Not Impressed”
Generally I'm not the complaining kind of person. However my stay at Mmbatho Palms was not a good one.
*Our room had a musky smell
* The A/c unit was noisy
* The breakfast was disgusting
# the carrot muffins had gone
off
# the were more flies on the
fruit than fruit
# even the pastries where stale.
I hope that staff and management takes the source of income seriously.
In all probability I would not be staying again

Worse service I have ever experienced. This place needs to learn a thing or two about cust service ”
Check in was unfriendly, not very welcoming. Which should have been the first sign. The restaurant service was even worse! We were a group of 4 who waited over thirty minutes for food in an empty restaurant. The 4th meal didn't come at all! We couldn't add drinks ordered at the bar of the restaurant to our table tab. I am never going back to this establishment!

not Value for money”
The staff was patronising and unfriendly. Room curtains couldn’t close the whole night. The Place has aged and there is evidently no maintenance.
Hotel Guests receive the same WiFi access( 500MB) as walk in customers and thereafter can’t access it further irrespective of the number of nights and was told there was nothing they could do
The supper was good though

Great place to chill out”
Cheerful friendly check in (a bit slow though as only one person on duty) security chain on door of first room allocated was broken but I was moved and the replacement was perfect. Fridge, tea and coffee, comfy bed, plenty of room and bathroom with bathtub. Quiet despite conference in session. Plenty of available bed chairs around pool which was cleaned daily. Food great and well priced - breakfast buffet exceptional with omelette chef. Thoroughly recommended.

Hotel in complete disarray ”
Even with some renovations going on as an excuse..the hotel is not well maintained. Service is terrible. The staff are friendly but completely unorganized hence the bad service.

Prices”
I always enjoy staying at Mmabatho Palms, hence I was there twice a month last year because prices were affordable, paying around R660 per day, this year I have been staying somewhere cause the prices are so high. the price hike from R660 to R900 is huge, will consider returning there if prices are comparative. overall, I am 100% for Mmabatho palms

Appalling customer service”
it was clean, the food was good and the facility was safe
I was treated like an adolescent child and made to feel unwelcome. The staff continuously spoke to me in a foreign tongue, were abrasive and down right rude.
The security guard who was on duty in the evening of the 10th denied me entry into the hotel with no explanation what so ever and then accused me of not staying at the hotel even after i showed him my room key card. I had to stand outside the hotel for 30 minutes before he deemed it okay for me to gain entry. I was appalled and shocked my laundry service who complained about having to iron my items even though i was being charged for the service. at breakfast we had to stand for 20 mins for an omelette because they were too many guests and not enough chef's! I have never received such bad service in the history of my travels and I will not be returning ever nor will i be recommending anyone stay with them
