥️
Nice view! Quiet location, great service.”
We were the only guests at the resort that day, and staff still generously whipped a wide variety of affordable, delicious Thai dishes. Liked the fried pla saamli best. They also helped babysit our 7mth old while we were having dinner. After american breakfast was served the next morning (they have their own espresso machine), the staff gamely lent us life jackets for free as we went for a dip at the resort's private river beach. Following that, we had hot porridge with a mouthwatering spread of dishes like lean pork meat, eggs with 'chai po' and pickled vegetables.

An excelent stay.”
We had an excellent stay. It was a perfect location for our needs, which were to hike the Death Railway and attend dawn ANZAC services at Hellfire Pass. The room was large and comfortable and the bathroom was large with plenty of hot water. The bed was very hard like most Thai beds. The view was great and the small beach on the River Kwai was nice. It had life jackets and a safety flotation barrier. Also a shower and umbrellas with chairs. A beautiful area and resort.

Relaxing and quiet nature setting”
A quiet comfortable setting for our small group retreat. We were very happy with staying at the resort. The only thing is that we didn't have a vehicle, but the hotel manager picked us up at Sai Yok Waterfall when we called the hotel.

Excellent Place and Extra Ordinary Good Staff”
We were a group of 27 people, upon our request they arranged "Halal Food" and provided BBQ equipment where we all did live BBQ, and that was awesome. Location is excellent, and this resort have its own sort of beach river, which also offers Bamboo Rafting, which we all did and it was just superb. Value for money!

GREAT RESORT IN SAIYOKE.”
The resort is around a three hour drive from Bangkok. It is a bit confusing as the resort is contained within the area of the Hellfire pass, you therefore drive through the security check point. The resort it self has fantastic panoramic views of the river kwai and surrounding mountains. The sandy beach is a nice touch although it was so hot you could not walk barefoot, although that is not a complaint . The food in the restaurant was good and the staff very friendly. The free bicycles is a nice touch too. Be sure to go to the wooden suspension bridge and temple which is about 5km away. If visiting i would recommend a minimum of 2 nights.

Great quiet getaway, lots of space”
My wife and I stayed for 4 nights as our first time to this area, and we would love to come back again. Large room, very clean, and friendly staff. Free bike rentals and badminton rackets to enjoy the area. Perfect for cycling near the river and no traffic! A little hard to get to if you don't have a car though. We walked from Hellfire Pass. You can cycle to the bridge over the river and take a dip. This is definitely a place for the active types. Large field for sports. The restaurant does have a limited number of dishes, so picky eaters should bring some snacks. There is a very small restaurant also outside the gate. Bring cash cause no ATM nearby. Beautiful riverside view and small beach. We loved it.

Remote”
We stayed there only one night. Not enough. Excellent if visiting the hellfire muses and have your own transport- otherwise a $60:00 taxi ride from Kanchanaburi. Very limited English and menu too extensive without interpretation. Small roped area on the river but pool overlooking the bend. A couple of nights preferable. Conferance room available for groups, meals on verandah deck.

Be there early”
Would advise future travellers to go this hotel/resort earlier. Driving to Pechmaneekarn at night can be quite dangerous. This is due to the lack of road sign, road barrier, lamp post and steep road. Would recommend you to check in resort after Hellfire Pass, since they are quite near. Bed can be quite hard and hard to sleep on. Breakfast was simple but acceptable. Not much to do here too. You can wake up earlier for the mist.

Beautiful location, great swimming pool and ¨beach”
After 7 stays in Kachanaburi area this is our favourite location. Beautiful views of River Kwai Noi, nice swimmingpool, very pleasant little beach by the river, chance to ride bycicles... Close to some of main attractions in the area but the hotel has plenty to offer for outdoor activities and relax. Clean hotel, helpful staff... Very pleasant stay. Better to speak a little bit of thai or bring your dictionary.

Amazing resort”
Had such a great time at this resort, bamboo rafting up and down the River Kwai, twice in as many days, it was that good. Met a group of 30+ friends...we all enjoyed our own BBQ on one of the terraces overlooking the river. Great stay.. Highly recommended. .Thanks.

Near perfect. A great place to stay.”
We will be returning - more for a month on the next booking. Really excellent. Built on the River Kwai Noi - the air, the grounds and surrounds, mountains and hills just refreshed me/us [my Thai wife]. Just and check it out - I garrantee you will be as surprised as we. In the middle of the bush, a brilliant drive, near the infamous Death Railway's Hellfire Pass and musuem. Many other sites are in and around the area. It is just 80 ks from Kanchanburri. There are river boats and mountain bikes for hire at the hotel. Go and enjoy. Cheers and chokdi

Not Quite”
Our stay at Pechmaneekan was a good experience, as a well traveled family in Thailand over the last 10 years, i would say this place has huge room for improvement. Staff are friendly but lack reasonable English skills, room we stayed in was like a bungalow with a add on bathroom, nice enough but value for money no! No English speaking TV channels, this is not a huge problem but the cost of the stay should be matched by the standard of the room, etc Also big disappointment was they charge by the item for laundry, this is like 5 star hotels in BK, paid 10 times what we had paid in Samui?? Food (Thai) was very poor and when catering for western and European market they should cater for it But i would recommend this place but just expect it to be a little light on. Great location and nice and quiet.

Wrong Room Type was provided”
I booked two Superior Rooms at this Hotel for my weekends trip. I checked in Late around 5:00 PM in the evening. When I checked in, Hotel manager gave as two rooms as the Superior Rooms. However, later I just found out that they gave us cheaper Two Standard Rooms. NOT Superior Rooms. Although I booked two Superior Rooms by giving more money. So I tried to complaint them to change the right two Superior Rooms as they mentioned with Photos,,,, However, Hotel Managers didn't take any responsibility for our complaint. They reasoned that they had full of customers on weekends, so they didn't have room vacancy any more. That's totally bad.

Quiet and far”
one night stayed here. the location was pretty far about 7 km. from the main road. No place to go, just stay at the resort and do nothing. You should have your own transportation for your convenience. the superior room was like daily apartment for rent rather than resort. The rooom wasn't conduct noices, so I heard other rooms talk and doing xxx all night!!! Breakfast wasn't vary. Should have more foods and fruits. No telephone, toothpath, slipper, dryer and small towel. Overall I give 5/10, location is easy to get lost. Dangerous to reach out at night if you didn't get use to the place.

Excellent location for our needs. Nice clean room.”
Restraint food was good, but limited to Thai dishes only. Breakfast was limited to rice soup or eggs with hot dogs. Eggs could only be fried or scrambled. Outstanding meals could be eaten at the Hintok River Camp which is within walking distance of about ten minutes.
